Terrible Service!

Bought a pair of shoes for my daughter, they sent me the incorrect shoe size. Associate tried to get me the correct size from the store as it was sold out online. And the wanted to charge me twice the price (I said excuse, me you messed up the ordered and wanted to charge me twice the price?). Could take several weeks to get the item they said so I checked on the status 3 weeks later, and apparently the order had been cancelled. No one bothered to let me know. I could have ordered a few sizes bigger as those were available online.

Ordered a pair of shoes on the 16th with rush 2 day shipping. As of today I have yet to receive it. I used ShopRunner which gives you 2 day shipping if your sign up with them. However as you can see from this review, I haven't even received the product yet. I was told that the 2 day shipping is actually after the order is processed. It was showing processed for 4 days before i get an email from Saks Off that it was shipped. Nope it wasn't. On friday last week it showed that label was only created. Emailed both Saks and ShopRunner. Saks only had nothing but useless sorry's and an insulting 10% off my next order. Did they expect that I would ever order from them when their customer service was apathetic and unhelpful? If you plan on paying for that 2 day shipping make sure you don't need it for the next week and a half.

Return sent July 17. Called Customer Service 6 times for status. I was told they received the return on July 31 and now it is August 15. I was told to wait to receive a decision from the "back office" about my refund. I was also told I could keep checking back. Oh yeah, call number 5 told me my return was missing and they could not do anything. DON'T SHOP HERE!

Dishonest bill your credit card for items they never originally had in stock and then they put holds on your credit card and refuse to remove them. Cannot speak to anyone that speaks coherent English when you ask to speak to a supervisor they hang up on you! I will be cancelling my card!

I don't think customer service could get any worse. Purchased a green handbag in June. They shipped a hot pink one. Called CS to make an exchange- she said she'd check availability and call me but she never called me back. I got a return label and sent it back. Their facility received it on 7/10. They said it takes 14 business days to process a return! I emailed on 7/30 and after 2 days they replied to say the credit is still not processed. Now it will now take 14 business days for them to research the problem - bringing it to the end of August! I posted a complaint on their Facebook page. They removed it but never contacted me to help solve the problem. I filed a dispute with American Express so at least they now credited my account. Purchase from this site at your own risk!

Purchased a full suit two and a half weeks in advance of a wedding I was attending and it did not come in time. After being on the phone numerous times with their customer service (waiting 45min), the information provided was vague and misleading. When I received the suit instead of the advertised $1245. 77 of the suit, the initial price of the suit on the tag was $800 and crossed out to the reduced price of the suit online. Overall, save yourself a headache and do not purchase from Saks OFF 5th, I'm sure you can see the rage from other customers as well.

I purchased a sweater which was sent to an old address I had on my account. Someone took the package to the local store and asked them to mail it to me. Which they were happy to do so, I was told. Instead they mail it to the warehouse. In interim I called again and someone said they will make sure will be sent to me once will get to the warehouse. They did not. So 3-4 weeks later apperantly they will refund the item which now is sold out and cant be reordered and will take 10-14 business days for my cc to get reimbursed. Im terribly disappointed and frustrated.

I was billed close to $500 for a Roland Mouret dress on sale ordered online from Saks Off Fifth, but instead received a Mint dress (never heard of the brand) in terrible condition and not even in my size! When I tried to return the wrong item at the NYC location, they would not accept. Even though on the order summary it clearly stated customers can simply bring the form with the items to the store for easy, free returns. It is extremely misleading to put that in writing if they are not honoring their stated return policy. It is NOT the customers fault that wrong items are being sent! I shipped the wrong dress back with their label provided. Theyd better be prompt with the refund and not charge me with the shipping fee, or I am ready to file a dispute with my credit card company. Customers should not be penalized for Saks Off Fifths mistakes. And their customer service never replied to any of the emails I sent. I took multiple pictures and documented the whole process, in case there will be issue with my refund. Bottom line... its best not to place online orders with Saks Off Fifth, from my experience it is not worth the hassle and frustration.

