Ordered a dress based on their size chart. What arrived is something that's at least 3 sizes to small. Tried to return for free and get a full refund. They offered a 10% refund, would have to provide "proof" it doesn't fit, and I would have to pay to return the product. It's been two weeks now and they are saying I'm outside their return window. They only ever answer via email or FB messenger overnight and the phone number goes to the same person you're emailing. There's no way to talk to a different person to resolve the situation. DO NOT BUY from this company.
I purchased 2 dresses and one crinoline. 1 dress and crinoline fit. Other dress I can't even get out very my head. I contacted them and they wanted me to pay for shipping.
Then they contacted me saying write a good review and they would send me another dress and I didn't have to pay shipping. I am supposed to let them see it before they will send it.
Ok here goes sizes are really off be careful. Material and quality is good. They take forever to get to you. I have a dress sitting in the packaging still.
I'm in Canada and those are American prices so I probably won't be buying anymore.
The products were not as advertised on the website and the company would not work with me on a return. Instead, they offered me to pay more money to get yet another subpar item. I requested to cancel the rest of my order after my experience with the first two items and they never sent my refund.
I ordered a bikini, took a while to arrive that's fine. It was lovely. Placed 2nd order. Size was so small. So requested a refund, eventually they got back to me offering to exchange i said no then offered a percentage off and keep the item, said no still waiting for a return label where I've got to pay the postage back!
I ordered 4 items the beginning of June and received a delivery date of June 12th. On the 12 items didn't come. I reached out through their chat but they were unable to help me. Then next day i received a new tracking for June 21st and thought maybe there was a delay. Well come the 21st nothing. So I reached out to customer service and they offered to send me the swimsuits again for an additional charge. I explained to them that it not necessary since I purchased elsewhere. (Swimsuits were for vacation that I was leaving for on the 22nd). Now they are telling me they can not refund nor can they replace the order since they claim it was delivered on the 12 even with me showing them the tracking for the 21st and delivery showing a different state. Horrible customer service. I will never order from this company again.
Ordered a dress, shoes, purse, gloves, everything for a party for my Mom who turns 90. I wanted to dress as they did in that period. Everything came and I was so pleased with all the merchandise. I'm sure my Mom will be surprised, and I am a happy shopper.

The clothes and products (including shoes, hats, and accessories) are absolutely beautiful and well made. They always have a great deal on unique retro fashion, which I absolutely adore 🥰.

I liked the items I received. However, U don't think the sizes are true to USA sizes. They maybe more European/Asian body sizes. I still waiting to get Return Information which is not a speedy process.
Clothes are cheap quality and do not fit as well as in photos. The company makes returns very difficult and try to get you to spend more money to "exchange" but still keep your original item. Took 3 emails to get return address and actually still waiting for the address. Try to guilt the customer by saying returns are bad for the environment and try to get you to accept a partial return which is not equal to even half the amount of purchase. When something seems to go to be true, it usually is.
Items arrived quickly and as described. My usual size is a perfect fit. Customer service was quick to respond when I had a question. Will definitely order again!
Dress arrived and is lovely but not at all true to size- despite using the sizing chart, this is at least 2 sizes too small. Ah well, return and try again... no chance. The returns have to be sent to USA at your own cost, will have to obviously go through customs, so a refund won't be forthcoming anytime soon. The most worrying part though? Customer service knows that this is onerous and should know that it's also in breech of UK consumer law to have excessive delivery charges, so they offer a 30% refund to keep a useless item to spare you P&P and them doing refunds, also contravening UK consumer law. There are also laws re online purchases here- they must be refunded upon return regardless of the reason for the return (but unworn and in perfect condition) that are being blatantly ignored.
Very dodgy, either amateurs or scammers. Either way, reported to the relevant authorities. Also, have a look at the good reviews... bots all over the facebook ads as well.
Don't waste your money here- poorly cut clothing and a returns process designed to convince you to keep items that are useless to you.
I'm really happy with the swimsuit I ordered. It's really well made and fit well. I intend on ordering another one because there are so many to choose from. And I want a dress or two, or three!
Pretty sure it's a scam or will take so long to arrive (even though it said shipped from a US warehouse) that it's no longer needed. They send a shipping confirmation that can't be tracked and when you question, by email, they say give us 5 days to investigate. They never do, dress was only 40 bucks (plus 10 shipping), but still ticks me off because I need dress for an event. You would've thought ordering almost 3 months in advance would have been enough time. Should've just done Amazon, lesson learned.
If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered two suits for a vacation and ordered both in the same size. Both XL. I received one XL and one size 2. Big difference. I emailed customer service because there is no way to return or exchange on their site. I have emailed back and forth for a week to just do an even exchange. No go. They wanted me to pay for shipping yet again and repurchase the item. No. This was their error and I shouldn't have to pay anything more. I argued that fact but they offered to send a new one, keep the old one and just pay $8. Again, no. I've already paid for the items and paid for shipping. They wouldn't even do an even exchange for items already purchased. I didn't even try on the size 2 as I couldn't even cover my right boob with both cups. Terrible service and will not make it right with the customer. Bad business and very untrustworthy. Look elsewhere.

It fits perfectly and, unlike most online clothing, or just clothes in general, they are honest with their sizes, even allowing a bit of space for normal under clothing.

Avoid this site. Sizing chart lies, phone number goes to a random elderly medical device service, customer service through email is argumentative at best with zero help. Do not waste your money with these people!
I recently purchased a dress from Retro Stage and upon first wear, it ripped at the seam on the chest area. Now, before anyone gets upset or decides to deride me, please look at the photos. I am not a 'well endowed' woman nor am I overweight where I purchased the incorrect size.
This is a matter of poor quality and poor craftmanship, where all of the stitching and seams are very weak.
I have sent an email to their service department as well. If they respond appropriately, I will be willing to update the review. But for now, Do not waste your money on inferior products made overseas in a factory that has no proper oversight.

I have had a very good experience with this store. The dresses have amazing design and cut that really complement my shape, the vintage-inspired look is paired with modern fabrics that are lightweight and washable and the price is very affordable.
They always provide tracking number for their shipment and it always arrived in great conditions, whenever I experienced delays they were responsive and helpful in either helping me to track the package or providing a refund.
I am in love with the original designs and the variety of shapes and colors that the shop provides and I cannot wait to show off my new cute dresses! Most of these designs are modest and can be worn at work too!

I ordered 2 dresses already and I'm very happy with them.
They are really unique and lovely fitting. If you want to have something special and be sure no one else in the room will look the same - Retro Stage is a perfect choice.
Waiting time may be pretty long, but it should be considered, when you are at the other side of the world, so I would advise to make an order few weeks in advance to be sure they arrive on time.
Answer: XL is a Uk size 14 you have to look at the measurements not the Uk and Us sizes as they are a bit out. The sizing chart is at the bottom of the page of the required item go by the cm, s or inches

Answer: It's coming from China and takes 60 days… they add a s"order shipped but it's not shipped… it's a scam sight. Call your bank and dispute the charges.
Answer: I would say yes, China sizes. I ordered 2PCS White Blouse Top & Suspender Pants - White / XL / 10~12 and the size was smaller than a 10, about an 8, but you couldnt wear the pants anyway, so doesnt matter. They list XL as 10-12 but i would still size down and with how the pieces vary greatly, that might still be false.
