1- the actual user experience is nothing like the videos they post. I suspect the videos are faked in someway.,ours did very little
2- there was a tiny little plastic wrapped cake that tasted like plastic wrap - I have had better cake in a gas station, not as good as chesp junk foods
3- you could probably find some cheap Chinese toys on temu to jump out of a box for a lot less that $65.00
Completely disappointed
What a fraud! This company was given 10 day lead time to get my package out and didn't deliver. When I requested a refund they told me that they would refund me the FedEx fee but otherwise the cake would eventually get to me so I was on my own. They don't answer their customer support phone number and told me I need to settle my claim for a refund through a 3rd party. BEWARE! I wouldn't waste your time.
These delivery dates are generally date specific. As in a birthday.
Order two weeks out. It doesn't come (supposed to on a Saturday). Doesn't come. They said "due to local delivery restrictions it is delayed until Monday". Like wtf? They didn't look into this two weeks ago when it was ordered. It has happened before.
But I figured a company that has stayed in business must have at least a few competent employees.
I was way off.
Did not work as advertised. A total waste and adding poor quality of cake and dollar store flowers the price was expensive for nothing
My daughter is in college far from us, as she will be without her family on her 21st birthday, I decided to make her happy by sending this surprise on her birthday, almost a week before I received an email saying that it would arrive sooner than I requested, this bothered me a lot since it takes a lot of money for things to not turn out as they are, I wrote and called and only saw justifications because the money was already on their side, there will be no more order on my part or from anyone who is in my hands to tell do not request their service, they are terrible
Customer service is never available never answer phones nor email I called over 100 times never got an answer I sent email nothing back
The kicker is that I paid for premium shipping expecting it to be delivered on time, but that didn't happen. They shipped a perishable cake 2 days ahead. My first order with them arrived just fine in the morning. I was expecting the same schedule for my last order, having paid for premium shipping. My order arrived at the end of the day, at the end of a kid's graduation party and thus didn't serve the purpose for which it was intended.
Their "cake" is mediocre at best and absolutely not worth $60.
I ordered a cake from this company to send to my brothers girlfriend and the delivery person left it outside (they live in Florida and it was in the summer). It was melted by the time she realized they have delivered it and none of it was edible. I never received an email or text about the delivery and she didn't either. I put both of ours down but neither of us heard anything and it sat outside for hours. When I reached out to the company they didn't respond. I completely forgot about it and emailed them again a while later to which they responded saying they could offer me a small discount but not a refund because I didn't reach out to them earlier. It wasn't cheap either. A small cake for everything plus shipping was $89.95. For that price it should be delivered correctly, what shipping am I paying for that's $25 and they don't make sure to actually hand it to the person?
I ordered this for my grandfather whom lives 1200 miles away, was recently hospitalized, and then moved to a nursing home; all within span of 2 weeks. His 83rd birthday was on 4/19. The delivery service marked the package as delivered on promised date which was great because this cake was literally the only thing he was going to have on his actual, and likely last, birthday this year. Come to find out, he did not receive. Investigation at the nursing home revealed there were not any packages received that afternoon as reported by the delivery company. I am distraught and disgusted almost beyond words. I only leave this review to warn others. Do not entrust your faith into the gift recipients receiving their packages. If something is marked as delivered, follow up. I purchased route protection and have been approved for a refund. But who cares. The package was much more important.
I had 2 cheesecakes@ $60 each sent to my son for his birthday. I ordered in plenty of time. They let me know they could only manage a date 5 days later. They were sent via FedEx or UPS, to son's address, one hour away from Send a Cake. Total charge to me: $168+. Excessive shipping expense, never related to me in invoice. Showed up on credit card statement today.Make certain all shipping and handling are stated if you buy. I was told the cheesecakes were very good, but cost was excessive and not shared. Live and learn.
Answer: Terrible Customer service. They provide a phone number but I've ben on hold for a least an hour (two different days) and they never pick up. When you tap to leave a message... the mailbox if full. Their email responses I think are AI. There is no name at the bottom and they are not helpful.
Answer: If you wind them up properly and put them in the place in the box where they were originally put. Probably won't work as well as when you first got it from the company though.
