Great service. All items were as described and even better than expected. Timely shipping. I am definitely going to order again. Just wish there was more makeup sales and free shipping when you order a certain amount like 75 or 100 dollars would be nice. However overall would recommend.
Item didn't turn up even though they stated delivered. Have kept me hanging on for a refund for 6 weeks now. Need to be reported as scammers!
So three packages out of 150+ orders were missing, they disqualified my address where is the safest place in the US. I contacted them for over 10 times, each time they asked me to wait for 3-5 days for over 2 months. Horrible customers service really. They said they would refund me but I have never received my money back. When I was trying to ask them more questions, they shut down the chart and stopped replying me lol.
Horrible!
I made a purchase of a YSL optical sunglasses, am a regular customer for how many purchases i made already in the past, but just with this recent purchase that i found out that is defective(feels like a fake one), so after 3 days I requested a return for that reason, and it made really mad and disappointed for they have no intention to refund me, they even said that the item is labeled as "final sale" and too many excuses after that, and mostly their replies are formatted not sincerely expressed. You guys, don't buy from this online store/site again and do not wish to experience the same.
Tip for consumers:
site should be honest, reliable, customer-focused and customer friendly. Please have the decency to refund your customer for items that are defective.those are hard-end money.

Interesting to see such negative comments about the site. I usually make at least a couple of dozen purchases from there a year. Mostly clothing and brands such as Timberland, Brooks Brothers, ASICS, Sorel, just to name a few.
A couple of purchases of higher quality wines. Four bottles for $100, when they are $200 at the store is difficult to say is a bad deal.
Most of the negative comments did revolve around jewelry and I have bought watches from them in the past and everything worked out well for us.
Overall, I would say give it a try and find out for yourself.
I used to be a fan of this website, and used to buy some great stuff here. Luxury accessories, clothes, etc. At some point, their blunders with all the crap they brought on that no one bought must have added up so much in their inventory that they are not limited in what great deals they can bring. Their "sales" and "luxe picks" and "steals" are all leftover, ugly crap that I see over and over again of unwanted items and brands. Meanwhile, they have picked up some shady practices to try to increase sales, with final sales no return policy, inability to categorize properly, which they may have thought would increase visibility on other unrelated, unwanted products (it must help with sales!), etc. The end result is a dysfunctional, unimpressive, borderline lying company with craps to sell and an unreliable customer service, let alone a company vision. This one is unfortunately toast, move on to something else.
Tip for consumers:
Don't bother, no longer worth it.
I'm really surprise of all the negative reviews because everything that I have purchase with Rue la la was and have been real and not fake. Real bags, great jewelry and skin care products. My only complaint is when it comes to getting a refund, you have to wait too long, like 3 to 4 week. I can admit, they are no QVC, HSN, Evine Live, etc. as it relates to getting your money back. Because of that, I will give Rue la la 4 stars.
RueLaLa advertised a name brand watch (Invicta) that retails for $795 but you can have it for $69. Check Invicta's website and the exact same watch lists retail for $109. The chat person told me RueLaLa uses prices that the retailer tells them what the item lists for. Caveat emptor, buyer be ware. I was not now I have to pay for the return shipping. When I tried to cancel the order they said it already shipped. I received an email the order shipped a couple days after the date they quoted me. Stay away from this seller
I purchased a Christian Louboutin sneaker from them on Jan 23. After wearing it twice, the CL Paris label fell off. I went to the CL store and asked for suggestions on which repair shop I can use. The store told me the sneaker is fake. So I called Ruelala. They told me it's over their 90 days warranty and there is nothing they can do (now is July). Lesson learned... this site sells fake goods. I spent about $800 plus tax, I should just buy it from Neiman and pay $200 more for a real one. Don't buy from them!

Long time major customer of RueLaLa - numerous shipping errors, wrong items shipped, damaged items, lack of follow through from customer service. For example; RueLaLa is placing a value of $120 on items that are picked incorrectly with an MSRP of $25. I unfortunately ordered three of these for gifts with different addresses. Only part of the order showed up. Every order is now an issue. It's exhausting to try to correct all of the errors. I'm deleting the app and looking elsewhere. I purchased about 250 items a year. Bye Bye Rue
Actually, there is no customer service. I have been on hold over 3 calls for more than 2 hours and 50 minutes. I have tried live chats but it never connected and have emailed customer service 3 times. No response.
I ordered a pair off pants but received a silk pleated skirt. Apparently they just like taking your money and who cares after that.
Be careful!,
Do not order anything on this website that says final sale. They do this on their fake luxury goods so you feel like you can't return it but since they have a 100% authentic genuine guarantee this voids their refund policy on fake merchandise. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against this company. I am actually going to look into it. It has to start with someone really pissed off and that is me!
Horrible company to buy from. Absolutely zero customer service if you have an issue, and I promise you that you WILL have an issue. They ship via Turtle post. Can take you a better part of a month to get your order. It's not worth the aggravation, shop elsewhere that's reputable and reliable... this place ain't it!
