On 9/27/22 I purchased business membership. When I got the receipt they charged me for two. I had to go through a huge hassle to get them to remove one.
Then I went in today to order coffee and they told me my membership expired. Nobody could help. I had to call because it was sent to their specialist team. When I called the recording said they were going through an emergency and couldn't take my call.
Huge scam.
Crazy thing is when I got home from work my dad had told me he went to Sam's club with a friend. He paid with his credit card and noticed they added a membership to his order. This is fraud.
This is completely illegal to charge our credit card for purchases we didn't authorize. We can't be the only ones.
Please be very careful when purchasing anything from sam's club. They're shady ah.
Dont join their plus membership unless you spend min. 100 dollars a week there. It is a total scam for the common shopper. They had a promo and conned us into upgrading to plus. We lost a 45 dollar gift card and ended up paying 55 dollars for the plus membership. Had we stuck with basic membership we would have had a free year membership
I enjoy shopping on the Sams Club site sometimes, since it is much easier than walking around there store with a big cart, and hauling your things home! But recently, I had a Credit Card Fraud occurrence from my Sam's club account. Someone accessed my credit card number from there and began ordering Sam's club things to themselves across the country! They unfortunately for them, did not change the email address in my account, and I began receiving shipping notifications for products I didn't order! Luckily my credit card does not hold me responsible. So I removed my credit card stored information from my account and I recommend everyone does the same--the site does not seem secure.
Last year, Sam's offered an upgrade from my standard card to a Plus membership for a dollar, so I said yes. Today I tried to renew it back to a standard card and they said,"Oh, we can't do that because we wouldn't know if it was someone else trying to use your account". This is a lie because they will let you upgrade without going in. Don't go to Sam's club.
I went to sams club Fullerton to become the new member. I showed them $45 on $45 offer that they said they cannot use because there was no 5 digit code. I asked them there is no such requirement but they said they cannot help and they are aware of the issue but never raise to higher ups because that's none of their problem. I asked to talk to the supervisor who came to talk and straight up told me that the doesn't want my attitude when I asked how can he help me become the member today and get the $45 offer right away. I don't think I would ever go to sams club after this experience.
The TV worked for nearly 3 years after the repair. Suddenly, wavy horizontal lines, I contacted Visio for guidance. They request some screen prints to evaluate the issue. There eventual response was that it was not cost effective to repair the set. To h. L with Visio, I replaced it with a Samsung. Bottom line, given today's technology, a device like this should not be too expensive to repair at nearly 5 years of age.
I purchased a Visio 50 inch TV (E500i-A0) on 12/01/13. I also purchased a two year service agreement. On Christmas day 2014, the unit began cycling on and off. It will stay on for as long as an hour but usually only will stay on for 2 to 10 minutes. I called Sam's that morning. A very helpful technician named Angle led me through Visio's troubleshooting steps which did not help. He gave me the telephone number of their service provider "Square Trade". Since it was a holiday, they were not open. I called them on Friday, 12/26. While opening a claim, I was informed that they were not the party responsible for servicing my TV as they had taken over the service in March of 2014. They referred me Auserion. I opened a claim with them and was given a claim number and told that a third company "Service Center Team Inc" would be contacting me on Monday the 29th. (That's 4 days without a TV). As of 5 PM on Monday, I had not received a phone call from them. I placed a call to Auserion's Sam's Club Line. The agent told me that Service Center Team had called an left me a voice mail. NOT TRUE, as my VOIP provider keeps a detailed log of voice mails received, as does my cell phone provider. I was also informed that the Service Number that I was given was not valid. The agent provided me with a new number. This after I had tried checking on my ticket at SC Solution Center.com as instructed in Auserion's telephone greeting. I was told to check for the new number at "RMAlookup.com" Each time that I talked with an agent, I explained that the TV needed to be fixed by January 2 for important personal reasons.
Bottom Line, I have been 6 days without the constant use of the TV. Oh yes I can get from 2 to 60 minutes before the system either recycles itself, or quits entirely. All of this has led me to the following conclusions:
1. Don't By Visio Products
2. Don't By large ticket items at Sam's Club as their service providers are extremely poor.
I am seriously considering not renewing my Sam's Club membership as there is also a Costco in town.
They delivered the wrong bed and frame to my disabled brother. I tried to get them to send the correct frame and/or change out the mattress for over two months now. This was suppose to be a Christmas present. No exchange. No refund. Nothing! I have spent countless hours on the telephone and emails to try and get this fixed. They keep telling me I will receive a call for the pickup of the wrong merchandise... The call never comes... They stole my money ($1500) -- not including -- delivery charges. This is the worst company ever! Do not buy anything from SamsClub.com. I am now having to get an attorney and sue them to get my money back.
