AFTER A LONG WAIT, I SHIPPED MY PHONE LIKE MANY OTHERS ON THIS SITE THINKING I WAS SELLING MY EXCELLENT CONDITION PHONE AND WAITED FOR MY PAYMENT SINCE 09/26/16 AND NEVER HEARD FROM THEM I WAS ALREADY RESIGNED THAT I LOST MY PHONE, BUT WHAT A SURPRISE I RECEIVED MY PHONE BACK YESTERDAY 11/04/16. I AM ASSUMING YOU GUYS WILL GET YOUR PHONES ALSO. GOOD LUCK! A. Z.
Being paid less than 1/3 of quote, ok fine... But now you're going to take WEEKS to disburse my payment?! Use somebody else, anyone has got to be better than these clowns... Two thumbs down. Would give a half star if possible.
I got a quote of $344 for my iPhone 6. I was stupid enough to send them my phone. Now I don't have the phone, didn't get the money and they don't respond to e-mails or vmails. Can't talk to a live person either. This is a huge scam - stay away from these bastards.
They give you an offer which is bait for customers to go with them and then when they receive and a month later they will email you and say that there was a crack or damage to phone (which mine was in excellent condition). Received $7 for the iPhone. This company is fraud. Sooner or later this company will get sued because what they are doing is fraud and illegal. JUST DON'T DO IT
From what i found out this company has been turned over to FTC (Federal Trade Commission) That is why no one is answering phone and no response from emails. They have been having a lot of complaints from this company and four other websites they run. From what i found out they where shut down last Thursday 9-29-16. They received my iphone 6 plus the day b4 ther is a possibility FTC will return our devices but who knows. I would file a complaint to the FTC to make sure you are documented and hopefully get what we deserve!
Wtf kind of business is this crap?! Getting ripped off Hella bad! These $#*!es are big time scammerz! Quote, $197.00 but in the end it says they owe me freaked 19.00 bucks only? Damn hoes! Hope they get shut down!
The scammed me as well. Quoted $350, offered $55, I refused and asked my phone to be sent back. Since then communication stopped. Their phone is stuck at outside office hrs voicemail. I am all for legal action against them. Lets all get together.
Sorry I didn't review this before I got sent a new phone in. Lets not let anyone else be scammed by them. Please contact the your Attorney General. The more register complaints the better my chances for getting a motion seeking a class action lawsuit. Which means they will have to pay all the consumers what they advertised. Please check back to this site can continue to post your experience about them. The company is owed by Brain Lemper and Jeffery Wyatt. Until the Class Action is filed you can also sue them yourself for deceptive practices.
This place is is a scam they offered me 75 dollars for an iPhone 6plus sent me a check and it bounced. I called them to ask why check bounces after bank told me they had insufficient funds and they wanted me to send proof. They also stated that they would call me back with an answer and the business closed rather than handle the problem. Will never do business with them again
Man I wished I had checked this site before using this scam of a business! I have only gotten one email that they received my device... no other communicating. No response to my emails and pre recorded crap about calling outside of business hours!? How can they just keep people's phones? Filed a complaint with BBB and looking at other avenues. Hopefully a class action or something... sooooo pissed off!
Do not ever send any electronics to this company! They will you rip you off! I sent two device Samsung notes quoted $96 and iPhone plus quoted $425. Took two month and sent an email: Samsung notes valued $0 and has been recycled; iPhone plus $59. I called them and asked to return the devices to me. They said both have been recycled.
This company is a scam. I sent two of my phones to sell-your-phones over 1 1/2 months with no response or payment from them. I tried contacting them without any response including a bogus voicemail. I plan on contacting the media to do an investigation. I just want my phones back!

Sell-your-cell.com quoted $338 for my (64 gig) iPhone 6 Plus and upon receipt they emailed me a $30 offer! I immediately emailed them declining the offer and demanded my iPhone be returned. Then I called them to do the same and was told it was recycled and the best they could do was an additional $25. WTF! I'm beyond pissed but don't know what I can do. It is obvious this is standard procedure! Solutions anyone?
I completed their form, and was told my phone was worth $110. I mailed them the phone, and got an email saying they were sending me $7! What a complete ripoff! And apparently, I'm not the only one who has had the same experience. Just wish I would have known before doing business with these con artists. AVOID THIS COMPANY!
This website is an absolute scam. I recently used them to recycle an iPhone 5c. I was initially excited by the website, because after choosing my phone model, it stated I could receive up to $107 for that phone (a good $20 more than similar websites). Since my phone was only one year old and in good working condition, I assumed I would receive close to that amount. I knew I would receive a little less because I hadn't sent the charger in with it, but I never expected quite as little as they gave me - $11. This site uses horrible false advertising to make you think you will get a lot for your phone. I will never use them again.
