Sears marketplace had been really easy to deal with, on time, and we'll priced. Seriously I just moved and bought about 12 different items, some from Sears and some from their sellers and every single one was delivered on time or early. Really nice to get delivery email notices too. I don't know who says they get better deals at Walmart as that was not the case for me. I found better quality for similar prices at Sears and I got a pile of shop your way points that I used to get several other items free!
When I tell yall I have been struggling and having headaches with this company warranty. I'm just at a loss, for years ive been paying monthly payments of 50 dollars, finally I have an incident my refrigerator is not working. I have been going back and forth with them for 4 months, appointments have been canceled I have had to call out of work so many times that's it's been troubling even with my manager. When I say over 4 months I have been rescheduling, multiple appointments. The only thing they can tell me is it would have to be rescheduled, it's beyond sickening to me. It's beyond horrific, never in my life would I expect a company like sears to do this. They are the worst, I'm just sick to my stomach on why I have been paying this long. The worst, the worst, the worst. Do not get home coverage with them.
I bought many thing from sears store. Prices are very very reasonable according to the product quality.
The folks at Sears always service the items they sell and keep parts on older stalk too; thank you Sears! I love this store!
Sears is a very convenient place to shop! Both online and in store. They have very friendly associates that are happy to help out.
Quality merchandise. There isn't a local Sears store in our small town. So, shopping online is great. I know I can trust their quality.
Sears went out of their way to get a stroller online from a third party for my family. They gave us free expedited shipping as well.
I shop online and in stores. That gives you convErnie ce to do store pick up. I don't care for the reward points they have.
I purchased a hot water heater with installation & hall away from Sears and they said that someone should be contacting/calling me within 24 hours to schedule the installation. No phone call. So I decide to call the number listed on my receipt of purchase and I'm on a call with someone who can not tell me anything except that they do not have any other their 3rd party installers to accept the job of installation for the area.
If your 3rd party installers don't want the jobs within the area, then don't offer installations for the area so customers can make a different decision.
The manager of the installation department now says that the installer did not accept the installation because SEARS under charged the permit amount by $3. REALLY? $3? They had to cancel the order and my money($1,125) that was charged to my credit card wont be available for 7 or more business days. Today is Friday. So I'm lookin at, at least 2 weeks before my funds are returned to me to purchase a new hot water heater. Which means I have to go another 2 weeks w/o HOT WATER!
SEARS CAN KISS MY FAT $#*!! AND LICK THE CRACK!
Appliances Connection, a Sears Marketplace seller, has been screwing us around for weeks now. We purchased an air conditioner unit because the delivery date before checkout was a few days away. After checkout, the delivery date was over a week away. Ok, shipping is delayed all over, that's fine. Then the delivery day came, and went, and NO updates from Fedex. After phone calls and e-mails back and forth with Appliances Connection, we find out the AC unit had never been picked up by Fedex. Appliances Connection points the finger at Fedex, we call them, and they point the finger right back. We are promised a new delivery date. That day comes and goes, and the AC unit is still at Appliances Connection's warehouse. We've been a week and a half without an AC unit in 90+ city days. We find and arrange local pick up for the same AC unit, cheaper, at a local place. We call Appliances Connection to cancel the order, since the item was still in their warehouse. We expect to see a refund. Then, 3 days after we cancel the order, and hours after Appliances Connection closed for the day/weekend, we get a notification that Fedex has picked up the item and will be delivering it the next day! We call Fedex, refuse delivery, and send off an e-mail to both Sears and Appliances Connection. It is over a week later now, we have had even more back and forth with Appliances Connection, we haven't received a refund, and Sears has no record of the order being refunded. Today, Appliances Connection tried to say that the AC unit had already been picked up by Fedex when we cancelled the order, but the tracking information clearly shows that to be false. We have started a dispute with Sears/Citibank. We will not be doing business with Appliances Connection or any other Sears Marketplace sellers in the future.
Sears has sent me at least 3 different orders incorrectly. First they sent me Baby Essentials Pink Fox diaper bags (x2) and another set of Peekaboo Baby Essentials diaper bags (x2) instead of the Leap Frog diaper bags (x2) and Tender Kisses striped (x2) diaper bags I ordered. Then they sent me a pug power 2 piece set (2T) instead of onesies. Now most recently they sent me a 3 pack nuby bottle set instead of the 6 bottle, 2 pacifier set I ordered.
