I have never had an unpleasant experience at the Sam's Club in Roanoke, Virginia, but today I had a really great experience in their Optical Department. The ladies there were both pleasant, knowledgeable, thorough, and extremely helpful. The price I paid for my new glasses was quite competitive. My wait time was quite short. Overall, I'm glad I decided to visit Sam's today. While I'm at it, I'd like to mention that I had a problem with a Sam's.com shipment several months ago. It was delivered to a wrong address. Their online customer service folks were also helpful, even though the problem was FedEx's fault. Many customer service reviews I've read for Sam's are negative, but if you look at the big picture, Sam's is doing almost everything right!
I bought a PlayStation 5 from Sam's club and their membership expecting to get my console for my birthday but when I called to check on the delivery date 5 days after I ordered it found out that Sam's club canceled my order for no reason checked my bank and the bank had approved and set aside the funds to purchase the PlayStation 5 Sam's club told me to go in and reorder but come to find out that they're out of stock and it was complete waste of time and their call center is filled with a bunch of idiots that aren't really good at speaking English
I just renewed my membership for $110 so disappointed thing so high won't be buying alot of things from there anymore only GAS.
You want bad service from management? That's the place to go, you will be abused by management. Corporate is not better, the CEO Kathryn Mclay could be compared to the devil, no customer service attitude, customers are trash for them.
Frozen food section shrinking.
Stopped today to get their large bag of mixed stir fry vegetables. Now under sign that says vegetable was fruit. They used to have great selection of frozen everything. Now not so. Off to Costco I go.
Would never buy again in a trash store like this, corporate supervisors are a waste of human being they fo not provide service, Sam's is worse than trash, don't buy there
Went to the Brooksville Fl store it was getting late so I purchased a rotisserie chicken and some mac & cheese. I'll drive all the way home the rotisserie chicken is raw I go back to the store and they offer me a refund or another chicken so I told them I'm not leaving without them taking the temperature they check every chicken on the heater was 150° or lower. None of them were fully cooked so I went home with no dinner and no apology. Wonder how many people ebt home with people undercooked smh
Amelia, who is a checker at the Logan Utah Sam's Club is a wonderful asset to your store. She went out of her way to help me. She is always smiling and very positive. I wish we could have more people like her in the service industry. Thank you for a great experience tonight.
My first day as a memeber in Sams club store in Miramar Florida. This is unacceptable I asked for a product that was in display and Brought the product to the cashier to ask if they have it in the back, manager Diego said no we don't have it you should come next week, I was in shock they took the product and put it back in display again I asked why you put it back if you don have the product there was a lady on the line telling well Diego the manager should give you half price inmediately he asked if they have more and bring the product, she told me to shut up because he thought I was screaming and I wasn't! Finally out of the sudden he brought me the product regular price! My question here what's happening in this country!
Después d mucho tiempo decidimos tener la membresia del lugar y llegamos pedimos un producto q estaba en displace y nos dijeron q no lo había después d hablar con el manager q nos dijo q no había, y q no podíamos tener lo q había en displace. Lo mandamos a llamar y hubo q decirle q lo trajera y mágicamente apareció. Es increíble q en un lugar como este sea más importante tener las cosas en displace q venderlas. El manager vino nos dijo q bajáramos la voz porque reclamar un derecho es q se levanta la voz, la verdad q creo q nunca más regresaré a este lugar ni lo voy a recomendar al contrario y quisiera q alguien m dijera cómo puedo hacer q m devuelvan mi membresia. This is unconcerned of Department I have ever dealt. You buy your tires from from them but you can't get them on the phone to schedule an appointment for rotating your tires. But Sam's you need to hire someone that will be able to stay and answer your telephone if you want people to buy continue to buy tires from you all. This is poor business ethics I know I'm Not The Only One have complained about this problem are you just don't care some people don't live 5 minutes away and it's just stupid for you not to answer your phone I would never buy any ties from you all again and then when you call the 1-800 number to make a complaint you get a people who do not talk English and they just transfer you right back to the store this crap. Anyone having this problem please write a review. I wouldn't even giving y'all the one in this department I guess you have to put something but far as I'm concerned you a zero. I have been trying to call for 2 to 3 weeks and can't get an answer. That is containing the stores in Huntsville Alabama both stores you can't get an answer.
