I received my order within the work week. Setup of the Fabricator sewing machine and table was very easy and straight forward. I'm mechanically adept and I'm not new to sewing. The Fabricator's very slow speed functions like my Jeep Rubicon - Slow, smooth, and easy in the rough, with a top speed that is more than sufficient. The ability to crawl slowly prevents mistakes and reduces breakage and down time. The servo motor does it all. I have used a clutch driven sewing machine and it reminded me of an old motorcycle with a suicide clutch - scary! The Fabricator sewing machine with the Servo motor is a trick setup. My neighbor repairs and rebuilds boats. I will be doing some of his upholstery work and I also have jeep tops to repair.
I order a stack pack sail cover kit from them, in the kit it was missing the one inch webbing. I emailed them and they started a claim, but then nothing happened. Emailed again and no response. It's not an expensive item I'm missing, so I just bought locally what I need, but the lack of customer service disappointing.
I had been looking for this particular material and couldn't find it at several different companies. When I came across your website and found it I cheered! Thank you! Will be ordering some more material in the future.
Sailrite always gets it right. I've been using Sailrite before and during pandemic. I see reviews of slow service. Please look at the dates and realize that was when we were in our most ambiguous times with Covid. Patience is the price we pay for family-owned companies.
Have not had much chance to test drive but did do 3/8" thick webbing stack hand cranking monster wheel... piece of cake, initial impressions very favourable. Ruggedness of machine reminds me of Piper Pawnee aircraft I fly to tow gliders... yes, they are both built like tractors! Two parcels making up order came extremely well packed. UPS experience was interesting... Company seems to have an amazing air carrier element and ability to pick up parcels from suppliers but, due to Covid 19 and resulting high customer demand, delivery end is clogged. Received about 20 status e mails from UPS, with changes to delivery dates.
I needed to replace our redwood swing set canopies. I had lots of questions, sent an email, and received a prompt replay. Could my home sewing machine handle the Sunbrella fabric? What needle & thread should I use? What about binding? The shipment arrived in timely manner. And the project is going well.

I was well pleased with the online ordering system. I do wish there was an option for amending an order. After placing my order I realized I had left off an item, and had to email Sailrite and ask that my order be cancelled and then start over.
The products ordered were packaged separately in plastic wrap which was nice. The quality seems very good.
