I returned a purchase to Saks and received an email that it was received by August 6. When I called after two weeks I was told that I would not receive my money for 30 days. A new policy that wasn't on their website. Unbelievable and unconscionable!

I purchased a gift for my friend, and it takes FOREVER to delivery. During a month, I called customer service like 30 times, but they NEVER kept promise for delivery date! If you don't want to get your items until death, DO NOT SHOP in Saks website.

Trying to purchase birkenstock sandal@ Milpitas location. When the cashier Manuel asked if I need to purchase a bag, i replied yes. Then he pull the smallest bag. I requested if he could give me the bigger one. He said the store has no bigger bags, they run out of it. I pointed out that there's a lot of bigger bag hanging there. He said they short stock, he couldn't give it to me. I asked if if it different price, I don't mind to pay. He said couldn't give it to me. Keep insisting no stock. What kind of answer is that, when you can see clearly that theres full of bags hang there. I canceled the purchase even I really like that sandal. Evennthe other cashier associate just smiling. When I asked if I can speak with the manager, both of them said there's no store manager onsite. I won't shopping there anymore

This is a reliable place to shop for designer clothes at discounted prices. I have shopped here on many occasions, and I have always been happy with the items and customer service.

TRASH. Save your money. They sent me $340 pajamas and they came with rips in them. I returned them and they sent them back. Then I reported theme to the BBB and they ignored my claim so it expired. So I disputed the charge with Chase. Chase gave me my money back, then took it out of my account again because Saks told them to. So many people tried to help me but the distribution center put a lock on my account so I couldn't be helped. Been so stressful... All bc I wanted to treat myself to something nice.

Everything arrived damaged, wax from candles everywhere - along with broken glass. Still waiting for FULL refund and it's been almost a month1

Products used:
Was never able to use products - sent EVERYTHING back because of lack of understanding of the customer service (it is simple math). Have shopped online for years - this has been worst experience ever. Almost 30 days since items were received by company and STILL waiting on refund of full amount.

I ordered an item for my friend and needed to exchange the size. They do not provide exchange policy so I had to place a new order and return the original order. Saks fifth avenue charged me a shipping fee for two orders, which I asked for first order shipping fee refund, I did get my refund for the order but shipping fee of $9.95. And Ive been calling everyday since 2 weeks ago, every rep is just telling me just wait, and keeps informing me different things. Doesn't even bother to look into the order number and as soon as I said refund, every single rep I spoke to sounded annoyed.

I am in a huge disappointed at Saks Fifth! How do you not have exchange policy when you guys are charging shipping fees for all orders? So does this mean, I need to place new orders with shipping fee every time I needed an exchange?
And to be quite frank, as long as they refund my shipping fee in timely manner, I have no problem placing new orders for exchange.

But everyone seems like all representatives are all over the place.

It's not about the amount of shipping fee. It's about how tedious the process was. And here I am still on line with customer service and telling me that he doesn't see any of record showing my refund was processed or requested.

This is extremely frustrating and stressful.

I bought a Valentino bag online last May which I never received due to their mistake of putting a wrong zipcode and they promised me another shipping date on June which the rep said the item was lost so she said I will be receiving a refund which until now I haven't received, tired and wasted a lot of time doing multiple calls to this company, I bought my item directly to the store. I don't know when I'm gonna receive my money, they promised me again till next wk for any updates

I'm sorry I have to give Saks as a whole 1 star. I love Saks, believe it or not I've been shopping there since I was about 16. I got my first job because I took a liking to high fashion and I wanted to buy Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry, etc. I got my first credit card at 18 with Saks and thankfully it helped me build my credit to A+ or perfect now at the age of 26 I can buy anything I want. Anytime I need something quick I know Saks will have something I love. Unfortunately my opinion of their customer loyalty has changed. I recently bought a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses and they were sent to me broken, the lens was completely missing. Now there is somewhat of a twist... it was tax free weekend when I purchased them. They will not replace or exchange the sunglasses, only return them. If I return them, I will be forced to spend the $30 on tax I saved. It doesn't seem like it's my fault they were incapable of checking to make sure they were in perfect condition. There is nothing they can do for me. It would be devastating to not shop there, everyone is always nice and helpful to me. I know if they wanted to, they could do something for me, but what drives me crazy is that never have the offered to send me even a lens. One last thing on top of that is that their return policy which is stated on the website says, if you do not like your item they would replace it. This is a poor business strategy, lying to your customers.

I ordered a pair of Carl Haan knee high boots and after weeks and weeks of waiting a small a parcel arrived with a pair of oversized jeans.
I tried their contact website as their agent was offline. An auto reply telling me a case has been created and someone will contact me within 24 - 72 hours. To date no one has contacted me despite several followup messages. I have already written off my $300.
PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT SHOP WITH THESE PEOPLE.

I placed an order two weeks ago for two items, they only sent one item. I called right after I opened the package, the customer service said he creates a case number and I should receive the missing item in few days. After nearly a whole week passed, I didn't receive neither any email confirmation, nor the missing item. So I called back again to check the status, the customer service said that he can only refund me the cost of the item WITHOUT tax, and I will need to replace the order if I want the thing.
It's the worst shopping experience I've ever had from a luxury store. Even the small boutiques can do better then Saks, the customer service is also in a very arrogant attitude, he sounds like I made up this situation. They don't feel apologized for the inconvenience they cause for their customer. And of course they don't offer compensation for the extra cost that their customer has to paid for their mistake.

There are so many other luxury websites in the world, most of them ensure you spend money happily. Unfortunately Saks is not one of them, if you don't want to spend money for getting frustration, avoid Saks.

