Less than a year ago I purchased an ice maker from them. 2 months later it started making only a few ice cube at a time. I contacted them via chat. The guy blamed the problem on my fridge and told me that since the ice maker is still working somewhat then he could not replace it. When I purchased it the sales rep told me that it had a one year warranty. This was a lie. The ice maker stopped working completely and comes to find out, the warranty was only good for 3 months. I wasted $140 for nothing. They are liars and as crooked as it can be. Don't order from them. Stay away from Sears is my suggestion.
Sears PartsDirect has the worst customer service of any online company. After sending the wrong part when they were even given the correct part number, it took three attempts to get the wrong item returned and credited to my account. Then they did not credit me the full amount of purchase price and freight as they promised. Not only is their service non-existent, they have no integrity and do not keep their word.
I ordered a range hood replacement part on May 25,2021 with a delivery date of June 2,2021. I still do not have the part as of June 26,2021. I check online and there is no longer any information on my order I have called the 1-800 number numerous times and I am always told the computer system is being upgraded, please try again tomorrow. The help is worthless! I will tell my credit card to no pay for the item I have not received. My card was charged the day I placed the order. Do not waste your time and money with Sears PartsDirect. I wanted to give this ZERO stars, but I had to choose a minimum of 1 start to submit.
Even if website show part in Stock' it does not mean Search have it. In 2 weeks you will get an email oops, we do not have it. Just for fun today I get an e mail

Waited a month after parts were supposed to arrive and finally got someone on the phone after many attempts. Eventually canceled order and it showed up 2 months later. Had to ship it back to get my refund. Joke service don't do it.
1) online system would not allow me to purchase
2) had to call to order part and I specifically told them I needed part by the earlier delivery dated. Rep confirmed that with me.
3) I was not provided an order number over the phone
4) was told I would receive email of the order - I didn't
5) manage to get the order number off their Lengthy impossible automated system
6)looked up the order, it was the later delivery date
7) spent 2 days with numerous calls to only get their lengthy automated system which did not allow to talk to a real person
8) decided to pretend I was ordering another part, final got a live person
9) was told since this order was already in process we could not expedite the order
10) this is causing me extra work now.
Stay away from these yahoo's. I will never order an appliance part from them again.
I don't have enough space to write the entire story- Highlights- 1. I was recommended the wrong part 2. Said they would cancel it 3. It arrived and I had to return it 4. They never sent me a refund 5. Once I contacted them it was only a partial refund. Place is a nightmare to work with.
I ordered a part that was confirmed in stock by an actual customer service agent. That part was due to arrive in 48 hours. 24 hours later the status of my order was still "pending". Customer service told me they would contact member services to give me an update. They would contact me in 3-5 business days! Upon further questioning with my representative, the order would most likely be delayed due to a "supply chain issue". So a part that I need and was assured that it was in stock will now be at least 7 days out and more likely won't ever ship. Tell me that up front so I can order elsewhere rather than holding my money in your account to draw interest. Pathetic business practice. Oh right… there is no one to actually call to confirm any shipment at any time, that was in my second phone call to customer dis"service"
I ordered a refrigerator door handle. The website said it was in stock. They charged my Paypal account immediately upon placing the order but 2 weeks later I was notified the item was back ordered. I called for an estimated wait time. The agent said it would be delivered in one week. A week later I received another email saying the item was back ordered with not estimated time of shipment. After over a month I have received nothing and they still can't say if/when it will ever be available. So after they had my money for over a month I cancelled my order and will shop elsewhere.
I have an app on my phone that records my phone calls. I did this because I have had problems with sears and other companies in the past. So my part arrived damaged. Instead of just keeping the money and sending me a new part I was told I needed to get a refund and just order a new part at a discounted rate. It is so inconvenient to do all of that. And than at the end of the call he INSULTED ME! He said "sir just call back when you have more money." I have all of this recorded. I have never been so insulted in my life. And I will never order from them again. I don't think the value customers.