Knowing this website for many years back, and I just started to buy from this flash sale company. Surprisingly the shopping experience was not bad. Only thing to improve is the shipping can be tad bit faster. Skeptical first if the products are original, and it is! The price is really good comparing to others!
I will shop here again.
1- delivery took more than 1 month
2- no response to any of my emails regarding the delay
3- they call damaged product ((less then perfect)) although they don't know what is the product.
4- for a total damage product they offer 40% off, or a total refund if you do the whole process of refund ( printing forms, labeling, packing and dropping it to DHL)
Ordered a suit 8 days ago. They charged my credit card on that day. Delivery day was supposed to be tomorrow. Today I received an e mail saying my order is being cancelled. Seriously? It took 8 days to figure out that you were out of stock, but when the order was placed you had plenty in stock? Inexcusable! Beware of this shoddily run company!
I would have loved to enter the site, but it turns me off when not only is my email address asked for right away, but you can't enter the site unless you provide them your email. Let me decide whether I want a consumer relationship with you before you start constantly bombarding my email with promos and offers. Let customers check your site out, then you can ask for our email, but to prevent customers from taking a look just because we don't want to immediately provide our email is not very customer friendly. I guess I will miss out on shopping with you.
I ordered a "Brilliance New York" hairdryer from Rue La La. The original price was somewhere near $240. I got it for $39.00 PLUS 10 bucks shipping. This hairdryer is worthless. It says it has 3200 watts. My ConAir works far better than this. I am extremely disappointed AND there is no return on this item.
Pictures are not accurate, very deceptive practices. They used to be an honest company but no longer can trust their merchandise nor prices. I called to get more information regarding a product that I had ordered. They said they need to investigate? Seriously? Meanwhile I would be stuck with a item I didn't want nor could I return because its final sale! Done with Rue LA LA. Shame on your deceptive pictures!
My daughter put several items in her shopping cart with the intention of weeding the items out later to purchase a few. Rue La La shipped out 22 items worth over 2 thousand dollars that she never finalized as a sale. My debit card was charged for this. They have been terrible in straightening out this situation. Over a month later I am still waiting for over $500. There is some fraud involved here as the sale was completed at a time that was impossible for us to have made a purchase. Does rue la la need sales and therefore are taking advantage of people with cc on file by charging items in their cart without authorization? I am furious at the lack of urgency in helping a customer. BEWARE OF THIS SITE!
Too often (3/4 orders this month) rue la la confirms the order, takes a while to "process the shipment" and then sends me an email that they apologize, but the item is not available because there was some misunderstanding as to the inventory. I have only had this happen once with another shopping site, and they issued me a $25 credit, which rue la la does not. I guess if they did give $25 for every confirmed order that they actually did not ship, they would lose too much money since this happens more often than not (at least for me)! It's gotten to the point where I am not comfortable ordering from the site since I feel there is no guarantee I'll actually receive what I order.
I've been a Rue customer for at least five years. Over the past six months, Rue's customer service has been truly shockingly bad. I can understand a mistake here and there - but there's been a consistency of poor interactions with their customer 'service'. I dont think you can call it service because the issues never get resolved - though there's a bubbly email that's supposed to make it all better.
I love this site. I've purchased everything from rain boots to massages there, and everything was delivered quickly and accurately. When I've had a problem (rarely), they resolved it quickly and to my satisfaction. Good bargains and great customer service. UPDATE: The site now offers full refunds for returned items (less shipping).
This is my favorite sample sale of all. I love their selection and styles from the high to the lower end. The one drawback is that they did seem to have a hard time removing me off their mailing list as I was getting too many mails. But, finally did remove me.
I will never do business with this company again! I placed an order with them, which was sent to the wrong address, and subsequently lost or stolen. They lied about being able to recover it, gave me the run-around, and refused to give me a refund. Stay away from Rue La La!
Rue La La is as bad as it gets. They sent me a damaged bag, gave me the run-around for a week before sending a return label, & then -- from the time the bag was back to their warehouse -- took over a month to refund my money! I called, emailed, chatted countless times. Nothing helped except filing a dispute with my credit card, which worked like a charm. Save yourself a month of agony and just go straight to filing a dispute with your credit card.
I constantly have something wrong with this store, they can write off or block funds, just cancel the order, block funds twice, write off money in parts so that the bank does not understand what the client is paying for. The invoice is issued for $ 100, they write off 80 and 20, then 100 and stuff like that. Refunds occur in a month, so they just use the money for a month. I also bought shoes, they sent a pair of shoes of different sizes 8 and 10, to my question what to do they said send back, but as if they are far away. Instead of people there are robots, your question will be processed by 100 people, no one is interested in helping you, they answer with general phrases. My family and I have been buying from this store since 2012. We bought here for many tens of thousands, but what the store has become in the last 2-3 years is just awful.
