Sears marketplace had been really easy to deal with, on time, and we'll priced. Seriously I just moved and bought about 12 different items, some from Sears and some from their sellers and every single one was delivered on time or early. Really nice to get delivery email notices too. I don't know who says they get better deals at Walmart as that was not the case for me. I found better quality for similar prices at Sears and I got a pile of shop your way points that I used to get several other items free!
When I tell yall I have been struggling and having headaches with this company warranty. I'm just at a loss, for years ive been paying monthly payments of 50 dollars, finally I have an incident my refrigerator is not working. I have been going back and forth with them for 4 months, appointments have been canceled I have had to call out of work so many times that's it's been troubling even with my manager. When I say over 4 months I have been rescheduling, multiple appointments. The only thing they can tell me is it would have to be rescheduled, it's beyond sickening to me. It's beyond horrific, never in my life would I expect a company like sears to do this. They are the worst, I'm just sick to my stomach on why I have been paying this long. The worst, the worst, the worst. Do not get home coverage with them.
I have been trying for over a years to get reimbursed for a faulty dehumidifier. I've had 4 case numbers and to call back in 10-14 days only to start the process again. I was told the check was in the mail twice. Do not buy from sears or warranty. I'm out 340.00.
Even though a little cheap outfit like K-Mart somehow managed to buy the giant Sears, it is still a good place to go to and buy what you need. Returns easy, quality usually good, sales people good and Sears has been around for a very long time.
I can deal with untrained salespeople, but not with salespeople with a bad attitude. I asked if he could take $10.00 off the price of an air conditioner as compared to LOWE's. He laughed and told me to buy it at LOWE's. I did.
Worst Service ever received, They didnt clean the vents properly and after they left found 3-4 vents opened didnt even bother to close them only they do is try to sell u more stuffs and etc... after u declined them they get rude. I called there customer service they r worst in VA so far i been talked to, they cant do anything abt it just want you to send an email and that email never been relied back, good luck when u get service from them.

Try other companies and dont go for fake 5 star reviews. go research first.
It's been a month since my delivery date and I still don't have the washer and dryer set I ordered and don't know when they're coming! Customer service doesn't care and no one will help me figure this out, or even apologize for the delay. They promised me delivery three separate times and gave me three different guaranteed delivery dates, but I'm still going to a laundromat... And currently I don't even have a delivery date!
And this is only one horror story of my orders...

In store may be okay, bot do NOT order appliances online. ESPECIALLY around Christmas time!
I ordered a new washer motor on line. They took the money from our account and then sent an email saying they were out of stock and on back order. I called and asked for a refund along with a cancellation of the order. Four days later they sent me an email stating the motor was shipped. Now we have two of them. The one we didn't want is twice the price of the one we got from another company. I would never deal with Sears again for anything.
I ordered some craftsman tools on line and arranged for store pick up. I could not believe how easy it was to shop with Sears. I went to the store, received great customer service and the guys even loaded my new tools into my truck. I opened my tools as soon as I arrived home-I have been using the tools for a few days now-they have been great. I am happy to say- Great Customer service, great tools and easy place to shop-not just on line but in the store too.

Do not expect pushy sales people--in the store we have--they let you know they are there to help you if you need it.
I love they have a wide selection of well everything! When you think of Sears you don't think "clothes" but you would be surprised of the selection they have I love it! I'm always buying my boots there. Yes, they sell shoes too! And I can't forget the point system I'm also a frequent shopper at (Kmart) which is associated with Sears and I'm always getting rewards points to use, doesn't everybody love free stuff!?
Bought an upright freezer and paid for extra delivery on Saturday. Got a text an email daily reminding me of the delivery, then got a time frame. After time frame came and went called and they said the item didn't come in and will have to be rescheduled. Would of been nice to get notified of this and not hasd to call to find out after blocking out our Saturday. No wonder why the place is bankrupt.
I like Sears. Their merchandise is very good quality, returns are no hassle. Variety is good with top brands. I feel the stores do need a fresh look though as I think the décor does put customers off. Craftsman tools are a deal and the hand tools are warranted for life. Can't beat that.
I bought a refrigerator online at Sears. Got a great price and got the delivery when expected but they would not take the old one! They were in a big hurry and told me not room on the truck. I have to walk around the old one for a week and half until another truck comes to pick up the old one! I would have paid more just not to be so inconvenienced
I called Sears about my mothers Craftsman lawn mower, I asked to bring it in for repair. They told me it would be $120 to look at it, and the repair would be additional... really, additional?
I called Ace Hardware, asked if I could bring it in. They warned me that they could do the repair, but if it was a part needed that was only available through Craftsman (Sears) they could not buy the part. Turns out luckily it was a general tune-up, so $60 later it was fixed. As opposed to $120 + (at least) $60, which I am sure would have been much more than $60 additional... I have now banned Craftsman and warn everyone to stay away!
Buy a great Toro instead, they sell parts if you need them... unlike greedy Sears (Craftsman).
Ordered a drive pulley for a Whirlpool washer. (from Sears) They said they had it. Paid and waited. Three days later they sent email, cannot get it. They sell the washer. Went to amazon and ordered. Got it in 2 days. For 1/3 the cost. Again amazon has been the best site for getting products. At lease Sears did a refund to my credit card in 2-3 days. Partselect.com which I used first, I'm still waiting for a refund from 10-20-2013. They are the worst site to buy from.
I went to Sears.com to buy a set of tools and a few other things. I should've known not to order from them, I just had a bad feeling. The toolset I ordered apparently came from some dumb company from who knows where called "bestselling". I waited THREE weeks and nothing ever came, I called Sears and they had no clue why I was calling them because on their website, my delivery had gone to somewhere in ILLINOIS!, according to them, it was left on my porch but I live in California! The lady I spoke to barely spoke any English and was twisting everything I said around like she didn't hear me. I was livid! Then I start getting theses emails from Bestselling saying the merchandise was out of stock but never even bothered to tell me! I'm guessing the person who was writing them couldn't speak English either because the writing was awful! I will never deal with Sears again! This was terrible service.
Do not order online! I ordered a product due to be at my home by the 21st. U guys took the money out of my account and sent me a "your item has shipped" email. It didn't ship, I don't have the product, the 3rd party seller is dishonest and you won't give me a refund! I have called numerous times and nobody will do anything. Just cancel my order and give me a refund. This is why I shop with amazon, I won't ever order from u guys again.

