AFTER A LONG WAIT, I SHIPPED MY PHONE LIKE MANY OTHERS ON THIS SITE THINKING I WAS SELLING MY EXCELLENT CONDITION PHONE AND WAITED FOR MY PAYMENT SINCE 09/26/16 AND NEVER HEARD FROM THEM I WAS ALREADY RESIGNED THAT I LOST MY PHONE, BUT WHAT A SURPRISE I RECEIVED MY PHONE BACK YESTERDAY 11/04/16. I AM ASSUMING YOU GUYS WILL GET YOUR PHONES ALSO. GOOD LUCK! A. Z.
Being paid less than 1/3 of quote, ok fine... But now you're going to take WEEKS to disburse my payment?! Use somebody else, anyone has got to be better than these clowns... Two thumbs down. Would give a half star if possible.
I figured the $158 quote was reasonable for a cracked 16GB iPhone 5S so I printed out the label and prepared to send. Something made me look into this company more so I called - busy. Called again - busy. I thought it was odd that I had not received an email to even confirm I signed up so I tried to log in and I couldn't even do that. So I called again - busy. I did a search on the number and it led me to this site and I read ALL of the poor reviews. Luckily I didn't have to go through as much as the others but I could see that I would have been the next victim for sure.
Sent two I phone 6's and received email well it's been three weeks and I used there tracking number and it pops up but when I try and track it through usps or from my local post office still no trace when I email them I get no response when I call through there "normal business hours" I get the same recording saying I called at the wrong time! No check no emails nothing at all!
They quoted me $360 for my iphone6. I asked for them to send me boxes to ship and so I used their boxes. When i got notification they said it was only worth $56 so I called they returned call and said it was only worth $100 (BS!). They also said the 2nd box arrived opened and the other phone was stolen. (BS Again I bet!) THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM and their business line keeps saying I'm calling outside of business hours (BS again!)
They will entice you with a great "estimate" then once you send your phone they screw you royally My iPhone 6 estimated at $225 I was like wow ATandT said $85 Ill take it they come back and say its worth $35 and since once I sent them the hone I agreed to their terms and conditions which is they give you what they want almost nothing
STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIP OFF OF A COMPANY
I wish I would have read the reviews earlier! This is a COMPLETE scam! I had an estimate of $120 and they just emailed saying I'm getting $7 back! The only thing wrong was it wouldn't turn on. EVERYTHING else was in perfect condition, not even a SCRATCH on the screen or any other faults on the phone. I am LIVID.
Sent in a 6S iPhone and a 5S iPhone and got multiple e-mail messages back on the 6S. Received my check for the 6S of which BOUNCED at the bank! I have been unable to contact this company by e-mail or phone. They have BOTH my phones! They are thieves! Looking to find out how to report them to the FTC!
No stars at all! Sent my phone in and it never got delivered back to me or communicated to me about anything! They stole my phone! IPhone 6! So pissed off!
This story happened 2 years ago but I'm still not over it because I really needed the money.
I brought the phone for (close to) $300.00 (that was the price at the time). The phone was in great condition when I brought it (a couple scratches, hardly noticeable) and I kept it that way. Recently I tried to sell it for the soul purpose of the incapabiblity of phone networks. I tried selling it before but I'm not a good sales person. I hate selling things. So about a month ago, I was looking through the Internet for a way to sell the phone and came across this site "(sell your cell) ". A company that purchases used phones. I looked at the appraisal. It was a good amount. It was mentioned that they can refuse to buy it. Yet, they accepted it. (The company also recycles phones). Anyway, when I sent the phone there, took a long time for them to respond. I sent an email reading "I would like an appraisal before you do anything with the phone (in so many words) when they took to long, I called to find out what was going on... The representative told me that they will be giving me $10 TEN Dollars! For a phone that I purchased for close to & 300.00. I was furious. They need to be taken care of and it's been a while but I'm not letting go.
