Sears marketplace had been really easy to deal with, on time, and we'll priced. Seriously I just moved and bought about 12 different items, some from Sears and some from their sellers and every single one was delivered on time or early. Really nice to get delivery email notices too. I don't know who says they get better deals at Walmart as that was not the case for me. I found better quality for similar prices at Sears and I got a pile of shop your way points that I used to get several other items free!
When I tell yall I have been struggling and having headaches with this company warranty. I'm just at a loss, for years ive been paying monthly payments of 50 dollars, finally I have an incident my refrigerator is not working. I have been going back and forth with them for 4 months, appointments have been canceled I have had to call out of work so many times that's it's been troubling even with my manager. When I say over 4 months I have been rescheduling, multiple appointments. The only thing they can tell me is it would have to be rescheduled, it's beyond sickening to me. It's beyond horrific, never in my life would I expect a company like sears to do this. They are the worst, I'm just sick to my stomach on why I have been paying this long. The worst, the worst, the worst. Do not get home coverage with them.
The prices are o. K. but there are often sales and I have gotten so many excellent things there. I find the clothing there a more cost-effective option than the Bay
Sears has so many holding companies and Marketplace Merchants, aka, International Merchants, that you don't know which company you're buying from. I purchased an item and they took my money immediately, but never shipped the item. The Marketplace Merchant who ended up with my order had a non-working phone number, assigned a bogus sales check number to try and make it look like the item had been shipped, then he closed his online store and I was out my money. The thief's store is Choice Avenue. Sears couldn't have been more uncooperative refunding my money. Their Customer Service is nothing more than lip service and stall tactics. I had to file a dispute with my credit card holder and cancel my credit card. I had auto payments set up on the card, so the ripple effect wasted even more of my time. I also filed a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General's Office, Consumer Fraud Bureau. There are THOUSANDS of complaints on Sears... over 12,000 filed with the BBB in the last 3 years. Think twice before ordering from Sears.com! My order turned into a 3-week nightmare trying to get my stolen money back. Sears is not the reputable company it used to be.
I am still dealing with the lawn furniture that arrived broken and defective for the set I ordered on May 21st for $967.88 One of the metal lawn chairs actually came broken in multiple places and one came with bent legs and uneven.
The manufacturer (Ningbo Sunmate) and Sears blamed it on each other and I am stuck with the product I cannot use.
Sears customer service said I need to deal with the manufacturer and Ningbo Sunmate said Sears is responsible for breaking the chair during delivery. In addition they asked me to fix the defective chair! HUH!
I wrote an email to Sears corporate international customer service center and they said they cannot find my order and asked me to contact the same customer service I've been having issues with (the order number was written on the subject line BTW).
The quality of the product and service is totally unacceptable by any standards. How is this legal? I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau and other review sites.

I ordered an Appliance package online, for home delivery. Sears stated delivery would commence on Jan 21,2016. Denver, Co into the Front Range Mountains
Delivery date came and went. I was finally called and informed that the driver was unable to come up the hill because of sow and ice. I had just accepted delivery of 1100 sqft of drywall, delivered on a flatbed truck with a crane attached! But Sears delivery could not make it up the hill and next delivery date available was not until 7 days later! I informed the driver and dispatch to please call us when they get to the hill next time, so I could meet them there and pick up the items myself. Jan. 27 came and went and no delivery! I received a call again, stating the delivery woman could not make it up the hill and returned. Next delivery will not be for another 7 days later! Construction delays are costing me thousands of dollars per week. When I asked for a supervisor, they offered me a $50 discount. I have yet to get my appliances. Update** It was never successfully resolved and I cancelled the order completely.

