The brand names are limited. But as long as you know how to shop, the choice of products is adequate. No deli. Meats were good. Candy and snakes left much to be desired. But the staff could not be better. They were above and beyond. Every single person jumped to help. I mean the whole store. One girl came back to me saying she found flour torritoes in stock if I wanted them, I said hell yea. They were very clean. Just perfect, not like shoprite. They do not even change their gloves, or wipe all the services your food touches.
I brought milk twice on 12/12/24 and both of them was spoiled so i took it back and they gave me a hard time. My kids could got sick from the milk from drink you have really watch you expiration date. I will never return back to the store again selling expired milk who know what else expired

Just made some dinner for my family with S.A.L. Chicken n none of us were interested after after a cpl bites. There is no way in the world it was just that. It cooked different, it tasted...ugh like chewing rubber bands. Save a lot used to b a great store, but these days...I think I'd rather starve if their chicken is any reflection of the different stuff they sell than what they've offered in the past. The last couple years changes in brands and products seem to b a waste of trip as it is, let alone the downgrade in 'staple'products now too.

Every time I shop at store 249 in Cheltenham the cashier is always on their phone. The store is not what it used to be, no greeting, bad customer service, smell terrible and after paying for a bag the cashier tells you 'I don't have any go get it from the next register '. I learned my lesson the third time never shopping there again.
The current sale advertises a full size oval seedless watermelon for $3.99. When you get to the store what you find are these little round watermelons which are half of a watermelon. This is terribly false and unethical advertising. You're getting 50% of what you're supposed to be getting. Shame on them

Your store in port nerves manager needs to go she's rude lazy you have a recycling bin for cans and bottles and every time I go there its closed when I ask if its going to be open she always say no or its not working
Save a lot on castor Ave hires people that don't comprehend English and they don't know how to ring up purchases even when people are trying to explain it to them. The guy I had this morning just thought he knew everything but had no idea what he was doing to the point they lost a customer
I have been going to the in Zephyrhills on 5th Ave. For years now. Lately, Things are not the same and prices have been going up on most of the items!. The other main issue I am having is that you see one price on shelf and the cashier scans it and charge you a different price" more money".
I was getting upset and frustrated, every time I had to go back to the store to ask for a refund!
For Example, last time wanted to buy Tuna and price tag says. 99 while it scans $1.59. So Talked to manager of the store about this issue. He explained to me that the new management are not changing prices on shelf accordingly from the head office!. Told the manager that New Management are doing bad Business! And They are going to lose customers like me!. I would never go back there anymore.
They put a roll of brown paper an some unidentified cleaner if you want to clean the cart after you put. 25 cent like Aldi. Aldi is always crowded but clean. Publix still cleans the carts and has the cleanest stores in town.
For over a month there was a leak from the ceiling, which is 15' - 20' high dripping in to a 55 gallon grey trash can. It was disgusting. This was in front of their meat and pork selections. You could smell the decomp of the meats. I refuse to buy anything but bananas and one canned good label U actually recognize. It is third world. So awful.

The stores are bad enough, now they spend no telling how much on THE WORST commercial on TV.
What a trashy way to represent your business.
It's degrading to the people, the theme, and most of all he stores.
There's nothing fun about it... it's ridiculous.
Who are you trying bring in with this hip hop crapy ad?
Can't believe you waste corporate dollars on this type of junk.
Class it up a little!
Our local store is used by me quite often. Although they don't have absolutely everything I need and I do have to make a Walmart run about every 5 weeks to get some items, I am so glad our Save A Lot saves me from the crowd and overspending at the big chain store. Our Save A Lot has polite and helpful employees who work hard. Our store is clean and well organized. Produce is fresh. I do admit that the only meat I won't buy there are any cut of steaks. I've tried different cuts a handful of times only to find them tuff and chewy. I've leato stick with a local butcher for steaks, as in you get what you pay for. But the beef roasts, pork, and chicken have all been wonderful from Save A Lot. I've been going there for so long that boxing or bagging your own groceries was it! Like Aldi. But now the cashiers bag your items like any other grocery store. I sure hope our store stays around for years to come.
Bought Stack'ems! Original potato chips. Canister. Got home and opened canister. Carefully dumped out all chips. Every chip broken in pieces. Not the first time this has happened but it is the last time I will buy canister chips from this store.

I just went to save a lot, my favorite store, a new guy on register, didn't even say hi to me. When I went home I saw my receipt from the store. I was charged 6 blueberries instead of 2. The 6 was amount $17.94, it should have been $6.00 instead. And he didn't want to even talk to me, didn't even ask did you find everything you wanted to buy. Today at 13:11, cashier name was deaundre. On register 2. I didn't have time to go back there. Had other things need to do. I was always happy going there, now because of this I might not be going there. Plus I took a Pic of receipt so you can see it.
Save a lot store in spring hill dr is terrible. Cashier was valerie #0005 at 10:28am and she was very rude to me. She was talking to the old guy in front of me for a long time and I wanted to pay for my stuff and leave. I got aggravated and sat a $20 on my stuff and she just gave me a look. I sincerely hate this save a lot and bunch of homeless people hang around here. Slow $#*! cashiers and even though they have 4 cashier lanes there is only 1 lane only open. I rate this save a lot a 0.
Went for the first time today we bought 7 bags of salad mix all 7 had a foul smell

Half of the customers and a male employee were not wearing masks. I asked a female employee. She said we can't tell them to wear a mask. I was a regular customer until now. It's certainly not worth the risk.

I do not like Save A Lot. The food is not that fresh, especially the meats. One of my friends keep trying to convince me to shop there but I don't listen to her. I want good, quality foods and Save A Lot fails to deliver. I saw some of the meats and they didn't look fresh at all. I never go there again!
Inexpensive place to grocery shop. Not many name brands, if you are into that. Just don't buy BOGO or "Two For" produce. Every time I have it is usually just shy of rotting (potatoes, onions, apples) or picked way to soon and under ripe as to be uneatable (cantaloupes, watermelons).

Store clean and associate very polite. The shelves is always stocked. The store was remodel they did great job. When they are out of stock I always ask when next truck shipment will arrived they are always able to tell me.
I can't stand Sav a Lot, put a quarter in the cart and bag your own groceries in a card board box.
How degrading to shop here, the prices are not even cheap shop around and you will see you find Lower prices at a much nicer store with much better freshness and quality food.
They are ripping senior citizens off and people who pay with food stamps, the store is a scam!
They don't even have Self Pay, the lines are horrible and the employees are hideous.
At the Dayton Ohio Save Alot on Gettysburg Ave I have been threatened several times. Several women employees seem to be on a vendetta. Threats of Physical Harm by Customers and the Managers who clearly think they can ask others to stab a person in the parking lot. I'm disabled I weave when I walk due to Paxil and bad leg, Every time a vicious comment is made. Today it was taken her in the back and hang her. I inherited some money so I've shopped for food often I couldn't use to afford. This Store has made me fearful, full of anxiety, scared I feel the Women should be fired.
Tip for consumers:
The Death Threats should be Criminal
The manager (Jenn) at the Florissant MO store at 468 N. Lindbergh is always very nice and very helpful. She should be commended. That store always seems to be well run. I've never had a bad experience at that location.