I ordered a few items from Sears.com and I am very happy with the experience and the purchase. My order came on the date that they said it would, I got free shipping since my order was over $25, and I was happy with how my items were packed (i. E., in one box, there were two items, one was a box of 100 garbage bags and the other was laundry detergent, and they put the laundry detergent into a bubble bag so that it would not leak onto the rest of my order). I had received shipments from other companies where it looked like someone had thrown the items into the box and then slapped tape on it. Sears packed my box with meticulous care and I was impressed. I also had to call the 800 number about this order and the representative was very friendly and helpful. I will shop at Sears.com again!
Beware of Sears.com if the item is fulfilled by a "marketplace" vendor. One month after I was charged I still have no shipment and no refund from Sears.com or HNZONE (their 3rd party vendor). 2 emails and 3 calls to customer service have not worked yet, only that they are "researching" the order. The review on their site is being "reviewed", but the truth will be shown here.
I purchased $2000 refrigerator and purchased a warranty for $500 plus dollars. I have only had my refrigerator for 6 months and now it is not working! So I call Sears warranty phone number and they said it's going to be 2 weeks before someone can come out to look /repair it!
What I'm I supposed to do for two weeks without an refrigerator?
I have been calling Sears non stop and no one can help me. They hang up the phone on me not once but three times!

I have shopped at Sears for many years and saw great products on sale with low prices and I have seen bad products with high prices. It doesn't make it bad but its a good store trying to stay in business with all the competition out there. Returns are not a problem and that makes Sears good but I would not recommend their credit card and I would recommend you go with browsing in mind. Shop til you see what you need at the price you want and keep in mind the sales are usually at the end of the seasons when it comes to clothes. I like Sears in Canada and more in the US but currency exchanges keep me home when they get too high much like many of the products that Sears has to sell. Good store
I saw an article on MSN where it was suggested that Sears just give up. Yup, we wouldn't miss anything they offer. Poor quality and anyone that carries Kardashian anything can't be trusted with quality.
Despicable ethics, do not buy such warranty from sears. Total rip off. Sears does not stand behind the commitment written on the warranty booklet, good about collecting monthly premium and poor on delivery.
We bought a dishwasher few month ago. Since Sears installation charges almost double of the local plumber, we paid local for installation. During the process of moving, water leaking on the dinner room floor. After first try out washing, water won't drain completely. I called plumber for help. I was told that I have to call Sears, it was a default product. However, Sears call center in foreign country refuse arrange plumber even to take a look. I was told that they can ship me another one, if I can put the default one the box ready for moving.
I'm disappointed that my three-year-old Kenmore Elite washer is rusting out (around the bleach inlet on top of the machine). This is a toploading machine that must be very carefully loaded with a focus on balancing the load or it will "tilt" at least once, and one time it tilted (stopped to wait for me to re-balance it three times). I'm not so sure that I would get another machine that is without an agitator. The new ones have an impeller. Agitate, impel... next will be an urger, maybe?
I love Sears because of the nostalgia from my childhood. However, that's where my love of Sears ends. Their men's clothing is reasonably priced and of decent quality, however, the selection is severely limited. Everything else in the store is severely overpriced. Never ever pay the full regular price on electronics or appliances. The prices are very jacked up. I was recently in the market for a vacuum cleaner and check out sears since they had a huge selection in the store. I'm the type of shopper that want to check out a product in person and test it out if I know I'm going to spend a lot of money on it and have it for years to come. The particular model of vacuum cleaner I wanted wasn't available at Sears, however, they offered a lower end model for a higher price than the manufacturers website.