I had an offer on my iPhone 5S. For $88, thought I could get more. Found this company on Google... They gave estimate of $143. Even with an estimate I figured I'd come out okay. I sent the iPhone 5S with all attachments and original box. WRONG. They gave me 5% or $7, which seems to be their going price. I returned the email telling them to send it back. I received another email giving me a phone number that was never answered... And none of the links in the email work... Yes, this naïve consumer has truly been scammed. DO NOT SEND A PHONE TO THIS COMPANY AND EXPECT A FAIR PRICE!
Where did you see this that they got shut down I can report to usps to add to my complaint hoping to get my phone back I have all tracking information
As the Ops Manager of a luxury chauffeured transportation company, I was tasked with transitioning from AT&T to T-Mobile in an effort to save some additional money on our phone bill. I then decided to give Sell-Your-Cell a try as their online quote tool gave me a better price than the company I was familiar with using from past transactions (Lynx Buy Back). After sending them almost 20 iPhone 5s and several 6s Plus units they first claimed that they never received my package. Then they kept saying I should receive an email outlining the check amount I would receive over the course of the next two weeks. Now, they are again claiming that they can't find my phones. Thank god I didn't put my eggs in one basket and I sold some of the phones to T-Mobile and some to Lynx otherwise I would have had a total loss on this project. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
I'm so pissed I didn't read this review either! I just sent these guys my iPhone 6 Plus about 2 weeks ago when I got a quote around $400. Since I didn't get a call to confirm it was delivered I thought I should call. In which a female picked up and told me BS about them getting deliverys late once we get to it we'll send a email saying your phone is being processed and expect a quote after instected that was over a week ago still no email and now when you call you get prompt with voicemail saying you reached us after business hours... BOTTOM LINE THEY SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO THIS WITH OUR PROPERTY HOW CAN WE GET THESE PEOPLE PUNISHED! ON GOOGLE THEY ARE ONE OF THE FIRST SITES YOU SEE ITS LIKE THERE SETTING YOU UP FOR THIS!
Sell-your-Cell.com is a RIP OFF! I sent my old iPhone 5s and 5c which have been in Life Proof cases since we bought them. They offered me $255.00 for both phones. When they received the phone they offered me $7.00 for the Gold 5s. Yes $7.00! So I called them and the person I spoke with was just going off of a script left telling me that I am sorry for your frustration but let me see what I can do about the offer. So she put me on hold for 5 minutes and then told me $25.00. I told her to send my phones back. She kept reading off a script. Then when I asked to speak to her supervisor she says she's the supervisor. She makes another offer and I tell her at this point its not about the money. Even if she gave me original $255.00 offered I would not want to do business by a company that is scams their clients. So we go back and forth for about another 10 minutes and I finally get her to agree to ship them back. Lucky I read the Terms and conditions.
All the while she kept telling me that the phone had pressure damage because they were older phones and that no one else would give me a better deal. So I hope I get my original iPhones back or that they didn't take the electronics out.
Bottom line if its to good to be true it is.
Side note should have gone to U-Break i Fix (great company and got $140.00).
Sorry for the Rant but beware of scam sites.
I am full time Student and decided to sell my l phone 6 plus to this Company Sell your cell. Com, and i didn't like their service! I didn't read all the bad reviews before sending my l phone but as soon as i started reading all the reviews from other customers, i called them and told them that i wanted my i phone back asap! Of course they tried to talk to me and offered me a better price for my i phone, because they offered 63.00 dlls for my i phone 6 plus! Unbelievable!. The quote i got was 391.00, in their website! That i phone was in perfect condition, no scratches of any kind! Any way i said No to them so they offered me 200 dlls for my i phone and that was yesterday so i already got my 200 dlls in my Paypal account this morning. My Opinion is they are not honest at all... They give a high quote on their website and is just a scam because they offer very small amount after their " inspection" This people don't know what they re doing at all!. L felt like l took my i phone to a pawnshop and i think i will get a better price for my i phone if i would take it to a Pawnshop.!. L called this Company every day asking about my i phone, l called about 10 times until they offered a better price for my i phone... 63.00? No way! I will Never do business with this people ever again!

