I put 5 star to warn people who think the 5 stars maybe genuine. There not. Everyone gets ripped off, just look at the reviews. While its being serviced you get a call from a London number telling you that you must have the brake fluid changed the engine flushed to clear the carbon build up? Oil has to be a 'special' oil etc etc. They want hundreds of pounds more with an underlying threat that you won't get your car back if it isn't done. Meanwhile the garage servicing the car have absolutely no idea what is going on. It's daylight robbery and should be stopped.
Having been pressured into paying for work to be done to my car after failing the MOT and service I booked with servicing plop, (I was told it was too dangerous to move from the forecourt), I paid £1700. Turns out that the majority of work I was charged for did not take place. An independent mechanic checked it over for me and took photos. I paid this much basically for 2 tyres! I've reported them to trading standards and will take them to court for theft if my refund is not processed within 7 days

My just passed MOT with advisory for front disc n pads!
They collected the car then rang me to say it was" too dangerous to return to my address!" It was advisory 3days prior!
Charged me a total of over £1,000 for 2 front discs n pads,
£138 for a diagnostic I got no report on!
£110 engine flush
£130 for brake fluid!

Would have left no stars if possible as didn't receive any service. Asked for 2 weeks who will be collecting my £25,000 car as wasn't going to just release to anyone.
Came to today less than 48 hours to collection and still didn't have an answer for me.
Spoke to there very unhelpful web chat service who cancelled(on my request) then followed up by saying "it was just about to be booked in too".
Why they didn't just say that to start with then book it in beats me.
Stay clear of these cowboys.
Servicing Stop do not like keeping their Customers Updated. I had my car booked in for a full service and mot for 8/9/21. I received an email this morning to say that my car was going to a different garage. One which i had moved because of their terrible reviews on Here. They booked it back into this awful garage again without notifying me. I only fond out when i received this email this morning which garage it was going into. Needless to say i have cancelled that.
Don't think you'll end up paying for a cheap service, I'll soon add up and customer service is worse than s**t they just don't care, apart from saying I need an engine flush, brake fluid change because it's illegal? (The brake fluid was changed less than 12 months ago) special fuel treatment and apparently special engine oil they wanted another £340 on top of the £97 already paid. I asked for the air filter to be changed and they changed the pollen filter for an extra £140! How the filters are £22, and it takes between 6-15 mins to change, it's only in the footwell of the car and no tools are needed. Your car will not get returned unless you pay the extra money even when you query the wrong work, stick to your local garage it's far cheaper in the end. Avoid these plastic mechanics working for a money grabbing $#*!e company. I'm pi***d off. Oh and they don't record calls how convenient for them.
The collection service is rubbish as it seems like most do not show when they say.
They will find hundreds of pounds worth of false work that needs to be done then lie to you or threaten you if you dont pay. They are a shambles without any morals. The told me my aircon dosnt work even though I was using it the day before, said my engine light was on and needs investigating which it wasnt, gave me special oil and fuel treatment that I didnt need.

Some of the bad reviews on here seem to be about this company being late to pick up the car. I think they're much worse than that, essentially a big scam. They take your car, say they will do a service & MOT then ring you later in the day to say they've done other work which they are very vague about. The amount varies but I was charged an extra £400. It is made very clear that unless you pay immediately you will have a problem getting your car back. They say they will send you an itemised invoice but then never do. When I got my car back I realised they had failed to do the most basic things (side light bulb needed replacing, 3 tyres worn). Now, a few weeks after a "full service" the car won't start. I know they're cheap but please, please don't use them. At best you will be scammed, at worst you could be involved in an accident due to the negligence of this company.
Car taken for a service, asked for an extra £390 to complete, said wouldn't return car until paid. I refused, didn't do any of the service, had to chase to get car returned, finally dropped back off at 8.30 pm. No service done. Refused refund of the £95 already paid. 80 miles driven on car, another customers address and details left on the back seat.
Avoid at all costs. All other derogatory reviews are very accurate. Arranged full service and MOT which I was advised would be done locally only to find the garage used was some 40 miles away. Original date was cancelled and although it was done some 4 days later, as seems to be there normal practice, along came the demand for extra works and costs sighting totalling unnecessary work. One cost was a demand fo £66.50 to replace front number plate, then came the speal for uprated oil and the need to replace brake fluids, all at highly inflated prices. This seems to be there natural makeup. Just AVOID them at any cost, they are full of bull$#*!.
Awful service! NOT RECOMMENDED! At all, customer service is totally ZERO as they don't answer your call or email, totally Misleading the customers, I've booked £94.46 for full service & MOT after 60% online discount so says it would cost £157 otherwise. Examples, on their website says 60% discount when you book online, that's totally untrue, also on the advert the car meant to be returned between 16:00 -18:00 on day of service or MOT that's untrue too, because they returned my car next day, neither given any updates where bout the car was, paid them for full service & mot £639.09, I got unnecessary charged about 40%, like pollen filter for £71 + vat, it will only cost £10 - 15 when you buy and about 5 minutes job for to change... what a rip off!
Do not use this company! They had my car for 4 days and I could not contact anyone. I called the police to find my car that they had failed the MOT on for having no water in my window screen washer pump and quoted over £200 just for that part. I took my car straight to the garage they used for the MOT who asked no questions and just changed it to a pass! Service stop quoted me over £800 for "the work needing done" they did not stamp my book for the "full service" I could not get through to anyone from this company and had to pretend I wanted another car serviced. After submitting the form, my phone rang within 2 minutes with an adviser confirming I wanted my car collected. I explained that this was the only way I could get through to anyone and he said he would call me back, I never got a phone call!
I was stupid and did not read any other reviews apart from the ones on their own site, which they have clearly written themselves.