Purchased a pair of shoes and wore them 4 times to my office. The leather on the toe of the shoes started to wear through so I called customer service. I sent the shoes back to Saks with an explanation. They sent the shoes back to me with a form letter which said" I had worn or altered the shoes and therefor they were not in saleable condition.". When I subsequently called customer Service I was told if I would return the shoes to them they would see if they could repair them. So instead of trying to fix them the first time I sent them they sent them back with a stupid non-responsive form letter. I will never shop at Saks again. I really do have choices who will listen and give me fair service, like Nordstrom's.

I recently purchased a handbag online with Saks. Within 3 days a large hole appeared on the side of the bag. It was clear this was a defect. I carried a purse for exactly 3 days before the hole appeared. I spoke with a customer service representative who sent me a return authorization. After three weeks with no communication and no credit, along with three unanswered emails through their website I was finally informed that since I used the purse I would not receive a replacement or refund. It was very obvious that the stitching missed the leather on the portion of the seam of the purse. I explained this in detail and sent photos when the bag was returned to me. It took another two weeks and two more emails to receive a response. The responses were rude, dismissive, and not up to par of a high-end store. Ive been shopping at Neiman Marcus and Last Call for years and thought I would give Saks a try. Needless to say Ive close my account with Saks and will only be giving my business to Neiman Marcus and Last Call. Their customer service, merchandise quality and overall experience is far and above that of Saks Fifth Avenue. Buyer beware.

Poor service

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and when they arrived one pair consisted of 2 different sizes. The box was marked size 10 and one shoe was a 10 and one was a 9. When I called to complain no one cared. They were then out of stock online. I returned them to a store location and they did not want to take them back because the sizes were different. I explained that a rep. On the phone told me I could return to a store so after talking to the manager they did refund me. Poor service all the way around from inaccurate product ( which no one noticed) to poor service on the phone and at the store,

As much as I love Saks Off 5th, they are horrible with deliveries. I purchased merchandise online on 6/5/2018 and was promised 2 day delivery. Well today is 6/12/2018 and I still have not received my merchandise. Also the store in Brooklyn does not honor the same sales that they offer in New Jersey or anywhere else. The staff in Brooklyn are very unprofessional. They think working is a big joke. They laugh and joke with each other and ignore the customers. I guess to them the customer is not always right. What has the country come too.

Tried to purchase a shirt. Shirt had more than one price and the clerk rang up the higher price. Assistant manager did not attempt to take any responsibility for the error - even suggested the price had been tampered with. Next time you're in the store, check how many items have more than one price and be prepared to pay thei highest price and be treated badly. I choose to shop at businesses with integrity, and to be treated with dignity and respect. I choose not to shop at Saks off 5th at Opry Mills

I bought a fur vest on sale. It took them forever to ship it, but they charged my card right away. When received it was knitted (it wasn't in the description) and it had a bald patch. Had to returned it. I have submitted a review for this product on their website, but you can't see any reviews for any products at all there.

They have received my return on April 30 ( I have a tracking number). Yesterday May 21 I called them to find out about my return status (I still haven't received my money back). Guy on the phone said it will take 7-10 business days to investigate it. So it's been 3 weeks plus another 2 weeks maybe more. And we are talking about $400. Worst experience ever!

I ordered a dress online which was on sale for $480 and in a few hours, got a cancellation notification saying my size is not available.

The next day, I check the same dress and it shows availability in all sizes but at a full price of $995. Their customer service over the phone was horrible and very rude. I wrote a negative review on their website and they never published it.

The worst experience and unethical business from a company that claims to offer luxury goods.

Little appreciation for the customers who shop there is shown. Most of the staff are in the backrooms somewhere. Most of the staff have delayed communication skills, cant answer simple questions.
Lots of misinformation about sales, promotions and rewards.
Prices are expensive. You have to catch a sale but good luck finding out when or getting the proper coupon. Its almost as if they don't want too many people to know about the sale.
Very little staff, unknowledgeable and don't really have customer service skills, not great manner either.
The staff treat you as though you are being done a favor by the store existing.
Its a shame because the inventory is interesting but after a while, you get tired of the lack of appreciation and get turned off.

It's always a pleasure shopping at Saks OFF 5TH. Their discounts can be as deep as 80% off. My husband once bought a Boss tuxedo suit for only US150. High-end products at great prices!