Yes, you might save $ initially when ordering or Kenmore is still a good Co.- but, unless you go and pick it up in the store, DO NOT ORDER ONLINE for Denver store and Mountain delivery. The delivery driver is incompetent and will not be able to deliver your items, 6 months out of the year.
Many Sears are franchises, some are good, some are run by people that are one step above criminals. You'd better ask around a bit before buying anything important from a Sears.
I ordered a special size window air conditioner from Sears on 9-11 with a delivery date of 9-23 (must have been shipped from China). It was to be delivered to my local Sears. It cost $269 + tax.
On 9-24, I still hadn't gotten a delivery notice. After 2 hours on the phone hunting for my AC, I got 3 different responses. 1: order was cancelled cue to out of stock, status unknown with a 72 hour resolution and order had been delivered to the store.
I went to the store and punched my order into the pickup computer and it said QTY: 0. The warehouse team looked for and found the item delivered. They told me the wrong model was sent. It was the same physical size but instead of 6000 BTU it was was 10,000 BTU with a price of $399. I balked at their mistake but the best deal the manager could give was $50 off. I spent 2 more hours on the phone trying to get Sears to release the unit to me but met the bureaucratic wall of store policy. Even though I really needed the unit, the best they could offer was to cancel my order and try again. Maybe in 2 more weeks, I might get the right unit.
Because I was in time crunch, I went back to pay the extra $80 and was shocked to find the actual price was $499 and I had to pay an extra $180. If I hadn't made a promise to my tenant, I would have cancelled the order but whose to say that Sears could get it right the second time. I am not surprised to see that Sears is dying as a company with roots of incompetence and ineptitude buried deep in its bureaucracy
The customer service was really bad. This is all regarding delivery of a refrigerator. They gave us a delivery day and time the day before delivery- I took off work to be there. I contacted them one hour after the delivery window because delivery had not been made. They said it was still to come. Then 30 min later we received a prerecorded message that said delivery had been canceled and to reschedule. We called to reschedule and they said it would be a full week later. We asked if it could be sooner and they said they could not. We asked if we could go to warehouse and pick up and they said yes and gave us two phone numbers to arrange w warehouse. One number turned out to be disconnected and no answer at the other. Called back and they said they could deliver in two day but we couldn't pick up at warehouse after all. The delivery in two days did not occur either. Called back and they reverted back to the one week later. Then asked if we could add old appliance pickup to it. They said yes for a fee. Paid the fee and asked for assurances because of all prior issues. Told me there would be no problem. When they delivered refrigerator they refused to do the pickup. I called to complain and got the pickup fee back but the whole thing was ridiculous. I went on the website and wrote a complaint with a detailed explanation regarding their customer service and delivery — with absolutely no response in over a month. They do NOT care about their customers.

A little pricey but service on my warrantied equipment has been very good. Online support is usually quick and my authorized service tech is great and so is the Sears Hometown store mgr.
I ordered a product from sears.com on Sept 18 2018. The product I was sent is not what I ordered and not even the same brand. Sears said to return it to the third party seller. The product did not come in a box nor was I provided a free return label. I have spent hours on the phone, on the online chat, and with emails(to which you cannot respond). I was told I have to return the product to get my money back or I could keep it with a 15% discount. Really? It's not what I ordered and I should keep it or return it at my expense?! I was told that they would waive the restock fee!
This is ridiculous I just want my 47.99 back or the product which I ordered. I requested several time to speak with a supervisor and it seems they are never available and they have never called back as they said they would. I was told my case was escalated and I would receive a refund within 72 hours by two representatives- that didn't happen. I have also sent emails to sears international and was told they couldn't help. Do not order anything from sears.com!