Booked service/mot and paid for it, the next day was told the service date had changed to a week later which didn't work for me, asked for a refund as clearly they couldn't supply what was requested and paid for but was told this would cost me £25!
Trying to get hold of customer services to sort issue out is a joke.

Paid for full service I had booked for 4th july only day off essential worker got call 2 days before saying that they couldn't find a garage? Explained I couldn't change date because of work commitments asked them to return my payment? Got refund 15 days later minus £25 as they said I cancelled the appointment? What they couldn't find a garage, hahaha don't touch this company.
I've used this company for the past few years, second time I was mostly shocked with the service! They were late with dropping of my car as usual - kept it for the weekend when the car was collected on Friday morning and it should be done the same day.
I was asked to pay 1200 for a full service for a Fiat 500! I refused therefore cost was reduced to 800.
After getting my car back I have noticed that my Service book is missing. I was fighting to get it back for further 2 moths. I am afraid the garage lost it and I was sent a new book with no other history than the one done by the scam ServicingStop company. Please be aware and look for a local garage. This year my full service and MOT cost me 200 in total. This is the cost for servicing and mot on a small car. Be careful of scams companies like this one!
Said the extra work would be over £900 when we asked the garage direct they said they could do it for £270. Ended up being shouted at by the local garage owner so we had the work done elsewhere. Unfortunately, we had already paid for the MOT and Service and of course, you have to pay for the 'special oil' £24.00 + VAT. AVOID!

Today i had my car serviced in kent via this rubbish service. Charged £118 for a service then get a call tried to fob me off with extra £185 just had my invoice and becareful on oil £24.99 and they already do the work if you dont pay they wont release the car. So in total the whole price was £157.99 instead of £118.

This company really disgust me! I was enticed with their cheap online prices. Plus being backed by the Dragon Dens influence. Only to be found by total cowboys! For a simple service I have paid £425! I have complained through their email system but with still no response through their five to seven working day response time. Still no response. They offered me a £10 discount to give them them a good review on Trustpilot (Which I'm sure is a breach of Trustpilot review policy) This company needs to be avoided at all costs!
Booked a service. Date was confirmed and I prepaid.
Day before collecting vehicle I had a missed call.
Nobody turned up on day of collection. No direct number to call. Just a chat on line option.
Eventually found out, the missed call was Service Stop telling me they couldn't meet the appointment!
No text, no email… just them calling once, not getting a reply and just cancelling my service.
The payment they took instantly will now take up to 10 working days to refund to my account, even though instant bank transfers are available universally by banks…

Well I cannot believe how badly as a customer you get treated. Happy to take your pre payment from you but then fail to release your car as agreed with absolutely no contact to explain it will not be arriving as stated. I contacted the garage direct who in fairness warned me upon pick up that Servicing Stop are horrendous to deal with and will try to add extra costs and they confirmed the car was ready to be returned but they could not get any reply from them. I have tried via the online chat portal to ascertain 24 hours later where my car is and I am told as per the script of upselling, i need to wait for the call from the advisor to discuss my service report. I explained i do not need any chat, it was a service, nothing more and yet here I am 2 days later with no resolution still waiting for the car to be released, still waiting for a pointless call.
Had the misfortune of using servicing stop for a service and MOT. The price seemed reasonable and there was a further discount for advance part payment. They did then work requested but then I got a phone call to say other essential work was need and they could not release the car until this was done and paid for. Instead of the approximately £157 bill I was expecting they wanted £1,382.07 before they would release the car. Here are some of the prices, headlamp alignment £65.40, £16.82 rear bulb replacement, £296.19 to replace the fan belt. Then I had to chase them for over 2 weeks to get the invoice and they didnt inform me which garage the car was taken to. Avoid them like the plague.!
After Servicing stop done my car annual service, they firstly overcharge the service-literally almost 50% more than another garage I actually prefer to use. After the service I had problems with my car, several issues including loose parts, battery constantly dying - never happend before. We have left emails, trying to contact them, use the chat function but still no support of contact. I will never go back to them and will not recommend them at all.
They owe me nearly 6K for service work undertaken for them. They use unethical tactics to sell services. They charge customers around £17 for an Mot but are supposed to pay garages £35! They would always question us if we did not fail a vehicle! AVOID!
Booked for a service and mot, quoted at £200, had a call back with a quote of £1500, decided not to go ahead with everything but the "essentials for mot" and the bill came up to £1100, the car came back with many fauls (didn't have any before) oil leak, and a set of "new tires" that were not new at all. Managed to speak to the guy that collected and delivered the car, he said "I can tell you where they are, lots of people have this issue" went in there and they said "call servicing stop we just to what they ask us, obviusly servicing stop has no way to contact them, nobody answers the phone.
Shocking price, should be reported to trading standards. Sent car for MOT, car not returned for 2 days, instead of few hours and they tried to charge me £60 for blade, £360 for windscreen jet wash and other things like change of oil... hundreds pounds. DO NOT USE
Stay clear! The service is no where near as described. Pick up 8-10 am is not true, I had to contact them on live chat at gone 10am then got call at 10:30 from garage saying they will pick car up at 12 but didn't turn up til 1. Also didn't return car til 6:30pm so all I'm all late. Also I had a red service light come up on dash after service so absolute rubbish. Never again!
