They offered me two different resumes to choose from when I only paid for one, so basically got a free add-on which is great. In general I found nothing bad worth mentioning. They took longer than I would have expected, but besides that theres no other negatives that come to mind.
Really poor service. The writer got my original resume and messed up dates and gave minimal effort. She then ghosted me for 3 weeks. I asked for the money back per their guarantee and they denied it. Sham service.
I went with 2 separate resume services to make sure i got the best possible resume i could... i ended up just needing resumego, these guys did an amazing job with everything i ordered
After reading the reviews and trying to enhance my resume for a career growth opportunity I decided to try them. After all, their page boasts of a money back guarantee. I got my resume from them and was completely disappointed. My current role was written in the past tense. They cleaved up duties in past roles to where I didn't even know what it meant. The lumped together duties that did not belong together. The job description I sent them, the one I was going to apply for, meant nothing, as there was no attempt to highlight my relevant skills.
I submitted a refund request letting them know I was not willing to move forward due to the first impression being horrible. I was not going to spend more time telling them how to write a resume and paying rhem to do it. The resume I sent for updating was better than what I received.
After two emails they confirmed I could get a refund, but it would only be half of what was paid. I looked at their website and they offer the "money back guarantee, no questions asked" in multiple places. It is too bad they are not upfront or add an asterisk next to that letting consumers know that it is only 100% refunded if you cancel before getting any draft. After that apparently it is only 50% money back. I believe this is a deceptive practice and will send my issue to the CFPB as well.
Was not worth the time and money for the attempted update towards a professional resume. If you have no resume or this may be your first one, go elsewhere, spend less, and get satisfaction. Resumego overpromised and under delivered.
Read about one of their studies on CNBC and chose them due to their rep. From going with their Professional Package, they did a very solid job and I'm happy with what I got as my new go-to resume
Lowkey these guys are the goats. Read about them from a CNBC article that maed a lot of sense to me and didn't regret my choice. I vibed with my writer and he got my resume set to start applying.

RESUME
The resume I got back was very well-written and I enjoyed the experience I had with Haley, the writer who I had the chance to work with. I would say the form was a little long, but to be expected.
I must say, this service from ResumeGO blew me away with the quality of what they're offering. Awesome cover letter, perfectly tailored to my job position.
I've tried 3 resume services so far and this one's by farrrr the best. What I HATE the most about some of these companies is that the writer DOESNT EVEN TALK TO YOU. Thankfully this was not the case here, and I found that the ResumeGo writer I worked with was very approrachable and someone who analyzed my career history in order to improve my resume.
They didn't live up to the hype I wanted, it was still well-done after my requested revisions but I just expected more from this company.
Out of the 5 or so resume checkers found online, they definitely have the most comprehensive and accurate one by far that is also entirely free
My writer did a solid job (Professional package)
After ordering earlier this week, I got my resume on Friday. Overall - it looks really good
Nice job - wish the process was quicker though - took a full week and a half to get things finalized which is too long
Their resume checker was very helpful and one of the best free ones available online. Others require you to pay and limited info
Their resume scanner is really useful and free - I loved that it showed how my resume was ATS compatible and gave me a sense of where my resume stands among others.
4/5 stars - solid stuff - would have liked more reasoning behind the changes of the writer - final resume was well-written though
Got this as a gift for my cousin who was hopping between jobs and she loved it! Highly recommend for others who might be on the same boat
Fabulous service - taking 1 star off for a lack of fast turnaround time though because it ended up taking a full week to get everything done.
My writer killed it with my resume - everything was well-written, no mistakes to be found, and professionally formatted.
Their resume checker gave me a lot of insight about my resume and is the most detailed one on the web that I was able to find and use for free.
Considering they're free, their resume templates are awesome and I ended up using one of them for my own resume... I really appreciate the help
I submitted a my complete (and I'm now realizing better resume than I would get from ResumeGo) in hopes of making it better. I also included some additional info to help the resume writer understand my current job. My first "draft" that was sent was incredibly disappointing. It was simply a rewording of ONLY my professional summary section with some adjectives added in. This draft did not include any other section beyond my professional summary…the work experience section had nothing filled in…
Based on this "draft", I had no confidence to continue with my writer.
When I reached out to ResumeGo for a refund, they refused to acknowledge or review this draft that was submitted: " To avoid any case-by-case arbitrary decision making we generally just follow our refund policy without making any exceptions. Our writers have different approaches when it comes to creating the rough draft depending on the specific situation of the client they are working with. Sometimes the initial resume is a very preliminary, rough draft that is meant to be worked on much more while in other cases, the initial resume is more refined and closer resembles the final resume the client will be using."
My response was: "I understand your refund policy is in place to avoid arbitrary decision making. However, has anyone actually reviewed the resume I submitted and the "first draft" that was given to me? To reiterate, this draft is my own words rearranged with adjectives added in. Though we are avoiding arbitrary decision making, this whole experience seems to be arbitrary. As a professional resume writing service, you should have guidelines in place for what a first draft should consist of both for your writers and customers. This lack of structure allows a resume writer to write a bare minimum draft of ONLY the professional summary and be paid $180 whether the customer decides to proceed or not. I have now spent $180 on a draft of less than 25% of my actual resume... The lack of definition of a first draft truly takes advantage of customers. The fact that you can support a first draft that does not include 75% of my resume including the actual experience section is concerning and takes advantage of your customers."
Very disappointing experience.
Tip for consumers:
ResumeGo was not worth my money. Maybe I had bad luck with the writer I was assigned? Either way, customer service was not willing to look into the quality of the draft I received that only included a rewording of my professional summary.
RESUMEGO has greatly benefited my resume. It's now far better than it used to be and I appreciate all that my writer has done to make these improvements.
These gentlemen are doing god's work and getting people jobssssssssss, thanks so much - i will remember you when I get my next job offer
I had a quality experience with ResumeGo. There's not much to complain about, but I do wish they offered revisions for more than 14 days.
ResumeGo showed a lot of professionalism throughout the process and wrote me a fantastic resume - really appreciate all they did.