I thought Sears was a reputable company so I ordered a part from them. After finally receiving a backorder notification of two months I decided to cancel and get a refund. Here I am a month later with no refund, no answers. When I try to pull my account info up all I get is " OOPS ". All my info is gone. I have been trying for a month... every time I call they state their system is down. Yes I asked if they were hijacked. It concerns me. They have all of our info, banking records, etc... no help. She says she can't even send me an email confirmation that I called. What recourse can we take? Sears, NEVER again...
I ordered a hitch pin & cotter key to use on our lawn trailer to tow it behind the 3 wheeler for yard work. The pictures are right next to the part # and the description/cost. As you can see, I got 2 "Square Keys" for a Husquavarna and have no idea what those fit/go to. What I ordered does not even come close to what I got. I even called the company, spoke to a very nice woman who said she would have the correct items sent to me... I am still waiting. They also have the nerve to charge $9 for shipping and the parts cost under $6 total. Then they have the nerve to say they will not publish my review... of course not because I was an unhappy customer that got screwed!
1. I order a Control panel and it was the wrong color. For Two Days I asked SearsPartDirect for a Return Label.
2. Parts are not delivered as promised and contracting a Representative in America is impossible. Good Luck and Buyer Beware.
I ordered a part that they indicated was in stock and would ship out immediately. Then I never received any order confirmation I had to call customer service to even get an order number. I have been back to website several times and order just says pending. They keep telling me to wait 2-3 days and that it is a shipping problem from the manufacturer and they are requesting an update from them. Why are they contacting the manufacturer for an in stock part? They refuse to give me the manufacturer contact information so i can call myself. I wish I would have come across this site sooner perhaps it would have saved me some headaches. Sears Parts Direct is obviously a fraudulent website the only relief I may have is that I used PayPal and may have a chance to get my money back.
Ordered a part for my dryer that was "in stock". It was not. Part was delayed three times, and their support staff was zero help. They gave me two different shipping dates for when it would get to me and both were missed. This company is a complete fraud and should be shut down.
Will never do business with Sears PartsDirect again, very disappointing as we've bought many of our appliances from Sears. Their website said they had part in stock, part was on back order the whole time. They just gave me the run around for multiple days. Finally canceled and ordered from a legitimate seller.
Buyer Beware
This place sucks. This is the 2nd time they did the same thing to me. Refrigerator not working, ordered a new board that said "IN STOCK" then get an email 5 DAYS LATER stating, "Due to a change in the product availability, the item(s) for order W******* is(are) temporarily delayed. As soon as we have the estimated ship date, we'll provide it to you. You can track your order at any time online here. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause". Only reason I used them a second time was because their price was about $20 less than repairclinic.com. Skip the headaches and don't use sears.
What a bunch of scam artists they've become. Ordered an oven control board on 5/25/21 they listed as in stock. The very next day it went on backorder. It'll be a month this Friday & still no control board. They knew they didn't have the part, but that's how they get you. I got a few emails showing status changes & fictitious arrival dates. All lies. I called them twice. Chatted online a few times. Got the complete runaround. Now all of the sudden, their site is down. Hopefully, being investigated for fraud! Luckily, my credit card company is like having my very own pit-bull in my corner and they promptly refunded my money and filed a dispute against Sears. Buyer BEWARE for sure! Shop elsewhere!
After canceling water & air filter subscriptions, they sent 2 new ones & charged me. I now have to pay to return the parts, in order to get a refund - and spent over an hour on the phone with customer service agents getting it all figure out. I will never buy anything from any company affiliated with Sears, ever again.
I talked to 6 different people to get the recommended stacking kit. I had it express delivered since my family had been without a washing machine for 4 months, thanks to the unreliable Sears Home Warranty Service. They failed to deliver it expedited, even though I was charged an extra $30 dollars (for sending something that could have been overnight expressed for $5) to have it sent within 4 days. They failed to send it until the day it was due to arrive at my house, so I had to postpone the washer delivery for another week!