I bought a Power Tower from Sears online. Found out later it was from a third-party seller. A month from purchase I still had not received product or tracking number to let me know where my product was. After chatting with a Sears customer service agent online they assured me they would refund my money and cancel the order. Two weeks later the product shows up out at my house. So I figured I'd make the best of it and put it together. Not only is this thing trash and not worthy of an adult using but it's missing nuts and bolts to be able to put it together. I called Sears to return it to the nearest Sears and get my money back and they refused. They tell me I must deal with the third party seller which is not in this country and that I would have to disassemble the product, box it back up, and send it out in which case I'll probably wait another month and a half to get my refund. This is why Sears is losing to Amazon. This is on top of not honoring the warranty that I bought for my grill from Sears. Stating they have no record of it. I'm done with them.
I ordered a leaaf blower off of Sears Website! WAS A NIGHTMARE. This may be a very good blower but I will never know, I just don't want people ordering off of Sears website! I ordered the blower from their site and ended up paying over a $100 for father's day for an item NEVER received because they sent it to the WRONG address. I tried 3 times to change the defaults only to receive a confirmation e-mail stating that it was STILL going to my son's old address, because of an item I sent him last year for his birthday. I phoned within 45 minutes to try and correct the error and they COULD NOT do it! Then they proceeded 3 times to lie to me about canceling the order over the next 3 days. Needless to say UPS delivered it to some random occupants who scored a blower I never saw and Sears would only apologize but NEVER refund or fix the problem. POOR POOR SERVICE AND WEBSITE
I purchased a wall mounted fan from the Sears "Marketplace". I purchased it for a room that was being renovated, so I didn't install it right away. About a week after it was installed, my grandchildren were staying the weekend and slept in the room with the newly installed fan. About 3 am the fan broke, literally came apart inside the cage. The noise was so loud that my grandchildren thought there was gunfire and were terrified laying there in the dark. I immediately contacted Sears and the person I spoke to told me I had to call the manufacturer. He gave me a phone number that didn't work, so I called Sears back. They tried calling the number and found that it wasn't a working number. I was told they would get back to me in 72 hours. They didn't. I called again and was again told that they would get back to me in 72 hours. This time I got an e-mail stating that since I didn't return the fan in 30 days, there was nothing they could do. I repeat, the fan worked for about 5 hours and Sears refuses to warranty it. I chatted with them and all they could say was I should have returned it in 30 days and that there was nothing they could do. Sears used to take care of their customers. This is no longer true. Now I understand why so many of their stores are going out of business. DON"T BUY FROM SEARS! They won't take care of you if something goes wrong.!
I like shopping they have alot of great deals especially on levis I would have given 5 stars but sometimes when I'm in a hurry they just keep wanting you to sign up for this and that and you can say not to day because I'm in a hurry and they just keep on trying to get you to sign up for something sometimes I need to just pay for my stuff and GO!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE- BASED OUTSIDE USA. TERRIBLE QUALITY CONTROL ON KENMORE REFRIDGERATOR. 1st Refridgerator was delivered in October and immediately made a loud sound like a helicopter taking off. After spending hours on phone with over-seas customer service, a new refridgerator was ordered. Sears rescheduled delivery 3 times.
2nd refridgerator arrived damaged; scratched, bent inside and out. Clearly used, not new. I immediately call customer service requesting to order a different model and was told that was not possible because it was over 30 days from delivery of original refridgerator, AND, no refund was possible for same reason. How is any of this my fault? Never have I spent so much money and had such a bad customer service experience. The only option they gave me was to reorder the same refridgerator and hope that the 3rd time is a charm. So many hours, so much frustration in trying to resolve this issue.

I purchased the full retail version of Microsoft Office Professional 2010 from EWPLUSOFT via the Sears Marketplace. You really want to avoid purchasing software from EWPLUSOFT since they provide developer's licenses rather than retail licenses (called Office Professional Plus 2010). Microsoft will not activate developer licenses without a developer's subscription. I have no idea of the cost this subscription since I am a home user.
I sent 8 e-mails asking EWPLUSOFT for a disc with the retail version of the software or a full refund. EWPLUSOFT sent 7 e-mails simply telling me that I needed to download the software from their website "to fix the problem" in lieu of retail disc. In the 8th e-mail, EWPLUSOFT finally acknowledged that they will neither provide a disc with the retail version of Microsoft Office Professional 2010 nor provide a refund.
Again, you really want to avoid doing business this Marketplace seller!
I made a purchase through the Sears.ca, what a nightmare.
I never received a conformation of my order,
When I called the customer service (which is useless) they had no record of my order so I have to replace my order again.
I asked to have my order delivered to my home because of the size of the item I can not fit it in my vehicle, and it was rerouted to the nearest pick up location, which is 45 minutes from my home.
When I called to have to shipped to my home the "customer service" agent said that it was not possible. Then she said it would be $65 charge if I wanted it done, when I said yes she laugh that I would pay $65 to have it delivered.
I will NEVER order anything else from Sears.ca, or Sears.com.
This was a birthday gift I ordered and it is now 3 weeks late for the birthday, I ordered the gift 6 weeks ago. My purchase was Tennis Table and cost after re-routing and additional cost around $360 from a sale price of $240.
Thank you sears.ca, sears.com, and sears and general for total disappointment.

