Just ordered a ladies velvet jacket that was valued at 588.00 on sale for 145.00 Iam so happy right now, not only arrived on promised date the fit is perfect and looks amazing on me. Will definitely buy again and tell my friends. Talking about looking fabulous to work.
I returned a purchase to Saks and received an email that it was received by August 6. When I called after two weeks I was told that I would not receive my money for 30 days. A new policy that wasn't on their website. Unbelievable and unconscionable!
I purchased 2 dresses online and returned both two days after receiving them. I could do the return online for the one dress, but the other dress showed as "not shipped", even though I tried it on the night before. I called and they e-mailed me a label so I could return it. Low and behold, the same $700 dress showed up at my house a week later with a note stating the dress was worn and could not be resold. If it was worn, then they sold me a USED dress and I've been fighting with them for over a month to get my money back! First they could not send me a label because one was already printed. That went on for a week. Then they said to just leave the package outside for FedEx pick up. No pick up was scheduled. I finally got to someone who actually scheduled the pick up and they package was received by Saks over a week ago. I am still waiting for my refund. On the phone waiting for a supervisor and they girl just told me they sent the dress back again! Beyond frustrated!

I ordered a pair of Stuart Weitzman boots on clearance. Saks off Fifth uses some unknown deliver service, CDL. I received email of delivery but package was no where to be found. I called Saks Off Fifth customer service several times, promised a call back which was never received.
I live in a safe, gated community. There was no photographic proof of delivery. I checked at my front door, backyard deck and garage. No delivery.
I disputed the charge with American Express. Suddenly, CDL confirmed delivery. I have to file a police report and challenge non-receipt of order. I will NEVER order from Saks Off Fifth again.
They have horrible customer service with no follow up.

My online order was lost in transit and arrived extremely late, well after I needed it. I contacted Saks numerous times, first by chat given that I am hearing disabled, and then I was told I would need to call despite my impairment. 3+ hours and numerous representatives later, none of whom cared that I was having difficulty hearing, I was told that a return will not be authorized because my order was final sale. While I understand the concept of final sale, I expected my order to arrive in the estimated time frame, not several weeks later. This is thoroughly unacceptable and a great way to lose business.
Do not pay for their expedited shipping! The 2-3 day shipping to the tune of $20 has failed me numerous times. When you go online to discuss with one of their robotic customer service reps, you will just get the run around and "I'm sorry for any inconvenience". I would think that Saks might want to reconsider using the USPS for any of their fast shipping needs.
I'm shopping for outfits for my wedding and as a result, have been ordering and returning a bit more (sizing issues, quality issues, etc.). Granted, the items purchased are typically $600 - $1200 and I keep about 25% of the items ordered.
Saks has been great about the return process and granting my returns UNTIL recently. They've effectively banned my account from shopping there - when I go to my cart after adding items, it says "error". It doesn't show the error if I'm logged out.
This is a frustrating experience because it's not MY FAULT that the products ordered were not the correct size... there was a dress I returned but wanted to order again in the bigger size, but they ran out in the bigger size! What am I supposed to do if the inventory is bad and I had no option but to return?
Despite the website promising duties and taxes paid I have been billed £72.00 duty and tax for a £168.00 item... their website is both misleading and the view order functionality does not work. I cannot even view my order. Customer service is extremely poor - I had to wait 10 minutes for the chat to come available and despite 2 emails noone update me on the delivery times. Avoid.
Don't trust saks fifth avenue, especially for the back order. They didn't deliver it on time and never told you any updates. They didn't feel sorry for any inconvenience they gave to you. Go to other stores. Their service isn't matching their luxury price.

Worst customer service ever! They shipped to my old address, said they did a 'thorough investigation' and will not refund! They are CRAZY. I've been an online customer for a few years, and suddenly, after their mistake, they've not only stressed me out, they've kept my money. Awful company!
I only wanted to order a bag. Their website and app were down so I call them to order a $1600 bag. They screwed up my address. Cant find the bag. You cannot even speak to customer service, they disconnect you, no help at all. Shocking they are still in business. I will never shop here again

I ordered a few things for my girlfriend to make her a gift to her birthday. But it took literally forever to deliver it. So I ended up walking into another store and buy another clothes and those which were delivered after her birthday I had to pay for them too. The thing is do not order here something if you need it quick
Not receiving item. And when I checked back the investigation progress I found that my account got deleted. The most ridiculous things is I can even create an account with the same email address but the order history gone. Purchase proof gone. They're not going to do anything.
I recently ordered a sweater from SAKS and they sent me something totally different! So I returned it but turned out it was sent back to me and claim that was not the one sold by SAKS?! HUH? They don't even know what they are selling? They sent me the wrong item in the first place and claimed that was not something sold by SAKS. I contacted customer service ************** times but NEVER get an answer! If they have video tapped at the warehouse, they would have known what was packed!

I created a return shipping label and send it back.
For two months i did not got any response from Saks Fifth Avenue.
Then i received my package back, with the note that the they are unable to locate proper proof of purchase.
That was in August 2020.
Since then after a lot of phone calls and promises to solve the problem, nothing was resolved.
The customer support is not knowledgeable and does not care.
At this point i am giving up.
I got charged for something I didn't order and called immediately, rep couldn't care less, told me to call my bank said she couldn't see the transaction. Two days later I get send a broken necklace I didn't order and called again, one manager hung up on me, the other told me to send it back with fedex and maybe in 7 days I'll get my money back for something I never ordered.