Background: The items are sent to an MSC affiliate and shipped to The Bahamas
Usually Sears would provide a points refund since they're sending me completely wrong items but this last time they refused and said I needed to return the items. To return an item send to the Bahamas which I paid taxes and freight on would essentially cost me more than the item itself. It wouldn't make sense. I declined and told them I would write a review.
I've placed at least 100 orders with Sears but this is becoming a trend where they provide incorrect items. They also once sent expired and incorrect food items that I ordered. Sears is an unreliable company. It's becoming prohibitive & time consuming to do business with them
I purchased a refrigerator from Sears. Com. It was defective and so I attempted to e change it for another. The delivery drivers did not even bring it into the house because it left the warehouse so badly damaged. I have had to make at least 8 separAte highly painful and lengthy calls to Sears.com customer service. All of their customer service is provided by call centers overseas. None of these agents have a good enough understanding of English to address any issue that is out of the box. Of. They read from a script. They continually apologize but are unable to assist. Moreover their customer service is so departmentalized that it appears that they work independent if each other. In other word, delivery department has the obligation for issuing the refund yet they have no proper record that it wS returned. It's a nightmare. The reception is so poor that the agents can hardly be heard. If I ask them to speak up repeatedly because I cannot hear they hang up on you. I honestly think Sears should stick with selling large appliances in store. It is amazing how disappointing this experience has been for me. Lastly, isn't there any quality control before these appliances leave the warehouse for the customer? I had one agent yesterday who in broken English refused to give me a refund and insisted that I keep the defective appliance in exchange for 50,000 points. All the while I had repeatedly explained that the refrigerator was not in my possession. They are trained to do ANYTHING to get around refunding. It is a shame. It has been a waste of my valuable time and as I type this I still have not received a refund.
Worst costumer service.
The only warehouse website that I have seen crashing during my order, I could not even log in for a long time after that..
Very expensive, and many things sold there in home and kitchen are seconds from the US, bt they charge 3-4 times the price!
I HATE SEARS FOREVER!
READ ALL THE REVIEWS I WISH I HAD!
I am currently am on hold with customer service for now and 2 and half now waiting to speak to some. I order a Whirlpool electric laundry center. I called Friday, July 26 2019 and spoke with an online rep via chat then thru phone to place this order. I told her " I Iive on the fourth floor, with no elevator and my current dryer was hanging up on the wall. " She stated me "No problem and they can haul away." Great I am thinking. "Do I need install?" She replied with "No, basic hook up is perfect." I'll receive a conformation email... Never happened...
Then today Monday, July 29,2019 is my delivery day. I took off of work and waited at 5:45 p.m. I received a call from the delivery men they informed me that they don't deliver to fourth floor without and evelavtor. So I called customer service and asked to speak to a manager. Never got one got passed around and a lot of well, umm and nothing... They bearly speak english and seem not to understand the issues... So I hopped on the chat and spoke to several different people before I got them to agree to cancel the order. I requested an email of the cancellation they sent me a copy of the conversation. I am so beyond frustrated... NEVER AGIAN WITH SEARS!
I haven't had any problems ordering from Sears. They have everything from furniture, clothing, and electronics.
It was hard to find someone to help me. Then there were only a couple places to check out. The tire and battery service is not what it use to be.
Two weeks ago I bought a King sized mattress and box springs so that my husband who is dying from COPD can rest comfortably. I was told it would be delivered no later than today, September 19th and could possibly be delivered as early as September 12th. I was also told that I would receive notification 24 hours prior to the delivery. The 12th came and went so I knew that was not going to happen but last night on the 18th I got a voicemail saying that the delivery would be made between 5 and 7 pm on the 19th, or the next day which is today. I had some friends come over and help this morning and removed the bed from our bedroom so that it would be ready for the delivery. Then at 11:30 AM this morning I get a call (just 5 hours before the delivery window) saying that the delivery was postponed and left a number to call. I called the number and they say it will be another week at the earliest. Now what the he! Am I supposed to do? I have a dying husband and because of your ineptitude he has nowhere to sleep. THAT IS INEXCUSABLE! This after my husband has spent over 7,000 at this lousy company in the past year. I have no idea what we are supposed to do now, but you can bet this story will be posted anywhere on the web I can put it, and also the local news if they are willing to air it. You people should be ASHAMED for the treatment of your customers. This is unbelievable.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away from them. BAD BAD BAD
I have always loved shopping at Sears but living i Europe limits my selection of power tools because of voltage differences
I bought curtains and a bedspread on clearance. I was surprised at the quality. Quick shipping. I even got another discount.