I will never order tires from Sams in Fairlawn again. I order a set of tires on 11-04. They said 3 to 5 days delivery. I also purchased the install package. After 7 days and no call or emails I decided to reach out to them. Called multiple times to tire department and was disconnected both times. Called customer service with no help. Was told only 1 person was working and they were busy so call back later. So I logged in account and chatted, no help. So on 11-29 I had enough and called Katz tires. Ordered the same tires that Sam's couldn't get. Tires on my car 2 days later. I didn't even have to pay for a membership either. Sam's needs to stop taking orders for things they cant fulfill.
I made a mistake on my order of an expensive item. I contacted them within an hour to cancel the order. There was no button online to cancel; the instructions both at their automated call-in phone and at the help center were wrong. The representatives (even their supervisor) would not cancel the order. I contacted them at the chat to complain; was told to put in an email. The email allowed only a few hundred words and the response? "Check with the help center". Within 24 hours they shipped an item that I will have to ship back AND since the item was to be a present for a special occasion, I now have no gift to give. Never again.
Sams club recently instituted a scam and basically a price gouge of plus members get to shop at 9 instead of 10... this has nothing to do with CoVid 19 but instead a way to sucker customers into a plus membership. I had your card for 6 years and I am going to Costco. At least they don't lie about things!
Purchased strawberries, raspberries, grapes and mushrooms from Sam's. Put the items in my refrigerator when I got home. I was going to treat my grandchildren when they cam over the next day. When I began to was the fruits I noticed mold on the grapes that were on some of the grapes and the ones on the bottom were rotten. The raspberries were also bad. The mushrooms did not look fresh in the middle of the package. I don't think that Sam's inspect their produce before it is put out. Boxes are piled on top of boxes.
We have shopped for more than 30 years at Sam's club and but of the cashier were rude, they very much understand how hard people work and I also work very hard but I'm very disappointed. You ask nicely and they respond rude. Two sides of the story but it was just not a good day to shop at Sam's Club, the one located at Buckner and 30.
Called to cancel my membership because they withdrew $100 from my account for membership fee that was $45 in the past. They told me I had to go to nearest store which is 50 miles away or accept a $100 walmart card. They withdrew from my debit/credit card but will not refund to it.
I ordered $100 worth of merchandise to be delivered. They delivered it to the wrong location then said it was my fault. This is not my door. If you deliver something to the wrong address you refund it or deliver it again to the correct address. You don't blame the customer.
At the Nicholasville Kentucky store (in the store), a representative at customer service desk stated that I would get special rate of $25 for membership. My card was charged 45. I contacted 1 888 number and representative stated that is not possible. Made me feel as if I were not telling the truth... wonder if it is too late to cancel? Not a fan of this bait and switch tactic.
Only having 1 register open that takes cash is not good service in my opinion! We had a $250.00 purchase to get but only 1 regester open to take cash! The line for this 1 register was all the way back to the clothing! Please do better! I really enjoy my sams club shopping! We left without our products because said line was so long!
Sam's club will send an email letting you know that they have already automatically renewed your membership. If they can send that email they could send you an email in advance letting you know they are going to automatically renew your membership. Especially now during these hard times. Some of us are not rich. But the Sam's people do not care about the low-income. They advertise their membership as $ 45.00. My auto-renewal was $49.70!
I called the home office. That was a joke. I've learned my lesson. I'll never buy another membership card. I will never shop at Sam's again. If you are going to shop at Sam's you need to know your prices. Most stuff at Sam's is higher priced. Including the bulk packages. But of course, if you are rich like Sam's people you don't care how much stuff costs.
We don't pay for a membership to get bombarded by someone trying to sell me something I don't want to buy anything other than what I pay for my membership. Y'all taking advantage of seniors really! And FYI Just energy sucks so avoid at all cost!
I am a member of Sam's Club and I am extremely disappointed with my membership lately. We are all being advised to stay home and be safe. Sam's Club has made it impossible to order anything online for those of us staying at home to get our essentials like we did before COVID-19. They only allow in-store customers to get essentials like: paper towels, toilet tissue, disinfectant sprays, etc. This is so unfair because a lot of us can't go to the store or don't feel safe going out.
Sam's should make sure their in-store and online customers are able to order supplies as needed.
I don't see the need to keep my membership since I am not able to buy what I need online like I use to.
Sam's Club took it upon themselves to charge $45 on my credit card for a membership renewal. Without my permission or notifying me. Created a fire storm at my end. 3 o'clock in the morning receiving text messages from fraud protection. Next morning emails and phone calls from my credit union regarding fraudulent charge. Took a while to figure out it was Sam's Club. Needless to say I canceled my membership and never got my $45 back

Answer: Call the local store speak to Store Manager who will identify the problem