I got a dress on sale then that horrible place charged me 2 times online, I MUST HAVE FOUGHT ABOUT THIS FOR A MONTH THEN WITH HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT IN CUSTOMER SERVICE 3 managers should be fired! Horrible they even promised a gift card and of course it never came! THEY ARE DISGUSTING! I am calling Better business bureau on them the only people helped me was my own bank to get that charge Removed NOT THERE DISGUSTING COMPANY SAKS FITH AVE SHOULD GO OUT OFF BUSINESS FOR THIS! They rip u off AND STEAL MONEY FROM YOU!

Returned pants 4 weeks ago from Ontario. SAKS cannot tell me where this shipment is. ABSOLUTELY USELESS. They don't answer emails and every call takes 60 minutes to get no information. Absolutely useless Customer Service. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I will take this review down if I get my refund. FML.

7 Months of chasing Saks representatives to secure refund for merchandise returned! Over a period of 2 months I ordered many dresses trying to find something suitable for a wedding. Besides receiving merchandise I didn't order was returning merchandise and Saks receiving center not processing all the returns. Repeatedly I had to provide tracking numbers, and even then securing the credit refund was delayed. Constantly customer service would say 5-7 days, someone else would say 14 day, another rep would escalate that would add another time frame. Eventually I disputed the charge on the credit card so that interest and late fees would be avoided as I was making minimum payments for merchandise I didn't have. The grand problem was a dress I ordered in 3 different sizes. All 3 were returned separately. Credit issued for 2 but one dress went missing valued at $895 and after dozens of calls to Saks customer service I emailed Saks corporate and 2 different "Ambassadors" responded. Incredibly they both had wrong information and there I was again giving a timeline of facts and proving the return. The whole experience was beyond frustrating with so much time and energy spent correcting their mistakes. Incompetence at Saks Fifth Ave is a level I've never experienced. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

I am so upset! I ordered two items for my husband's birthday, house shoes and boxers! Received the house shoes. Was informed the rest of the order would be delayed. A whole month later I tried to ask for a refund... An online chat representative said the order had just been cancelled "the day before" and to give it ten days. Another 3 weeks later, and another representative, they said it was refunded and it was not! $50 for nothing! Now I can't even get a response! This is absolute crap and for a store that is given so much hype is pathetic! I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND WOULDNT GIVE THEM THE TIME OF DAY FOR ALL THE FREE MERCHANDISE IN THE WORLD! This is not how you treat people!

I bought some Ferragamo slides and paid premium shipping so it would arrive earlier since I was supposed to take it on a trip with me as a gift. The day I was supposed to get it I checked the tracking info and it said it would arrive 3 days later! I called customer service and the manager said there was nothing they could do about it. Later in I received an email saying I was getting a refund which I didn't ask for so i was confused on if it was still arriving. I went to a physical store in order ti get someone ti help me and they said they didn't even know if I was still going ti be able ti receive my products. I was later on able ti speak to another customer service person and he said my product was still going to be delivered to me, they just refunded the premium shipping I had purchased. Later on the same day I put the tracking number in FedEx and it said that they haven't even received the product itself! Now I'm empty handed and won't be able to give a gift. VERY disappointed. Will never buy here again.

I ordered a pair of Burberry leggings and Saks shipped me a completely different pair of pants. I returned them and they sent them back to me saying they wouldn't accept the return. Several employees at Saks accused me of trying to return a different pair of pants like I was the problem. Please record yourself opening the box if you do shop at Saks because they literally asked me for proof that they had shipped them to me. I think their shipping department must be scamming people and I paid the price. Luckily my bank believed me and stopped payment to Saks. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Cancel orders for reason and agents are all liers they will tell you the payment didn't go through then cancel your order again. Trash company. Don't waste your time and money on it.

Never order online from #Saks Fifth Avenue! They will send you sale merchandise that is DEFECTIVE and refuse to respond to your emails! You can call them, you can email them and it will be impossible to return defective merchandise! And forget about getting defective merchandise REPLACED because they "do not have the capability" to replace or exchange defective merchandise! I have voice recordings proving this as well as one email response I actually got! Out of 5 emails I send, I received one response telling me this. #SaksFifthAvenue has the WORST customer service I have encountered in at least 15 years! Do not ORDER ONLINE... only in person where you can see the merchandise, if at all!

I did not receive my full order. I ordered a three month supply of the LYMA supplement, but only received a ONE MONTH supply. I have contacted customer service multiple times, but they keep stating they cannot issue a refund. I DO NOT WANT A REFUND, I WANT THE ACTUAL PRODUCT that was listed on the site. This is beyond absurd for being charged for a full three month supply, and only given one month. I am extremely upset about this and will never order from Saks Fifth Avenue again, I will also file multiple complaints and reviews about this.

I have been shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue since the 80s and I have never ever experienced such bad customer service as I did this year. But, my nightmare was with Alterations. I was part of a wedding party walking my brother to the Altar and Saks did such a horrible job on an easy three steps alteration that I ended up looking like I was wearing slippers as the hem was cut too short. The stress was unbearable as I had to return the dress several times as they forgot to alter the right side of the dress. The second time I brought it back as the hem was cut in a zig zag, only to find out they made the same horrible cut. After the wedding, I took it back as the confection on two easy seams was very poor; the hem will stay as is as it will only shorten the dress further. I was reimbursed half of the $150 alteration fee, but now can't believe I paid them to ruin my $1,245 dress! I don't even want to remember the stress I was subjected to, but it's a constant infuriating reminder whenever I see the pictures.