Bought 4 items from Sears Marketplace. I needed an espresso machine, treadmill, blender and matt for the treadmill. Since Sears offered free assembly and 7 day delivery of the treadmill I made the decision to go with them. It's been a nightmare ever since and their support is like Fort Knox. There is literally no way you can get around the low level, unimpowered phone staff. If you try calling their corp offices the operator must be trained to shoot you right back to the bottom of the hill.
The "espresso maker" i bought--was really just a base. Returning the item is not easy. Lots of steps--and Sears helps you with none of them. The vendor apparently thought she was dealing with someone purchasing from Amazon marketplace and I had to keep documenting where I came from, who I was and keep calling back to get my refund. Got my refund--$30 less than what I paid. It was like she didn't even have my original order. I contacted the vendor AGAIN. She tells me that she can't control the fact that Sears marks their product up so much (and mind you it was marked 50% off), so now I have to go BACK to Sears for the $30 difference. I go back to Sears. They tell me that they can't even talk to me unless i have the tracking number from the box I sent their Vendor.
Now let's talk about the treadmill with 7 day deliver and installation. It's been 19 days. The product is supposed to be delivered today. I call Sears Installation to find out how I arrange for the installation after the delivery. They tell me they don't have my order. They tell me I must pay for installation. I kill myself trying to get on the phone with a "floor manager" and he says "you'll have to take it up with the vendor"
This is INSANE. I an a C-level employee and quite adept dealing with vendors. I'm not doing that when I paid a company $2000 for products, have been run through the circus.
DO NOT USE THEIR MARKETPLACE. I read that they hired "rock stars" from Amazon. BULL$#*!. These guys would be lucky to be roadies. They have literally no central order control. They have no vendor control. They don't stand behind what they merchandise and I'm now going to Visa to issue a charge back. I've put at least 10 hours into trying to manage this order.
I rarely see a sears in a mall when I do they're closing. I'm not sure why but i've never had any problems with sears
I have a Samsung washing machine that when the electrical timer goes to the last 8-9 minutes to spin it goes back to the rinse cycle. I called Sears for service maintenance. I scheduled an appointment and when the service tech came he stated that I needed a part to make the machine work.
He stated that if I did not order the part from him at that moment, when he comes back again it will be a new service charge. I ordered the part and paid for the service call. It came out to $204.65. I waited about 1 week and the part arrived. A different service tech came. The second service tech stated I would need another THREE parts for a total of over $700 before he could repair the machine! I refused to pay it and also refused to give him the part I paid back, since he would not repair the washing machine. SEARS sent me a credit for the part for $69.49.
This is not the first time I had an experience with the Sears repair service. Several years ago, my wife had Sears Repair Service come to repair a washing machine and they did they same thing. The washing machine was never fixed and she ordered the parts for it.
Another company is using the Sears name to lull consumers into using them. Then, they say you have to order parts to fix the appliance. But they never fix the appliance. I advise all consumers that have appliances to STAY AWAY FROM SEARS! IT IS NOT THE SAME COMPANY THAT YOU KNEW BEFORE! A NEW COMPANY DOING THE SO CALLED REPAIRS AND STEALING PEOPLE'S MONEY! LET THE BUYER BEWARE!
I have shopped at Sears for years and they have a good variety of merchandise and an excellent return policy
Good deals good coupon and I love the sears auto repairing. You can drop your car and go on shopping.
I was just in Sears they had a very good sale as must has 70%off on some thing with some one on a fixed income this was great
I've bought from Sears, and was happy how they treat their customers that I bought from them again. And will make another purchase soon.