Have had Craftsman tools all my life. Excellent quality and if you break it they replace it. They have honored this on all their Craftsman tool products.

I spent over $3500 on an order for appliances and an another couple of small items. I got a text on a Wednesday morning that my delivery was on the way and would arrive between 4 and 6 pm. So I called the people that wanted my old appliances and had them picked up, to make room for the new. Another item was my disabled moms bed, I bought her a new one. So at 5 pm I still had not heard from them. I call and they told me that my order wasn't being delivered, that they didn't get the mattress in time, so they weren't delivering the appliances either. No call or nothing to let me know this. So now here I am with a disabled mom, that has no bed, no refrigerator or stove, meds that have to be refrigerated. I called and explained the situation to them and they were as useless as tits on a bull. None of them cared. I offered to pay extra delivery to get the appliances and wait on the mattress, but hey wouldn't do anything. They said it would be another week before they could deliver because they only come to my area on Wednesday, they didn't give a crap about my mother or about me as a customer. No wonder this company is about to go under and I have to say, after he treatment I got, I hope it does. If I could give them a minus 50 stars I would, because 1 Star is way to good for them. I cancelled my order, which I know they could have really used, got appliances and a bed delivered the next morning from a local furniture store and saved $965
I bought 2 mattresses several years ago and they collapsed. I got the run around when I tried get them replaced. Instead of the mattress warranty dept I got a person from the regulatory complaint dept. When she refused to contact me I contacted the mattress warranty dept and they never heard of her or that dept. Here is one of the last messages I received from her: "Ms. &&&&&& you stated the product was a Kmart item. Being that you purchased the original mattress at a Sears, the newly selected item number must be a Sears mattress not Kmart. I have been more than patient with your claim, please be advised this is being done as a onetime courtesy." She told me to find a mattress on the Sears website and that is where this mattress is listed. It was a Sealy mattress that had a 10 year warranty and had collapsed within the year so it was under warranty but she considered it a "courtesy".

I would highly recommend that you stay away from shopping online with Sears. I ordered a small (6 cu ft) freezer from Sears on April 3,2020. I received a receipt confirming the purchase with a delivery date of May 30th. The evening before I got an automated call giving me a delivery time from 12:45 - 2:45. My wife and I were excited that we'd finally get our freezer after waiting 2 months. At 3:00 pm I called customer service and they were clueless after 25 minutes on the phone they told me it wasn't in the warehouse - uh covid19, uh unexpected delays. You'll get a call on Monday or Tuesday to reschedule the delivery. You guessed it no call. Got on the phone again - still clueless. I asked if it had even shipped yet - oh yeah, delivery will call when it gets in. Suspicious of that, I tried the customer service chat. They were very polite and their representative assured me that it had shipped and been delivered to a local warehouse. And to make up for the inconvenience they would take 5% off the price. The rep assured me that I would be contacted within 24 - 48 hours to set up a new delivery date. Shocker! Nobody called. Got on the phone AGAIN and finally pinned the rep down about where my freezer was - it wasn't anywhere because their vendor didn't have one to ship! I canceled my order letting them know I would NEVER shop with Sears again which didn't bother the "customer service" rep at all and he calmly told me that the refund would take 15 - 30 days. Outrageous! Sears will never dig their way out of bankruptcy because the whole company is incompetent! Stay away, you've been warned.
I have a 88 year old grandmother, whom I am the POA for and Ive had to start paying all her bills for her and every company on the planet has accepted these POA papers, EXCEPT Sears, stating I need to go have the attorney add my address, when NOBODY else has ask for my personal information. I dont mind giving it and I tried to verbally but NO, they expect me to pay the attorney just to add that just for them! Why did you need that I dont know and why you cant take it verbally, is RIDICULIOUS! So I have to physically go through hell just to get a live person EVERY MONTH to get someone to take a payment over the phone. THEY EVEN TRY TO CHARGE ME $5 FOR TAKING A PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE! HOW LAZY! Rude and hateful and like pulling teeth trying to get help! I will be so happy when she pays the company off! I have wasted sooooooooooooo much of my time and get my anxiety up just to pay a payment. Aint nobody go time for such!