Buy from anyone else, seriously any other store will have better customer service than Saks.

I purchased several items online as a birthday gift for a friend and noticed they could not be delivered via online tracking. I phoned Sak's support and they informed me the items I ordered never left the warehouse. Hence, Fedex wouldn't deliver an empty package. Sak's confirmed the issue and instead of re-shipping the items or crediting my account they stated they need to launch an investigation which will span 2-3 weeks before any action can be taken.
Sak's support staff are nice, but powerless to help. I've had to call my credit card company to get the order refunded. I'll be doing my shopping elsewhere and implore those reading the other horror stories on this site to do the same. Sadly, I'm scrambling now to find another birthday gift. Thanks for nothing Saks.
Having placed what looked like a genuine order on the Saks website followed up with a confirmation email, the following day I received a email saying that Saks cancelled my order with no explanation. Furthermore, the item had subsequently sold out. After contacting customer services, I can only describe my experience as a huge waste of time and that the service from Saks representatives was extremely bland and unhelpful. They tried to say that all overseas customers are experiencing order problems (not exactly reassuring!), but after reading other reviews I think the stock record is inaccurate and orders are accepted when the item has aleady sold out. Either way, it is totally unacceptable! If the website is being run like this, then it reflects badly on Saks as a whole. Looking at other reviews, this is not an isolated incident. Saks definately have issues and don't seem to care what kind of experience the customer has!
I've probably spent close to six figures on your site. I placed a simple order for just a few hundred dollars weeks in advance for a Christmas Gift. Now I see an email stating "we canceled your order" for no reason whatsoever. Payment was made with a gift card so no excuses or reasoning behind it. I call and wait on the phone for 30 minutes and this is exactly what the representative stated "If you would like, I can have someone call you to explain why it was canceled." instead of "we're so sorry, we will ship the items". The guy could care less these are gifts. I will sell the gift card and never shop on your site again. Good luck staying in business with this type of unacceptable service!
I will never buy from this company again. I ordered from them in December 1999, returned some items right away. A month later I was told I would receive $413.18 credited back to my PayPal account. It has been 27 month of phone calls and promises yet I still haven't received it. I have spent hours, probably more than 100 contacting their service team over the last two years and every time I am told I will be given the credit within ten business days. I have spoken to managers who have assured me this time I will receive my credit. To this day I still have not. 400 dollars is a lot of money to me but I am at a loss of how to get my money back or at least a store credit.
I'd expect more from this company - be Aware and don't shop here!. Information on the product details on their website are incorrect and I purchased Fendi shoes with the wrong size - customer service is also bad as they couldn't tell me what size it should be. You are waiting for your money back at least 14 business days and hope you will get them as I still didn't get them! Stay away
Ordered a bag and paid additional to have it gift-wrapped for my mom. Ended up receiving the bag bare in the box it was shipped in. No paper wrapping, just the bag. Contacted the customer service, and they just left me on read until I asked where they were. Considering how they sell luxury products, you'd think customer service would be top-tier. Wish they invested in their customer service.
I placed an on-line order with Saks on 11/7. It was acknowledged the same day and I was told I would be emailed when my order was despatched. Having heard nothing I asked about the status on 11/12 and was told my order had reached their despatch center the previous day. Then nothing. After sending several further follow up emails I was finally advised on 11/19 that my order had been "lost" and that I would receive a refund. No apology. No "we are sending a replacement". Nothing. A dreadful service which should be avoided at all costs. Not worthy of the reputation Saks enjoys. I am furious.
Ordered a 900 dollar stone island jacket off saks fifth avenue online store and they sent me the jacket without the patch (badge) that goes on the jacket sleeve. Now it's going to take a month to get my money back. Absolutely ridiculous. When spending that much money on something you would think everything would be in order. That's not the case. They promised to check with Fedex which they never did, they never updated me on the progress, each time I had to contact them and finally they said there would be no refund or resending the item.
So, dear Saks, you have a very bad rating here. Maybe try to be at least more customer-oriented.
1. Update your client if there is an issue or you claim you opened a case. The customer will feel you do something.
2. When I called you the first time I never asked for a refund, just to check with Fedex the status (which you never did on reality), you were the ones who started talking about a refund So when you promise something people start to expect it from you and then they will deceived.
P.S. Personally I won't buy from you just because of your attitude.
Today I went to Saks 5th Ave., Tysons, VA, and I had a horrible experience. I had a few gift card that I wanted to use & the lady that helped me started to help me & kept on helping other customers at the same time so she won't loose the commission from them. It took a good 45 mins to just order a top. When she came back after half way helping me I told her that she is too busy helping me & at the same time another customer maybe I should go to a different sales person. She got mad. I also had a few gift card that I wanted to use. She got mad because she had to check each one to see if there was any money on it. Very poor customer service. I will never go to Saks fifth.
Ordered on 12/28, have spoken to 3 CS agents. The last time I spoke to someone was 1/14. My package has not arrived and there has been no update since the 10th. The agent is starting and investigation and the refund will take 10-14 business days to receive. Up to 3 weeks! I work for an online store and am able to open a claim and refund an order within the hour. I know $100 isn't a lot of money to them but this is terrible customer service.
