Outstanding rounds! We left the choice up to SDB to choose our rounds. They sent our entire order, 40 rounds, in Buffalo's! Second time buying from SDB and certainly will not be the last.
Ordered 2 royal mint una silver bars ( 10 oz) limited edition, paid $622 3 weeks ago, items in stock at the time order, never updated status. Called and placed on hold forever! Items now out of stock and will only allow exchange for lowered value bars and will not refund the difference in value ( silver is down form time of order in addition bars ordered now are not premium limited edition bars! Very rude an unethical company!
The Proclaim Liberty 10 oz Silver Bars are stunningly beautiful. Very clean with a high polished finish! You will not be disappointed ordering this 10oz bar. The order arrived exactly as SD Bullion said it would.

I had to register with some stupid site just to leave this review. Why?
Quick thoughts on my experiences with SDB: shipping is too slow, packaging should have been much better, prices are usually really good, but no free shipping option cancels that out.
I had to find a new provider of bullion after a disappointing experience with my vendor of choice. After much searching, I selected SD bullion. The prices were the best I've found, the hold time for the check was much less than two other vendors I have used, and the packaging was very secure. Will definitely use again.
A very needed account of insurance for life matters situation thank you! I know that there are other descriptors for the same said qualities, but your company surpasses them all. I can trust your professionalism, but not sure of the others.
One can only imagine what type of rush you guys had after a few banks collapsed. I ordered a day or two before the run on Gold and Silver. Thankfully my order was delivered recently after a few weeks of anticipation and worry. I also did not know that I would need to sign for the order from the post office on delivery. That was a comforting fact that someone wouldn't be able steal it off of the porch. The first time buyer Gold at spot was awesome as well. I will continue to buy from SD Bullion in the future. The shipment was running late, but that wasn't the problem with this company. I told them that I could not get FedEx shipments to the house because no one is home at the time that they deliver. The closest FedEx pickup location for me is in 55 miles away. Guess how they shipped my order? That's right FedEx. And to beat it all, I contacted customer service the day before, discussed with a representative my situation, and they assured me that my package would be mailed United States Postal Service, which the post office is only 3 miles from my house, and I could pick up after work. The following day, I received a FedEx delivery notice via text. I was lied to by SD Bullion. They may be one of the cheaper bullion dealers, but their customer service is lacking on a grand scale. Don't plan on ordering from them ever again. Worst company ever. Don't waste your time or money.

SDBullion offers both expedited and standard shipping services. The standard shipping is free with orders over $199, and the expedited service is a $12.95 charge. This expedited service also allows customers to select between USPS and FedEx, which cannot be done if the other shipping method is selected. SD Bullion takes the worry out of buying precious metals. The company was easy to contact and always got an answer. They even checked to make sure I received my order. I will be using them in the future and telling my friends to use SD Bullion for their transactions!
I purchased, the 5 ounce spot promotion. The bar I received was fantastic. In addition, I also purchased a few BU peace, dollars and other coins. Everything arrived in great shape and was well packaged. I look forward to doing business with SD Bullion again very soon.
I love SD Bullion! I'm not rich, and I'm not a collector of "rare coins", but I do have faith in precious metals, so I buy 1 oz. Silver rounds (a. K. a. "poor man's gold"), 20 at a time. I choose the "random design" and pay with a personal check for the cheapest rate---cheapest on the web that I've found. (It takes a little longer mailing in the check, but I'm in no hurry.) This was my 4th order since 2016, I think, and I have always gotten beautiful product and good, prompt service from SD Bullion. I couldn't be happier.
Least expensive way to buy silver. I have never had a problem. Sure it might be slow when you send a check. You have to understand that the check has got to clear. They do not want to be stuck with bad checks, if so they will not be in business very long. I have order over 20 times over several years.
As Silver rose up I decided to sell my silver to SD Bullion. It was about 10 min phone call to get quote and PO from them to sell it. Due to the brand of silver bars I had their price was above spot. I accepted and followed shipping instructions on their PO. It took US post office to get insured registered shipment an entire week to get it to them. They emailed me regularly every step of the process. Once the verified shipment they asked for W9 (wish they asked for it up front to not lose a day there). Within 24 hrs of having my W9 they wired money as promised to my savings account. This was very easy. I would sell to them again.

I had to deal with an ignorant customer service representative this morning who couldn't care less if they lost a customer. Their return and restocking policies are horrible. They lost thousands in business.

SD bullion is one of a handful of highly reliable and trustworthy sellers of precious metals on the internet. I have ordered from them several times and their shipping time, packing quality, and policies are similar to other top-shelf internet dealers. They differ in one respect only: they don't offer free shipping. This means they can often have the lowest price around... you just have to do the math to see whether it's worth it ofter shipping. For larger orders it frequently is. I can recommend them.
After spending $5k on silver I was charged a cancellation fee for an order my bank messed up on. Customer service agent Jeremy literally argued with me and tried to talk over and down to me instead of being helpful. Worst customer service ever. I even made a $1300 order after the cancellation and ZERO cancellation fees showed up. They they sent it to collections without trying to help me first or notice me through my account log in. You can't even pay this collection fee online through your account log in. Makes no sense. Jeremy should be fired.
Tip for consumers:
If an order gets cancelled, you have to call them and make sure there are not any fees being sent to collections because they do not show up on your account. Crazy.

Your products are moved out of our inventory and held for you, and we hedge our price based on the market price at the time you submit your order. Received delivery of of Archangel Michael 1 oz gold bar yesterday. I think alot of people are buying gold over concerns about inflation, national debt and future of our dollar. It took about 4 weeks to receive the gold which was fine by me. Price was locked in at purchase. It came encapsulated with Cert-Lock which was one of the reasons I bought through SD Bullion. However, I could not down load the app for my phone because the app was an older version and not compatible for my Samsung S20+phone. Other than that, the bar was pristine and I was very satisfied with purchase. I will be buying from this company again in the future.

This is my 6th order from SD Bullion and I have been happy with each order. The only thing that would make it better would be being able to pay with electronic checks. Paper checks take to long to process.
I have purchase 6 separate orders and each time they have been the lowest price (that I can see after checking with several other's) and I have received the shipment in a very timely manner. So far they are my go to for gold and silver!
I made a very small purchase of junk silver from SD. I wanted to check the way they ship, the accuracy of the purchase and customer service! They way they treated a small buyer was great and therefor SD will be my go to metal dealer as i anticipate my next large purchase should be trouble free! I give them 5 stars out of 5

I thought I order 4 silver bars with a decorative design. I received 2 attractive silver bars & 2 poured bars tagged Italia? I am not sure if the sales promo said "our choice" of silver, but I prefer an attractive bar. Is it possible to get "all attractive bars"?

I purchased 80 Half Dollar Barbers on March 13. I ordered them before they were out of stock and before 5 day delay shipping notices were posted on their site. On March 29th I emailed them to inquire on the status of my order. I was assured in a reply email that my order was being processed as fast as possible under the current circumstances. I accepted that explanation, however the following day I got a call from them telling me there had been an error in inventory and my items were no longer available, and that this item would not be available, possibly for months. I requested a full refund. I don't believe there was an inventory error. I am sure they sold my coins to another buyer, at a much higher price as prices had increased by over 20% since I placed my order. I have purchased in the past from SD Bullion but no longer will if this is the way the Doc conducts business the "old fashioned way" - Jay
Process was easy to follow. Received my order within a couple of weeks, which was the expectation. Seems outdated having to mail a check. Hoping they can improve that process through EFT in the near future.
