Except for having to charge the Battery 7 times not a bad lawn mower. I was just lucky that I own several 18V Ryobi tools and I finished my lawn in one day. Else it would have taken me 3 days to mow my lawn. Thanks for such a good tool. I was a bit skeptical about a battery lawn mower but not bad at all Wayne Perschbacher
I own about 7 Ryobi lawn tools. I took my mower to a repair shop (recommended by Ryobi) and it came back missing a tiny part--a small gray plastic piece that fits into the mower handle. I asked the shop if they found it and they said no. They also said they could not order it for me. I contacted Ryobi, they sent me a booklet and made me find and tell them the part #. I was promised 3 months ago that it was being sent and asked to rate the service. I gave them 5 stars. Well, turns out they lied and the part was never going to be sent. They told me today that they don't have that part and to go to the repair shop...folks we have too many negligent companies like this who commit fraud. I say enough is enough and I am never purchasing another Ryobi tool again nor am I ever shopping at Home Depot again.
DON'T! I bought one of Home Depots Ryobi gas-powered backpack blowers. I only used it for my medium-sized yard about 7 times a year. Two years in I started having all kinds of problems with it starting. I didn't even use it the entirety of the second season. I stuck it in the garage and the following season it still had problems(it wasn't getting a spark).
I replaced the spark plug, fuel filter, and lines. The year before I replace the air filter. I took it in to my local home depot only to find out that the "nearest" store that did repairs was 20 miles away. I live in a fairly big city so WTH.
Anyway, took it in and they replaced the switch, still won't start. The technician tells me that IT CAN'T BE FIXED unless the motor gets rebuilt. This blower basically lasted two seasons. What a piece of CRAP!
I recently purchased a Ryobi One+ 18 V Cordless Palm Router. I had never used a palm router before. I love the ease of use, and the ability to hold this router with my smaller hands. The dust duct for attaching my shop vac was a handy accessory. I can't wait to find another project to use it on.
I purchased a Ryobi 40v 20" self propelled battery powered mower and I love it. It's light weight, easy to start and easy to use. Got tired of my gas mower not starting every spring. No more buying gas and having repair bills to keep it going. I never thought I would have that much trouble with a Toro but I was sure wrong.
Last summer we needed an easy start lawn mower. We bought a battery operated one and it is so easy to start. Love it. This summer we just bought a whipper. The rep at Home Depot was so knowledgeable about the product. Gave us lots of info to consider and choices. Not a great selection to chose from in store though. We wanted it same day. But pleased with our purchase.

So I've owned ryobi from the first set I've bought almost all of the tools some are better than. Others, one tool I fond useless to buy but it works great is the handheld sewer machine. If it gets bent or needs replacing like any other brand u can replace with a new cable but not ryobi there isn't a easy way of changing them out. I have bough four of the handheld snakes and I like other than that and. I have bought a couple lights that just go out for no reason but I will say the new handheld flashlight is one bad light u can see two blocks with it at night, love it, six gallon shop vac is one of my favorite tools and the new packouts are great but would love not to have to buy a new machine everytime time just sell your own replacement cables and make a way to exchange the old one with the new one and make it where your cables are the only one that fits and works.
Thank u for your time
Timothy

Just bought my 18 volt Ryobi sprayer. So far so good. I pulled it out of the box and tested it and it sure beats the pump up method. Respectfully, James Hogan Note This was Home Depot order #WD*******. Payment was made by credit card Purchase was July 7,2021

I just purchased a brand new in the box set of Ryobi batteries and charger. One of the batteries never charged up or will take a charge. Did I mention that I bought this on E bay from a dealer with a +*******. It was advertised with a factory warranty of three years. I contacted Ryobi about a exchange and was denied. Victoria Thompson was the customer service person that told me that Ryobi does not cover third party sales. Total BS I own a construction company that buys 1000"s dollars worth of tools every year. I work major construction in Orlando airport and Sanford airport. I will never buy another Ryobi tool again. I will let all the trades on every sight that I work to never buy another Ryobi tool again.
Approx. 6 years ago I purchased a Ryobi string trimmer. It gave good service until yesterday when the pull cord broke. Having replaced many of these cords on power tools over the years I went to the hardware store and purchased a replacement cord. When I began disassembly of the trimmer to repplace the cord I found that near total disassembly of the trimmer was necessary to replace the pull cord, necessitating taking the trimmer in for service. This service would have cost more than 100 dollars which is significantly more than half the original purchase price. The pull cord is a wear part and like a spark plug, should be easily replaceable by the homeowner. This situation makes the trimmer a trash item, despite it's like new condition (excepting the pull cord) as repairs are overly expensive. Poor design. Poor customer service from their call center. I will not purchase further products from Ryobi.
I now have three RYOBI tools and enjoy using all three. The lawnmower was purchased two weeks ago and I really like it. I like not having to pull start it, quiet running and lightweight to push. We also purchased the RYOBI fan and used it often until our air conditioner was installed. We also use the car wash tool that was given to us as a gift.
So far a good product.