Long time was good but no anymore customer service not helping people worker they are rude they dont like to help there is nothing to buy nothing in stock everything missing i just jump to restaurantdepot

I have been a Sam's Club member for a long time. The main reason is I bought in bulk for school concessions. Buying in bulk worked so I bought for my business and home. They have raised their membership prices as well as their product prices. I've done the math- buying in bulk is not the best way to go. Their prices aren't any better that the grocery stores so why go? Their staff from check out to service desk to trying to leave the building are rude. A huge disappointment after all these years.
Absolutely disgusting! I just discovered that the almonds I bought at Sam's club have a blue piece of plastic in the sealed package. I'm returning it tomorrow, but I do not want to buy anything else from them ever again!

I have been a customer of Sam's Club for over 13 years. While I was always satisfied with the experience of shopping in store, unfortunately, I made the mistake of attempting to make an online purchase. I have so far spent about 6 hours with online chats and dealing with customer support people who are obviously overseas and not in the U.S. After spending 5 hours on these idiotic chat sequences and not getting the situation resolved, I went to the local store and spoke to the Member's Manager. She was extremely helpful. She notified me that there was an unknown person who had got onto my account with a name very close to mine. This tells me that my account was hacked. I had her remove that name from my account. Because someone had hacked my account, I changed my email address. It took 3 days to get the email address entered! Apparently the computers don't work on weekends. I tried to get the email and online ID changed and it took almost 3 hours and the only thing I could accomplish was to change the email address. I wanted to change my online ID but was kicked off the online chat bc the person i spoke to had too many chats going on at the same time and it timed me out. Long story short, I have over 7 hours invested and have finally got it straightened out. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO DO ONLINE SHOPPING, GO TO AMAZON - SAM'S CLUB'S SYSTEM IS HORRIBLE! I WILL NEVER BUY ONLINE AT SAM'S. If you like their meats or dairy products, go to the store, but if you want online jewelry purchases, go elsewhere!
We don't pay for a membership to get bombarded by someone trying to sell me something I don't want to buy anything other than what I pay for my membership. Y'all taking advantage of seniors really! And FYI Just energy sucks so avoid at all cost!
If I could give a negative review I would. I was issued a card, was happy, given a credit limit. Have been making my payments on time, logged in and found my credit was reduced by $100, no notice given, called customer service and was told they could not tell me why it was reduced. Very rude agents, will no longer shop at Sam's. Check your produce as well, fuzzy strawberries
Went to my local Sam's club gas station for gas on 10/18/22. I used my debit card to purchase $14.03 in fuel. After doing some other shopping at other stores and returning home I used my bank app to check my account balance. To my shock and surprise, I find that in addition to my fuel purchase there was an additional debit in the amount of $100 as a preauthorization debit. I called my bank and was told that they do thus often and should credit after 72 hours. Well, in the meantime, I have a few autopays coming out of my account for a loan and my car insurance. I had to shuffle money from my wife's account to prevent an overdraft on my account and added fees. It's now 10/21/22 and still nothing credited to my account. This leaves my short for food and necessities to get us through until my wife next payday.
WARNING: Do not use a debit card at the gas pump! There is no warning at the pump about this practice.
I will be contacting my states Attorney General today to file a complaint. This should not be happening.
Worst gas station in antelope Valley, minimum two pumps are out of service on daily basis, and the working ones are very slow. Lake of maintenance, and care. Complained several times to managers, but they are usless and helpless, they just answers ya we know, the lines goes all the way to the parking lot and no one care...
