I returned a purchase to Saks and received an email that it was received by August 6. When I called after two weeks I was told that I would not receive my money for 30 days. A new policy that wasn't on their website. Unbelievable and unconscionable!
I was trying to place an order on a Friday and my transaction failed twice, using two different credit cards. Both of my cards got charged due which a large amount was put on hold. When you call or write to them, you do not get a satisfactory response and try to shift the blame onto you without realising that it is their payment gateway that caused problem at the first place. They say they will release my held charge after 10 days, which makes no absolute sense since this issue was not caused by me.
I bought a dress with a hole on the left shoulder and did not notice it until I tried to wear it yesterday. Since it's a little past the return date, I contacted customer service and asked for store credit since the price tag is still attached. They refused, and I was so upset! Shame on you for selling a defective item! Both Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's have much better return policies and longer return windows. I am so disappointed. I'll never shop at Saks again!
I have been buying from Saks online for years among other luxury retailers. Of course during the pandemic you can expect certain level of disruption in order and return process. I understand. But what I don't accept is pure incompetence and absolute disregard for the customer. I returned several items more then 1 month ago. They acknowledge my return, but just would not post credit to my account. When you call them they are performing the same routine every time, they open various investigations with no result. And you absolutely can not get to talk to someone who is in charge. I strongly suggest that unless you can take the purchase to the store, don't expect to see you credit in your account any time soon.
I tried to buy one simple item online. Two different credit cards were rejected with a message saying the order could not be processed and to call an 800 number. The 800 number didn't work after hours. So... Umm... Guess I'm not shopping here... Ever
I placed an order last night. I called this morning to see if I can change the size. After half an hour with two different ppl which both were rude and cutting me off, they couldn't modify or cancel my order. If it was in transit I would understand. Otherwise this is just some bull$#*!. Now I will have to pay for shipping to return the order! I guess they don't care about losing customers.

Horrible customer service! I've been waiting for a refund that was approved early January and like so many on here I constantly get the run around with nothing being done. It's like they play games with people money when it's time to return it, but when it's time to pay for an item they want it immediately! Horrible I'll never buy from this trash company again.
I have never ever experienced the worst customer service in my life as I have with Saks fifth avenue. The customer service agents do not understand nor are capable of acknowledging an issue and drop the calls when they cannot assist. I have been calling and waiting on hold for 50 minutes. This is been going on for an entire week of calling. Very frustrating experience and The most unprofessional company I ever dealt with. Saks should be ashamed. Their reputation at this point is meaningless,, and I will never shop there again. Agents are answering the calls with just a plain Hello. Unacceptable service on so many levels.

I made an order on Saks Fifth Avenue, they created the shipping label, and said the product has been shipped out, however there's only created the label, tracking label had no more updated, i contacted the shipping company that they never received the package. I contacted Saks 4 times, the customer service personnel confirmed it was their issued, however refund never happened. Been keeping my money for almost 2 months, no response. I think they are having a serious financial problem, will never purchase again and would not recommend anyone to shop.

I purchased through Saks Fifth Avenue, and the whole process including customer service is really bad, ignorance and unwilling to help. Won't purchase again, and encourage you not experience the same thing with me.
Every time that you place an order on Saks, you can be sure that there is going to be some kind of problem. Canceling your order, delaying in shipments, sending poor condition item and charge you for the return fee and the shipping cost (if you want to return it), etc.
And when you complain to their customer service, they don't do anything about it except saying 'SORRY'! Their service is really annoying and frustrating. I will never purchase from them again.

I was hesitating before buying a Helmut Lang dress on final sale in online store because of the bad reviews, but surprisingly it was an amazing experience. The item was shipped the next day, in 2-3 days with free shipping I got the dress in a very good packaging and it's exactly the same as on the picture. This is my first purchase ever at Saks and I'll be back for more online shopping!