Was extremely simple to put together and to charge the battery. Operation of the mower was easy and I was surprised by the POWER it had. It surpassed by expectations as I had always relied upon a fuel operated mower. I am a convert to battery power, cheers.
I'm a 65 year old woman and the 18V pole saw, stapler and staple gun have made mending things on the farm sooooo much easier. I can even trim around my deer stand with the pole saw! Sweeeettt!
On 8/10/21 I ordered and paid by CC for a 40 V Leaf Blower. As of today (8/16/21) I have no communication from the company except my account mentions that money has been paid and my order is being processed. I have sent numerous messages through their contact page but none of them have been responded nor there is any communication regarding shipping etc. This company looks a fraudulent company.
I have requested my CC company to intervene and get my money back. BE CAREFUL.
Tip for consumers:
Do not be fooled by their 75% off sale. This company does not communicate after you pay the money.

I have previously owned a ryobi 2 stroke weed trimmer. Then in 2020 purchased a 4 stroke Ryobi trimmer. The other day i was in home depot and was looking at a 40 volt trimmer. I really loved the feel of it, it really sold itself. I had some concerns of the battery one would have the power to do the job. It came home with me and the assembly was a snap, I charged the 40 volt battery and went to an area of where there were some assorted weeds growing under the rail of the fence. It amazed me! It is light weight and does one hec of a job. I would highly recommend this tool be in your arsenal of tools. I am now anticipating the other tool attachments that adapt to the operating handle.
I am very happy with this Ryobi tool. Dan
I just purchased a 40 volt leaf vacuum. When I got it home and purchasing the battery and charger which was almost as expensive as the vacuum it's self. I was at all satisfied. The machine has plenty of power but battery dies way to fast. The machine is bulky and cumbersome when the battery is added it is very heavy. No shoulder strap is supplied to help off set the excess weight.
The feeder tube clogs very easily.
The collection is very cumbersome as well. It mounts under the machine and needs emptied frequently for my needs. The discharge for the bag is placed to fill bag under the machine.
Other vacuuming equipment I have owned discharged from the rear am was comparable with attachments for greater vacuuming capacity.
Further research needs done on this unit and some redesign. I have man Ryobi tools and have influenced several others to switch.
This tool gets my thumbs down. It will be going back to the store tomorrow I assure you. Sorry Ryobi!
Just purchased a Ryobi battery powered lawn mower. After frustration of gasoline mower not starting after sitting all winter, thought it would be nice to have an electric motor that just needs power and away we go. Spent $599 at Home Depot (model RY*******) and thought it was a good deal. However, after using it for last 2 days, piece of junk. It took twice as long to mow my yard (about 3 hours) due to having to go over the same area at least twice. Cuts bermuda grass easily, but anything thicker, mow over twice. Easy to handle, stores well, easy to charge, but does not cut as well as gasoline powered mower. Sorry, but this battery powered mower has a long way to go to match the cheapest gasoline powered mower.

I am a homeowner who purchased a Ryobi P2803 electric garden sprayer less than one year ago. After using the sprayer for about two months, the on/off plunger switch (under the handle) began to constantly get jammed. Ryobi will not replace the unit and expects me to drive half an hour to a service center to have them look at it and see if they can repair it. I was told by the service center that the repair could take several months, depending on the part. This is not what I paid for. I will purchase another sprayer from a more reputable company and deposit my Ryobi in the trash. My recommendation is DO NOT BY RYOBI TOOLS!
All tools of Ryobi can use the same batteries and makes it very convenient when working with different tools on jobs.I will continue to use these tools and buy more different kinds that come available.Thank you RYOBI.

The trimmer is excellent, well balanced and easy to use. The assembly was very simple, the automatic plastic trim string works very easily. P, the refilling of the trim string is the easiest I have ever used.
I bought a cord type because of price the recharge battery style I didn't feel confident in the technology.
The one draw back is it is heavy with the motor located at the top of the trimmer it also gets hot.
Good machine otherwise.

Two years ago I purchased a Ryobi 40 volt lawnmower. I liked it so much I bought a 40volt string trimmer. Both are still working great so yesterday I purchased a 40volt leaf blower I mow about 6-9 lawns a week and they have never given me a moments trouble. Oh ya I also have 3 extra batteries glad I don't have to buy gas now!
I had difficulty with a battery powered chain saw. The support team went above and beyond to help me and make sure I had a good experience with this tool. Thanks for all your help and having true customer service
This is my first cordless mower, all my previous mowers being gas powered. I will never return to gas. As my old mower was not functional, I had not cut the grass in weeks. It was high and thick. I used my new ROBI in mulch mode, and on the lowest height setting, expecting it to have trouble and need a recharge part way through the job. I was amazed to find that it truly does have gas-like power, and it completed the entire job on one charge. No gas to store in cans, and way less noise. This unit is sturdily built, attractive, easy to manoeuvre, and stores upright in a small space. Couldn't be better.

1. Good powerful battery.
2. Followings need improvement.
A. Need improvement on bigger holes, big clearer indicators for new trimmer lines to insert.
B. Tougher trimmer lines.
C. Allow trimmer base to touch the ground; therefore, tougher base needs to be constructed.
D. Since the trimmer is so heavy, need shoulder strap.

I just purchased a 40 volt grass trimmer. I just finished using it and it works great, very quite compared to my old gas trimmer and I don't have to spend 5 minutes getting it started. No more spilling gas filling a tank or the hazard of gas tanks in the garage.
Would like to see the wand a little longer say six or eight inches longer so you dont have to walk around bent over i will be 79 saturday so it would make it easier to spray
Can not send a picture dont have a camera to do it just arrived yesterday
