There is definitely room for improvement in the shipping/delivery phase of purchasing from Seatingmind. Both times that I've placed an order, the tracking info provided stated "label made" but nothing after that. Several weeks passed without an update and when I reached out via customer service link, the items were shipped the same day and arrived two days later which makes me think they would have just sat there indefinitely if I hadn't reached out.
The chair is ok. Its a little more banged up than I was expecting, but is remanufactured so...
The color of the fabric online did not represent the chair that was delivered. Not sure if there was a mix-up, or if the color was just misrepresented.
The chair needs to be taller than its highest position. I have heard that you can get a stiffer hydraulic support for more height, but I'm not sure that is true, but I am a little low for my legs to be at a right angle. I am a big guy, but per the sizing chart, the model C should be able to accommodate me.

As other reviews have detailed, I received a notice that product shipped with a tracking number and it never shipped. It has been over 10 days. Customer service is rude and simply hangs up when asked for information.
I received my chair. While I didn't realize that Seatingmind.com sells "refurbished" office furniture, It seems that my chair is in overall "very good" condition. So for the price I'd say its worth it.
This company said they shipped my chair 10 days ago. FEDEX shows no delivery progress, only the completion of a delivery request. The origin is less than 200 miles from my house.
The company is not listed under resellerratings.com or the Better Business Bureau. I am very suspicious.

Good prices and good products but holding on to an order so long before shipping is not acceptable. I would have ordered last month if I knew this in advance.
Easy to find what I want and had good detailed information. Only, con is that no adjustment instructions came with the chair. Otherwise, I love it.
After ordering my chair and being assigned a tracking number, it became clear after 2 weeks it had never actually been shipped. I emailed and they responded a few days later to let me know they actually shipped it. I finally got the chair today, 3 weeks after ordering. The chair arrived with a huge fabric defect in the middle of the seat and the fabric was not the color I ordered. I called customer serice and was unable to reach a person to speak with. I left a message and sent another email. So far I have not heard back. If I can ever get in contact with the company, I'm going to return the chair. It's super disappointing. Do not order with this company!

The product that I received had been used and not brand new. The arms were all scratched up and there was some wear on the arm brackets. Not to happy knowing that I paid full priced for a used chair. They are sending new arms to replace the scratched up ones. The company responded quickly to my concerns.
Terrible. We were given conflicting shipping and delivery dates. We were given different shippers, with tracking numbers. No one (live person) would talk to us. I wanted to cancel but we had already been billed and had paid for the chair. One thing I know for sure. We will not order from this company again.
Pricing is great, and the chairs are top quality. We have had minor issues with shipments in the past, but their customer service team is very responsive, and they resolve issues quickly. Shipping times can be a bit slow, but we are very satisfied with the results.
Frankenstein Herman Miller chairs. All sorts of pieces parts in the two I have and both are absent the labels underneath to identify their origin. (they got that one right).
Tell ya what - if a bargain for this is ok with you - then get one because the price cannot be beaten but if you are all about the real deal just suck it up and pull out your $1k at a reputable retailer.
I have not received my order yet. I have followed up several times and even a tracking number was assigned and still have no chair delivered at my home.
Knowing the chair I purchased can run over $1000 dollars the prices Seatingmind offers are good. Overall not a bad experience. Chair was here within several weeks of ordering. I'd like a little more communication from the company on the progress of the purchase though.

Customer service was very informative too as I didn't know it takes between 10 to 15 business days to assemble the chair.
I selected the soft casters...and so glad I did. They don't show up as a line item on the order form, so just be aware of that when you order. They mention a limited warranty, but I didn't get any paperwork, so perhaps I imagined that. Also, I wish they had instructions on best way to remove the existing casters. They should pull straight off, but if the metal part is left behind, you'll have to grab onto it with pliers, and then hit the pliers upwards with a hammer, then they come out easily. But with lots of black grease.

Answer: This company may be legit, but from the research I have done online after my purchase experience with them, they totally scam people with their outrageous "restocking fee" policy.
Answer: Prices. But you're getting used stuff in god-only-knows condition. Stick with garage sales. These guys are shady. Beware.