Honestly I am trying to take legal action against this fraud company/website. I sent my iPhone 6 about a month and a half ago, they sent an email about an estimate and I never accepted the offer, long story short they sent me a check of $26! And then about a week later was returned to me because it said it was a frozen/blocked account so I was charged a $35 fee for this returned check, unbelievable I have tried emailing and contacting and nothing this has been for over a month and on top of that the stupid voicemail says the same thing over and over. If anyone knows another phone or how I can contact these frauds please let me know, my email is *******@yahoo.com
Just found out FTC shut them down according to nugistics. They are hold all packages in sparks NV until they decide what to do with them. You may be able to track your shipment if you kept your tracking number or they emailed you a shipping conformation. All in all they were scamming people out of money for low balling offers different than what they offered online.
The worst of the worst. Complete and total scam company. Quoted $108, sent only $8. Can you believe it? An iPhone5s for $8... and they did the $108 IN WRITING! But since they are in Nevada, there is nothing you can do unless you want to fly to Nevada to file charges. They musty know this and keep operating this way. The Feds should shut them down!
I was given an estimate of $160. I received email correspondence from them all through the process. Then suddenly I received an email saying that a check for $22 had been sent. I called immediately and was told that there was wear on my phone that didn't exist. When I said I would rather have the phone back, I was informed that the phone had already been recycled and that I would have to take their offer. I stated that I didn't accept their offer. They claimed that they had sent an email with the offer and that after five days with no response they are entitled to assume my acceptance. I never received any such email. I was not allowed to speak with a supervisor. This is pure thievery, dishonest business practice. My only recourse is to warn as many people as possible. Don't use them. Please share this information with friends.
I got an estimate for my iPhone 5s for $110. So I sent the phone in. They emailed me once saying that my phone was locked, and because of that I had to call them. When I called them they said it was to late and sent me a $7 check. I said I wanted my phone back and they said no. It's policy and to make it right they would send me another $7 check. I would never use them again. I've used gazelle before a couple times and never had an issue. Stay away from this horrible company.
I want to make this clear to everyone, this website is a complete scam. I, like many others sent in a phone and have yet to receive a check. I have tried numerous times to call, email staff to see what's going on but no such luck. I even contacted Nevada BBB to file a complaint on fraudulent business activity. End result of that was an apology and they had been in contact with business owner and instructed to send phones back or pay out. However, per BBB they have no further authority on this matter. BBB wasn't able to help get my phone or even some type of compensation. Sadly, like many, I need to accept my lose. So, for those who are doing a site review prior to sending your phone DON'T DO IT, COMPLETE SCAM! U sell.com and Gazelle are dependable both of which I have used in the past. Hope this saves some person from going through the BS I did.
Respectively,
DC

DON'T DO IT, IT'S A COMPLETE SCAM!
I got a quote of $190 for my HTC One Max. Sent them my phone. A received an email that they had received my phone and it was in for inspection. 10 days later I hadn't heard from them. I called and they said that my phone had a cracked LCD screen and was worthless. They asked if I wanted them to dispose of it. I told them to send it back to me. A week went by and nothing. I called again and they said they didn't know why it was not sent back. Long story short, when I finally got it back I sent the phone to a competitor and they paid instantly and there was nothing wrong with my phone. Don't use this company.
I recently sent them my lg3 based on their ad they say 140 my phone was only 3mos old. They sent me one email saying they recieved it and one saying checks on its way. For 15.00 this place is total scam and please stay away.
Jacked out of a 128gb iPhone 6s, 2 weeks ago, wish I would have seen all these reviews first. Stay clear of these a-holes, I've contacted the UPS store they do business out of and local law enforcement (Reno) in hopes someone will investigate and sue these fraudsters and put their asses behind bars.
I cant believe I got scammed. I sent my I phone 6 got the package and all and I sent it never got any confirmation of anything I try emailing and got nothing try calling and keep getting that dam voicemail about calling in normal business hours
When a first issue, arises - typically parties can work out details... When a second issue surfaces - The company ONCE AGAIN ripped off another consumer! They use the excuse of telephone voice mail... Their email system is set as an auto-responder... Please do yourself a BIG favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Tip for consumers:
Click away from this site - as quickly as possible!!!
On October 5th I mailed two iphones to this company. An Iphone 6s Rosegold, and Iphone 5c. I have yet to receive any email or phone cal regarding my cell phones and I haven't gotten my money for them. This is an absolute SCAM! The cell phone number to this company doesn't even answer to allow you to speak to a representative. Do not sell your cell to these scam artists.