Anyone interested in the CLASS ACTION Suit contact me at *******@att.net
Sent in a mint IPhone 5 after being offered $117 for my phone. After about a week, I received an email indicating that, based on their assessment, my phone is valued at $7. Emailed them back and requested my phone be returned. I was advised someone will call me with an explanation within 24-48 hours. The next business day I called their number and requested return of my phone. I was, then, advised that I would need to speak with someone in the sales department but the entire team was in a meeting and someone will call me back. I received a call back as promised. Explanation for the $7 offer is because of scratches and a loose home button. Plus the rollout of the recent IPhone caused the price of used IPhones to come down. I was then offered $30 because they realized the initial offer of $7 was off and unreasonable. As I stated, the phone was mint condition and home button was tight and functional. I then requested my phone returned. Shortly thereafter I received an email reiterating their offer and reminding me that I will not get a second chance for this huge offer after it's expired. I knew that they will string me along and not return my phone. At that point, I filed a complaint with the local BBB. I'm still amazed that "businesses" like this are able to continue to operate with impunity even though complaints like this abounds online. I should have been smarter and looked up this site before doing business with them. Anyone considering this site should stay away.
There are under investigation by the FBI and FCC don't sent any phones to them I lost two phone all phone have ser# number so that how they are going to proceed Rip off
The company needs to be burned to the ground. I can no longer get a hold of them. Every time I call, I get the prerecorded business hours message. I can't even let them know I rejected their offer. They are forcing me to accept their offer. They say 5 days to call to accept or reject offer. There's been no communication. They are open6:30-3:00 Monday - Friday. I live in CT and called them on Thursday and Friday around 12pm Eastern time so they are opened, but when I called I got the automated message that I reached them outside normal business hours. Last time I checked if it's 12pm in CT, then it's 9:00am pacific time, so they are opened. Yet somehow, those times I called are outside normal business hours? Give me a f*ing break. They have my property and are refusing communication with. This is theft and they are violating their own terms and conditions. They even sent an email saying their accounting team is preparing my payment and I never accepted their offer. $72 for my iPhone 6s after a quote of $458. I have contacted both CT and NV Attorney Generals. If they can't help, then I'm getting a lawyer. Rest assure, this isn't over.
SEND MY USE I PHONE 5S I WAS COUTED$134 FOR IT THEY OFFER ME$20 DOLLARS FOR IT SAYING THAT IT SCREEN WAS BROKEN THE PHONE WAS IN GOOD CONDITION WHEN I SEND IT OUT THIS IS A SCAM SITE I WILL REPORTED TO BBB STAY OUT OF IT
I SENT SELL -YOUR CELL AND THEY NEVER RESOND TO MY CALLS WROTE THEM AT THAT ADDRESS AND NO CHECK AND OUT OF A GREAT PHONE DO NOT USE THIS SITE TOTAL RIP OFF CON MEN
I had a couple iPhones laying around I no longer needed. The first was a iPhone 5c with a broken screen that didn't work and nothing turned on. The offer the website gave in this condition was roughly 50-60 bucks which I though was reasonable. For the second iPhone I had was a 5s. This phone though was in great condition with no defects and worked great. The off I received for this one was between 130-140 bucks. So I'm expecting a check back in the range of 180-200. After sending it out it two weeks to receive a confirmation email and then another 3 weeks to do their inspection. I finally receive an email confirming they have inspected a phone and give me back $15, I thought if that's for the 5c I understand but it said nothing as to which phone they were talking about. I call them to confirm and after talking to them I realized the offer was for the 5s and that the 5c was to damaged. They go on to say well those offers are for factory sealed devices. Who in he hell has a factory sealed broken iPhone? She then consulted with someone and they said they could raise the total to $40. They said my iPhone 5s screen wasn't fitting properly and that I must have changed the screen on it. I had the phone its entire life from brand new til when I sent it to them. I asked them to send the phones back which they have said their going to do but we will see.
DO NOT SEND YOUR PHONE TO THEM
Whatever off they give you expect about 10-20% realistically. Although I can say their costumer service was very nice.
I wish I would of seen this total scam never received my money for my iPhone 6s Plus rose gold I've been trying to call them no one answers...
I'm pissed that I sent them an iPhone 6 Plus and got nothing how the hell can this website still be up!
