Ordered a Dell LCD / touch screen was easy to install but touch screen does not work. I followed the instructions from the agent online at screen country and uninstalled the driver for the touch screen and now I am unable to find and reinstall the driver.

Either my dog, or I put enough pressure on the top of the laptop I had to break the screen. Probably me. I had already made arrangements for getting a new laptop because mine was 4 years old and running Windows XP.

Because I like to repair things, and the only problem with this laptop was a broken screen, I decided to see if I could safely remove it ( only realizing later that there are plenty of model-specific hoe-to instructions on the web). So, after I realized that dis-assembly would be relatively easy, I looked online to see if the part was even available. Price being a factor when repairing an older computer, I decided on Screencountry.com. One thing I liked about their site was that the picture of the screen was not generic. It was a picture of the actual screen. The other thing I liked was that they provided the instructions for dis-assembly and re-assembly of the unit, though I already had it dis-assembled. I got the correct screen. I had it reassemble in a half hour (and that was being super careful, and checking everything over numerous times). Worked immediately, with OEM screen detail. Cannot complain at all. I have replaced LCD screen on cameras twice, so this was not completely foreign to me. Now I use this computer when I travel, to spare the possibility of destroying my new, larger, faster laptop. The only reason I don't give four stars, is that I have only one experience with this company. If you are going to replace your screen, you might want to remove you old one first. The part number on the back will save you from ordering the incorrect screen.

Despite the fact that the screen model I ordered didnt have a tutorial for installation, there were tutorials on other models on the site that helped me figure out how to replace my broken laptop screen, thank god. What was more surprising was the price I payed for my screen and how quickly the screen arrived at my door! Spent $80 and it arrived to my door in just a couple of days not tp mention in perfect condition! If youre looking for a better alternative than spending $100s repairing a laptop screen at a manufacture, go to Screencountry. Also if a tutorial isnt included in a screen youre looking to buy (because they try to cover a tutorial for each kind of screen) they may offer you a discount if you supply them with a tutorial for that screen. For me I was offered $20 off if i made an instruction video but i didnt do it due to not having a decent enough camera

While frying to find a new screen for my Toshiba Satellite, I went out to eBay but was satisfied with the sites for tech support and getting the correct screen for this beast. Bought a replacement screen for a Toshiba netbook. It was relatively easy to install (with the help of YouTube) and works perfectly. No problems with ordering or shipping time.

They shipped me the screen I needed at a very good price. The screen arrived quickly and was well packaged. I would feel comfortable doing business with them again.

It was not difficult to fine the correct screen for my HP Pavillion dv9000 laptop. The ordering was a bit more difficult because the website did not allow for separate billing and shipping addresses. I phoned the toll free number to complete my order. The screen arrived on the day it was promised. While the installation video was helpful, my situation did not match exactly what was presented but then considering the long list of possible models, I did not expect it to. Instead of taking 5 minutes to change the screeen it took about 45 minutes. There was some confusion about the backlight connection and the placement of the backlight package, and some parts originally supplied turned out surplus to the replacement screen. In the end the screen worked, and still does, like the original. It might be helpful to offer other bits and pieces of replacement parts like bezels, screw covers and screws, all of the damage not being apparent until dismantling.

Last week my son came into my office crying with this Gateway laptop in hand. Good God, another laptop trashed. "It was an accident" he told me. It's always an accident. :-\ Not the first time he's done this.

Only this time I Googled "repairing a laptop screen". I came up with few hits. After looking around and viewing a few youtube videos I clicked on www.screencountry.com. I read a few of their site reviews, looked to see if they had my particular replacement screen, and... well... decided to live on the edge and buy one. It was late, I was tired, and in the morning I had the typical buyer's remorse feeling come over me. Sooooo, I Googled "www.screencountry.com review" and came up with this site. My heart sunk. But, it was a done deal. They'd already shipped it to me. I decided to ride it out and see what I got.

Two days later the replacement arrived by Fedex. Thank God they ship Fedex since Canada's postal system in on strike. I opened it up at the post office since the box was a little crushed, but the screen looked in good condition and exactly like it looked on their video.

So, home I went with that little baby. I followed the video instructions, and 20 minutes later I was up and running. It works perfectly.

So why this review? Well, because the bad ones left me doubting my purchase, and doubting the company's reputation. I'm glad I hung in there and I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase.

If he ever cracks another screen I'll know where to go. Right back to www.screencountry.com. I'll recommend them to my friends too.

Extremely poor customer service with no ownership if you experience problems:
I broke my son's Laptop screen and needed to replace it. The replacement cost at a local shop was ~$200, so replacing with screen country at $75 (inc. S&H) seemed like a good option. However; the generic brand screen that they sent, which they said was compatible, did not work with our Acer pc. After a few calls and emails, they agreeded to accept the return and send a replacement. At this point, I would be out about $45 in shipping costs with no guarantee that the replacement screen would work. I made the decision to order the exact same LG screen that was originally in the laptop from a US company. This solved the problem and the screen works fine. I made several calls and sent several emails to recover the shipping cost, but screen country would not take ANY responsibility and refused stand behind their product. I even asked for a manager/supervisor to contact me with regard to these costs and have had no response.

Great selection. Easy to navigate. Super fast shipping and good automated communication. I will be using the site again to fix the screen on my netbook now.

The screen that they sent me was about 1mm too long. I had to make some adjustments to my laptop in order to accommodate that, but otherwise it worked really well

Two good experiences:
I had used screen country a few years ago, so since I was buying another screen for a differnet computer they gave me the better pricing for 2 quantity pricing. I ordered the replacement screen on Tuesday night, they shipped it Wednesday 2day Fedex.
I received it about noon on Friday. Since it was from BC and I live in Calif, I had to sign for international shipmet, A bit of a pain, since Fedex called and said they could leave it at a neighbor if I left a note, but they they were 4 hours early, so it worked out fine, but I wish they could have just dropped it of on my door step. I was able to replace the screen and finish the computer in about 1/2hour, this was my second notebook I had replaced screens on. My last daughter stepped on the notebook when she left it on the floor. We had talked about just buying a new computer, but that takes lots more time to reload all the software.

I ordered a LCD for my laptop. I was very pleased with all aspects of my purchase. Delivery was fast, item was received and works awesome!. Easy buy. Will purchase from screencountry in the future.

I was able to replace the LCD on my wife's MacBook Pro quickly and with the correct part at a very affordable cost thanks to ScreenCountry. Should misfortune strike again, I wouldn't hesitate to use thier services a second time.
