Courtney deserves a huge raise. Outstanding customer service, very thorough in assessing all my needs in its entirety, patient, and most of all a beautiful personality. I am ill, was stressed, Courtney made this experience stress-free. Under 20 mins, multiple storage units looked at, explained, contract done. What an asset to your company.

I reserved a storage unit on selfstorage.com that was advertised with a free first month for AAA members. I am 100% certain I entered my AAA number while making the reservation online. Now selfstorage.com is saying the number was not entered and they cannot honor the free month, even if I give them the number now. I have gone back and forth with their customer service and they won't budge. Total rip off.
We booked an outside 10x40 parking spot for our RV through SelfStorage.com / Sparefoot. When we arrived, we were taken to our spot, and it was clear that the RV would not fit. Not only was it NOT a 10x40 space, they had NO other such spaces available. The RVs and other vehicles that were already parked there, were crammed together with barely any room between them.
We are now scrambling to find storage space for our RV, because we can't keep it in our driveway, Most other places are already full, and we do not know what we are going to do! I doubt these cheats even care what kind of dire situations they cause for consumers.
We reserved a unit, and on the day we luckily called to ask a question to the storage unit 40 minutes away to find out that the unit did not exist. They said it was a parking space, that they called seflstorage.com and they wouldn't change the listing. We are moving and needed storage! Self Storage left us out in the snow! To add insult to injury Self Storage stated that they could get us something similar hours away, and they would help us search on google... WTF, why does that job exist. Qualifications: Must be stupid, and get paid for giving out wrong information.
Sparefoot was created by self storage industry insiders to create a "work-around" to negative online reviews! Apparently the public at large has had enough of bait-and-switch pricing, false advertising, fake contracts, aggressive Mafia-esque business tactics, and overt bad faith and evil dealings.
Imagine if a restaurant was on a city block with a few other restaurants, and these restaurants decided they were going to serve rotten vegetables and horse meat to their customers. The obvious reaction to this evil deed would be for the customers to rush to Yelp and hammer these restaurants' reputations until they cleaned up their business ethics, and sold edible food to their customers. But what if the restaurant owners decided to join together and create their own version of Yelp, where they could leave glowing, 5-star reviews of their restaurants, so they could continue defrauding the public and perpetrating evil deeds on society at large.
Well, Sparefoot is like the "other" Yelp! It was created by these evildoers in the self storage industry, who regularly perform illegal acts on their customer base, with no regard for honesty or business ethics.
It won't take long for the public to catch up to this scheme, hopefully!
