Sears marketplace had been really easy to deal with, on time, and we'll priced. Seriously I just moved and bought about 12 different items, some from Sears and some from their sellers and every single one was delivered on time or early. Really nice to get delivery email notices too. I don't know who says they get better deals at Walmart as that was not the case for me. I found better quality for similar prices at Sears and I got a pile of shop your way points that I used to get several other items free!

“Worst company ever”

When I tell yall I have been struggling and having headaches with this company warranty. I'm just at a loss, for years ive been paying monthly payments of 50 dollars, finally I have an incident my refrigerator is not working. I have been going back and forth with them for 4 months, appointments have been canceled I have had to call out of work so many times that's it's been troubling even with my manager. When I say over 4 months I have been rescheduling, multiple appointments. The only thing they can tell me is it would have to be rescheduled, it's beyond sickening to me. It's beyond horrific, never in my life would I expect a company like sears to do this. They are the worst, I'm just sick to my stomach on why I have been paying this long. The worst, the worst, the worst. Do not get home coverage with them.

I have a kenmore fridge. The compressor was recalled for being faulty. The fridge quit cooling. Called Sears to fix it. The technician came and said it was the compressor was under warranty and it would still be $700 to fix! Reluctantly I scheduled it to be fixed 4/27. They gave me a window of 8a to 5p. Refused to narrow the time. The 27 rolls around. 8am nothing, no call. 12p I call for some kind of update, nothing. 1:30 I call and I was supposed to get a call in an hour for a time. 2:45p still no call. I call and was told the technician would be there at 3:08.3:30 still no call and no technician. 4:45p no call no anything. I call after 5 again and I am rescheduled for 4/29 without my knowledge. I work and have 2 kids and cannot take off another day for 9 hours. I call and cancel. They refuse to refund my money, give any discount or even try to make this right. They offered to fire the technician and that's all. This company is the worst and I will never buy from Sears or anything Sears has something to do with. This company needs to shut down completely.

A two day job took 5 months and the shower doors still do not fit, water gets on the floor. Six Sub-Contractors could not get the doors to fit properly. Demolition put holes and cracks in the walls, Sub-Contractor increased the height of the shower to cover cracks and holes. After escalation of shower the doors did not fit and Sears would not order ones to fit. They said there was a structural problem. There was no structural problem before they started. The Complaint Specialist lied stating they could not contact me. I am a 70 year old handicapped woman who was without a shower for fourteen and one half days, I could not step over the tub in the other bathroom. I certainly would have answered the phone if I was home. They thought I should be available for them to try to compensate for their incompetency. He said I used my job as a excuse for not being available. I travel for my job and I was certainly not going to lose my job because they could not do theirs.We lost pay trying to accommodate them. The agencies which are suppose to protect consumers read what you say, read what the company says and tell you to take them to court but you probably won; I read a lot of reviews on Sears and It seems Sears contractors do not order the right size a lot. It seems the contractor should have known if the height of the shower was adjusted, the doors would no longer fit. The reviews also state they rarely complete a job on time. Unless you want incompetent sub-contractors who don't bring drop cloths or booties, will install defective panels which they, break pipes, lose the towel bar, soil your carpet, scratch your counter and give lousy customer service don't hire Sear Home Improvement Products. I am certainly sorry I did.

On October 10th, 2018 I ordered a refrigerator online from Sears. My credit card was promptly charged. Delivery of the item was to be 12 November 2018. My current refrigerator was about to die and did on Friday 10 November 2018. The previous week Sears sent me emails building me up for the delivery of my refrigerator, telling me there were X many days left and how I can track the package. I arranged to have the time (unpaid) off from work so that I could be home for this delivery. I received a phone call at 9 am on 12 November from a Sue telling me that the refrigerator was not in the shipment and the next available delivery date is 31 December 2018. A month and a half away. I politely explained that this is unacceptable, I am without a fridge. She explains that she is only in the receiving dept and cannot help, she gives me another number to call who can assist. I call that number and explain the whole situation again. This person cancels the delivery and tells me I can receive a refund in 7-10 business days! 7-10 business days. I am still without a fridge, I lost a days wages and I have children to feed. Oh but I can wait until 31 December to get one, and I cannot purchase another one until my refund comes. They would not expedite my refund. They knew this was happening, if this was shipping from China there would have been an alert showing it was not on the boat or whatever means of transportation. They waited until the day of delivery to call me! I am livid at their lack of communication, and their lack of action to try and make this right, other than me waiting another 45 days for delivery. I Will NEVER have a kind word to say about this company. It's not a wonder now why they are going out of business.
Shame on you. You should reimburse me for my lost wages. Perhaps you can tell my children why we will be eating a lot of rice this month.

Terrible low-quality clothing no doubt 'imported'. Don't waste your money and time from this joint that hides behind kmart. Ugh to both.

Except for sears appliance section it is a great disappointment. Clothes are cheaply made and very outdated.

Good for appliances, prices usually comparable or better than elsewhere when on sale. Found some housewares there a few times too

I purchased a treadmill online, it was scheduled for delivery between the hours of 5pm & 7pm so I could be home to receive delivery, mind you this was confirmed by e-mail, and text message. I received a phone call that morning from the delivery guys saying they will be at my house btwn 1 & 3, I quickly told them I will not be home, this is not my scheduled delivery time, they said ok. I get a phone call at 2pm from delivery guys again saying they are at my house. I was beyond confused as to why they were there when I made it perfectly clear I wasn't home! My 14 yr old son was home, so I decided to let them deliver it while I was on facetime with him. 5 minutes later, they tell me they are missing parts and have to return the treadmill back to the warehouse. At this point I had had it, I called customer service and told them to cancel my order! I was hung up on, because the lady on the other end (who's accent was really thick) was not comprehending what was going on... So after numerous phone calls to the customer service, they canceled my order and said they will refund my my money within 7-10 business days. This is the worst company Ive had to deal with, customer service sucks!, unprofessional and cannot speak good English, I thought it was based in the US, wrong! Avoid Sears at all costs! And I better receive my money back at 10 bus days the latest!
