Except for having to charge the Battery 7 times not a bad lawn mower. I was just lucky that I own several 18V Ryobi tools and I finished my lawn in one day. Else it would have taken me 3 days to mow my lawn. Thanks for such a good tool. I was a bit skeptical about a battery lawn mower but not bad at all Wayne Perschbacher
I own about 7 Ryobi lawn tools. I took my mower to a repair shop (recommended by Ryobi) and it came back missing a tiny part--a small gray plastic piece that fits into the mower handle. I asked the shop if they found it and they said no. They also said they could not order it for me. I contacted Ryobi, they sent me a booklet and made me find and tell them the part #. I was promised 3 months ago that it was being sent and asked to rate the service. I gave them 5 stars. Well, turns out they lied and the part was never going to be sent. They told me today that they don't have that part and to go to the repair shop...folks we have too many negligent companies like this who commit fraud. I say enough is enough and I am never purchasing another Ryobi tool again nor am I ever shopping at Home Depot again.
It is so quiet, and powerful. I've had electric lawn stuff years ago, but they were under powered and useless.

I used the 18-volt trimmer a few times and now the cutter blade screw comes loose after very little use
Just used my new Ryobi bower on my back lawn blowing off the patio plus piling leaves. Works great! Plenty of power to do the job and lightweight.
We bought a 20 in 40 volt lawn mower. It worked amazing. This is our 6 th ryobi product we have purchased and we love them all.

II GOT a free tool when I bought a set of batteries. The blower was a little weak and loud. It does not meet my ryobi experience.
Just got it today and used it.It's light weight and worked awesome with low noise. I recommend this blower.
Less noise 59 decibels, a turbo buttom for high power, variable speed trigger and adjustable Handle for more comfort.
Great tools like. Drills, trimmer, pressure washer, hand saws, batteries lawn mowers flash lights. I have all those tools
This is a great Rotary for anyone who works/plays away from household power.
Has plenty of power to handle any need for it!
I ran a lawn care and used all of the attachments. Never had a problem with them. Weed eaters, chain saws, drills. Still buy them now.
Love all of the RYOBI TOOL
I highly recommend getting the stronger battery. It last so kuch longer. 18 volt. Very pleased!
I'm a 40+ year building contractor. I purchased my first set of ryobi battery operated tools sum at least 25 years ago. Three generations of tools ago. I still have some of the blue ones, and still going. I bought the first set around Christmas because it seemed like a great deal. Almost a disposable price, couldn't pass it up. Still have some, RUNNING!
I figured I'd give them a try. Used them everyday, dropped them, abused them. Kept running for the most part. So I started buying them for the crew because if they lost them, broke them, it would not be as expensive as the type everyone else was using at the time (less then half). Mostly good luck.
Now after 25 years I'm still buying them. 3rd generation green ( brushless).
I have the garden tools also for home. The 40v chainsaw is impressive. The only one I was disappointed with was the string trimmer.
I would, and do recommend these tools to friends.
For the price, good little tools.
Batteries hold up well also. I have well over a dozen 18v now, and 40v.
I just wish you would make more type of tools.
And if you want to send me some tools to try out and see how they work, I'm up for that.
Don't have many of the brushless yet.
Easy to assemble and working nice. Good product for the low price. Looking forward to buy more tools.
Light weight and powerful enough to bag grass. I am impressed.
Perfect for senior citizens and smaller yards.
I have a range of Ryobi 40V Garden Tools that are a real delight to use. The batteries last so long and they make these easy to use in any situation
The 18 volt string trimmer/edger was easy to use and easily cut down weeds and trimmed my lawn. It wasn't heavy to use. It was a snap to feed more trim line or increase the speed of the motor. I liked the foot pedal to rotate the device to trim the grass edge. The only problem I had with this trimmer was attaching the grass deflector. Even though I had carefully lined up the deflector to the bottom of the motor it wasn't easy to attach it because the deflector is pretty stiff. I screwed in two screws and I couldn't bend the deflector a little bit to add the last screw into the motor housing. I fiddled unscrewing the screws again and again but I couldn't finish tightening the last screw because the deflector isn't very flexible. I then tightened two screws just two turns and than carefully pressed the deflector down towards the motor where the last screw hole was and tightened the last screw about three turns of that last screw. I then went to each screw and tightened them a few more turns while pressing the deflector down a bit. After a couple of minutes I had all the screws in tightly. The housing of the motor is plastic so don't over tighten any screw that holds the deflector in place. The instructions to attach the grass deflector should be written to mention this problem as the deflector isn't very flexible. An engineer or a lawyer must have written it. It took about three minutes to attach the grass deflector and another minute to attach everything else. I really like this trimmer despite the assembly problem with the grass deflector.
