Super cute. It fits nicely it's very oversized so go with ur normal size. The only thing that is bad is the zip doesn't go up. The zip line is curved so when you try connect the two zips they can't zip up cause it's curved. But apart from that amazing
They sent me the wrong dress, totally different and much cheaper than what I had ordered. When I asked for a refund they initially offered me $10 to just keep the wrong dress, then when I asked for a refund said I had to organise and pay for international return shipping myself. Terrible company, terrible customer service.
The material of the clothes are cheap, the sizing guide is not accurate, there is no refund policy (though they pretend there is), and most important of all... customer service sucks. Overall, do not buy from this shop! They are traumatic!
I ordered a dress and shoes and they shipped them separately. I paid for fastest shipping because I needed it by a certain date. It arrived weeks later and haven't been able to get in contact with them for a refund.

I love Halloween. And I love vintage style. So when I saw a Halloween themed vintage dress from Retro Stage, I HAD to have it. I work in senior care, and got a lot of compliments from my residents, who lived through the 50s. I was nervous about the quality and fit, but it is high quality and it fit true to size. I'll definitely order again!
I just received mine yesterday and I'm in love! The size fits perfectly thanks to the chart, and it arrived quickly to my house. I also like the material, it seems like a very well made dress. I also like that I don't need the extra piece to make the bottom flare out, it already does it nicely without it!
I have bought (2) 1950 dress black with butterfly's off the shoulder, yellow spegitti straps and black waist corset. Reddish velvet 1960 dress off shoulder and 1920 red sequined dress. All well made and look awesome

I ordered a beautiful flapper dress from them and it arrived in less than 20 days in perfect conditions! It was exactly as in the photos, nothing different or out place and from what I understand the fabric is good. I ordered a XL(I am 165 cm tall and a size 46 in Italy, 14 in UK) and I could have maybe ordered a smaller size, but better safe than sorry. I read the other reviews and I was a bit unsure, but now I have to say I recommend it!
I bought Vintage Lace Solid Hilo Formal dress for the wedding of my borther-in-law.
I ordered in grey color and M size. It fits me perfectly and at the wedding I was literally wearing the most beautiful dress. I loved the design and quality of the fabric was above my expectations.
I'm very disappointed. I ordered the dresses, paid expedited shipping, and sent an email to the company saying I needed the dresses by a certain date. I waited until a couple days before I needed the dresses and I tracked the dresses and called the facility the package was supposed to be at and they said they didn't have it. I emailed Retro Stage to see if they would help me locate the dresses because I really needed them by a certain date. I never heard back from them and the dresses didn't even come in in the time frame they were supposed to with the expedited shipping. I am very annoyed with the poor delivery time and not hearing back from the company. Will be returning the dresses whenever they get here and won't be buying from Retro Stage ever again.

The size chart is not correct and when my items did not fit they were not willing to take responsibility. They offered a $30 refund. I offered for us to meet in the middle ($56.50) and they would not agree even though I ordered according to the size chart provided.

I recently purchased a dress from retro stage and I have to say I am completely happy with how fast I got the dress and how the dress looked. Very affordable. Brought a small but it was too big for my body frame I still would recommend it.
I ordered two of these dresses a few weeks ago and loved them. They were made of a satin-like material, which was not what I was expecting, but they fit great and looked lovely, so I had no complaints. I ordered two more and they just arrived. They're made of a cotton material, which is closer to what I was expecting with my first order, they fit exactly like the first two, and they look fantastic! I'm happy with all my dresses, but if you're looking for all of these to be the same fabric you might be upset. I am a size 20 US and I ordered size 3X. I will also wear a petticoat, I highly recommend investing in a good petticoat to give these dresses some fluff!

It took some time to arrive but it was worth it, beautiful dress, exactly like the pictures and the size was like it said on the site. It's so confortable I don't even want to take it off, can't wait to wear it out on dates.
I ordered a dress on October 1 for an event on October 26. Plenty of time for the dress to arrive. I paid for expedited shipping. I kept checking the status of the order and it was still not shipped. I emailed the company asking about the delay. I eventually had to go on Amazon to order a different dress. I did not receive the dress from Retro Stage until October 31. I asked for a refund and they wanted me to pay for the shipping. The return department phone number they gave me was disconnected. STAY AWAY.

I bought 2 dresses from Reteo Stage in July 2020. One didn't fit so I followed their strict return process that they seemed unwilling to even tell me about, making it as difficult as possible to return the dress. They ask for an item # for the dress which can be found no where on their on website, only the name of the item. Of course I had to pay for the return shipping, and I included the shipping # as instructed. Here it is 3 months later and no one has contacted me to confirm they recieved the dress, let alone issue a refund. All I've gotten is dozens of spam emails. They should have just said "no refunds" instead of making you send back a dress you paid for so they can RIP you off and sell it to someone else. I'd have been better off trying to sell the dress myself than return it to them. Boo.

I recently ordered a 20s style dress for an event I will be attending in January. I was expecting basically a Halloween costume. What I received was a really nice dress for a very inexpensive price. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, and the speed of delivery. I figured it was so inexpensive, it was probably coming from China, so it would be months before I received it (which is why I ordered it in September). In less than two weeks, it arrived. It's way better quality than I anticipated (there are a few loose strings, but otherwise it seems decently made). The fit is flattering, and it just looks nice when on. Very unexpected! It's not something I will be wearing a lot, so I expect it will hold up well enough. Another plus: my husband loves it and can't wait until I wear it.
I received the documents to return a purchase and sent it and the garments USPS. They said they couldn't issue a refund because I didn't have tracking info. $70 down the drain because they said I couldn't prove it arrived at their warehouse. Complete BS!
Answer: XL is a Uk size 14 you have to look at the measurements not the Uk and Us sizes as they are a bit out. The sizing chart is at the bottom of the page of the required item go by the cm, s or inches

Answer: I would say yes, China sizes. I ordered 2PCS White Blouse Top & Suspender Pants - White / XL / 10~12 and the size was smaller than a 10, about an 8, but you couldnt wear the pants anyway, so doesnt matter. They list XL as 10-12 but i would still size down and with how the pieces vary greatly, that might still be false.