Do NOT go to Sacks Fifth Avenue and buy ANYTHING like a belt! I bought my belt for my birthday. Went in to get it cut to size was told." Oh we don't do that ". When the sales lady said they did. NOT to mention the shade I felt from my own when I was in line. Sacks employees you NOT all that because you work in the Louis Vuitton section of a department store!
Absolutely worst experience. Still no customer support. Customer support is located overseas and they don't even do anything. You are not connecting to corporate office in New York. Stay away don't shop here.
I got a $450 card with bad numbers on it. I try to use the card and I get invalid or expired. I have written so many emails and tried calling with HORRIBLE customer service... The money shows in my account but it's impossible to use and is about to expire. I am wondering if its a scam! Never had a store totally ignore a problem like this! Maybe they are going out of business.
Saks took more than $2000 off my credit card when my original total was only $1000. In total they took away $3000 from me. Very awful. Do not order from them. Customer service made me wait on the line for one hour and disconnected me afterwards. The agents are ignorant and disrespectful. I would sue them.

After placing an order and calling them to apply the latest promo, customer service cancelled my order and I lost the dress I wanted for my son's wedding. After speaking to 3 customer service reps and a supervisor (all off shore) nothing offered but a sorry we can't help you. He made a mistake.

I spend a LOT of money online shopping with Saks. I had one issue, waited for customer service online for 25 minutes they answered and disconnected me. Called again, the person you are talking to does not speak English very well. Mind you, it was not an expensive item but it came defective, the earrings would not clip (hoop) and I bought it for a wedding for a specific dress. I tried to wear them but they kept on falling off. I honestly don't know if I will shop online again with them because of customer service. Now the earrings are on sale even cheaper!
Do not shop here! I ordered an item online and it arrived missing a belt and smelled like someone's stinky perfume. When I called customer service, after many unanswered emails, they agreed to give me a price adjustment with the suggestion I go find a matching belt since the item was sold out. The next day I received and email I would not be getting a credit after taking many factors into consideration? Wtf does that even mean? DISGUSTING.
I ordered shoes and got wrong ones. Called customer service and Natalie got it corrected and by the next day I had my order. Very fast and easy process. I ordered a pair of Gucci sunglasses. They were too big and I returned them (generated online as instructed by Saks)just to find the huge box without cushioning inside back on my porch. Now they had a little scuff where the glasses fold and that's not how I returned them! Called customer service. They told me i should have taken pictures before returning sunglasses (what?), but okay, I HAD pictures on my cell with the time stamp (took them to show to my friend).They started investigation and sent me an email stating the FedEx will pick the box up and the refund will be issued in 10-15 business days. BUT I got the box yet again in a little over a week with the note: "No refund will be issued. Hope you understand." No, I do not understand. I did everything on my part. It was a $830 dollar purchase that I did not like. Do not trust Sak's return policy or better yet do not trust Saks.

Do not make a mistake, don't order online. Saks' return policy is not what it states to be online. There is no communication between Customer Service and their distribution center where the merchandize is returned, so why bother calling customer service? They are nice and apologetic, but it does not change the outcome. It's a big scam.

Saks Fifth Avenue your customer service is non-existent. I earned a $750 promotional gift card. No one thought it important to let me know that it expires within a month. I just went to use it and was told sorry - it's no longer worth anything. I called my store. I was told a manager would get back to me. No one returned my phone call. I am furious! I was told sorry for the inconvenience. Inconvenience? I lost $750! I will be sure to re-tell this story everywhere until they reinstate that card. Saks Fifth Avenue

Sick of waiting for an update. Chasing gives no help. The order status still says it will ship by 3/20/22 (one month ago). When I speak to someone at Saks they say they don't know when the supplier will ship the item to them so they can fulfill the order.

I had to call 7 times To customer service just to get my gift card balance back after saks canceled my order because of inventory reasons. What is no one and sex that can help me. Customer service is useless as it gets. All they tell me is the department that does the gift card are internal and I cannot speak with them. It's been over 2 months and I'm on the phone with them again. With the prices that Saks fifth Avenue charges, maybe they could spend some of that money getting some knowledgeable customer service people to help their customers. Waste of my time and money.
