I put 5 star to warn people who think the 5 stars maybe genuine. There not. Everyone gets ripped off, just look at the reviews. While its being serviced you get a call from a London number telling you that you must have the brake fluid changed the engine flushed to clear the carbon build up? Oil has to be a 'special' oil etc etc. They want hundreds of pounds more with an underlying threat that you won't get your car back if it isn't done. Meanwhile the garage servicing the car have absolutely no idea what is going on. It's daylight robbery and should be stopped.
Having been pressured into paying for work to be done to my car after failing the MOT and service I booked with servicing plop, (I was told it was too dangerous to move from the forecourt), I paid £1700. Turns out that the majority of work I was charged for did not take place. An independent mechanic checked it over for me and took photos. I paid this much basically for 2 tyres! I've reported them to trading standards and will take them to court for theft if my refund is not processed within 7 days
They wanted to try and charge over £3000 for work that only cost £1200 at my local garage that is rediculas.
They are a third party who garages work with it get more customers, so the garage has to make no it's profit then servicing stop added £1800 on top of that!
That's outrageous and unjustifiable.
I have no problem with the garage they used, but Servicing stop price gouge on their end.
They give the garages they work with a bad name because of their excessive pricing strategy.
Tip for consumers:
Don't do it, go to your local garage you may save 100s or 1000s

ROBBING! I cancelled my service on the 21st December and i have emailed numerous of times to no avail on getting my money back (£122). I will be taking this further and taking legal action on them. Stay clear at all costs
Dont pay them, block pay assist from taking any money from your bank or just leave it empty lol. Get it all for free. Debt collectors dont purchase their debts if you dont want to be out of pocket lmao.
I paid for a full service with Servicing stop which turned out to be a complete rip off. I was quoted approx £750 for repairs and parts to fit new plugs and an ignition coil, which they said was needed. There was also some other minor work included. I refused their quote and went elsewhere. The other mechanic (Very reputable) took a look at the car and concluded (Correctly) that all that was needed was new spark plugs. A bill for £70 was paid for fitting at home and the car is perfect. BEWARE, this company will quote you stupid prices for parts and labour and will even tell you that unnecessary work is required. AVOID at all costs.
Absolute scam, booked car for service and MOT over 2 months ago, and had to keep on chasing tpo confirm it was ok to collect. Called this morning, day before due for collection, and I was told the garage the normally use near me didnt work with them anymore. What an absolute bunch of losers, totally unprofessional. Would give ZERO starts if i could. Good job I didnt pay upfront, would probably have stolen my money.
Stay away, will report to trading standards.

Shocking experience with Servicing Stop. Avoid at all cost! When booking my Mazda in for a Full Service I made clear, in writing, that Specialist Oil was required. On receiving the car back I asked the garage if this had been done and they said no. On checking the oil level, they had overfilled it, well beyond the maximum mark, so I had to take it back to the garage for them to empty out some of the oil.
I tried many times to phone Servicing Stop all I got was an answerphone – it is completely impossible to speak with anyone, and although I sent at least four emails requesting them to phone me, this was ignored. No apology was given by the garage, or by Servicing Stop. It left me feeling if such a basic matter such as the oil was carelessly done, what else had they not bothered about. I would never use them again and if you look at the volume of negative reviews you would be wise not to as well.
Don't use these I booked well in advance for a full car service and they never turned up on the day they were supposed to tried ringing never answer their phones I waiting in all day for them a waste of time with these. Don't waste your time or money go to a proper garage I know it's more money but at least it's a better service
Wish I could review without having to waste one star.
Booked a full service and I was told I had to pay extra £36 to flush my engine. Who does a full service without flushing the engines?
On top of that I was made to acquire 42mins in telephone bill to a premium number by putting me on hold only to tell me that they are not taking MOT only bookings which could have been avoided if that info was made available on their website.
I booked the full service and MOT together. They gave me a MOT Fail first. I certainly did not want to buy your service to get a MOT fail. Why didn't do the service first? Very disappointing service!
Never use this platform!
Tip for consumers:
Never use this platform, or you'll get a MOT fail.

Giving one star because zero isn't an option. They're thieves, they will get your car picked and then will mention fine print because yours is diesel/ULEZ car or any BS excuse to rob money off you. They'll have a reason to rip you off. Also they will list down issues that your car has and will ask extortionate amount of money to fix them. Do yourself a favour and don't book them.

Have had an atrocious time trying to get my car repaired. Spent over £3500 in advance and waited 4 MONTHS for my car to not be repaired. They never answer the phone or emails.
Quick enough to charge you, then never do the work and leave it for an independent garage to do properly the first time.
Never use them.

Never use Servicing Stop.

None - they took my money but didn't repair my car.
I have used servicing stop in the past and have had fine experiences
I used in June this year.
Firstly they were two hours late collecting the car despite confirming twice by phone. The man who came to collect said he wasn't told a time. Then they returned my car with a crack in the windscreen. They left my car in a no parking zone with no warning they were returning the car and I was at work, despite me telling them via phone not to park it there risking a huge fine. I have called >10 times and sent 6 complaint emails with no response. Awful.
Was late picking my car up took my car in the morning was due to be returned between 4 pm and 6 pm it is now 19.35 having just come off the phone to the police to report my car stolen no contact from the company unable to contact them through any phone call. Biggest scammers. Read the reviews on site Jabber four pages of horrendous reviews the company is a joke how is this company is still being able to run from as far as 2016 this company has been receiving dreadful reviews do not under any circumstances book a service with this company
Extraordinarly bad. Impossible to get hold of on the phone, didn't turn up on the booked day, impossible to get a refund, and if you do go ahead they fleece you for any additional work needed. Cut out this incompetent, outdated middle man and just use a local garage.
The worst service I ever received. A complete day late collecting the car as the customer ahead of me had refused to return the replacement car.due to him being scammed. When the garage did come and collect they were advising me not to go with this company as it had brought shame to the company with there problems. The full service is nothing but a oil change. Then they phone you up and tell you you need a list of things doing that you don't including telling you need to pay extra to have filters and brake fluid and extra priced oil.which I presumed was part of the service. Which cost me nearly 200pounds.please be warned it is a scam and all the parts you could get and fit for a quarter of the price on ebay
Tip for consumers:
Don't use scam from start to finish

The full service at 183pounds .which was nothing but a oil change
Booked with them well in advance for an MOT and Service. Was contacted the day before the MOT and Service was due to be told the local dealer no longer does this service for them. When did this happen, I asked?
Bull$#*! reply's covering their tracks.
Totally let down by them and will not recommend them to anyone.
Glad I did not pay in advance!
I booked my car in for a service. They fetched the car, and told me the price. They then rang and said it was ready but it had various things wrong and would cost me another £900. I refused and they were very rude and slammed down the phone.the garage brought it back and said there was nothing wrong with the car and said they were always doing this.so BEWARE this company
I'm a woman, who doesn't know much about cars. Had my car serviced with The Garage at Shurlock Road as I'm a carer working in the area. Now I've just had my MOT done with them and I'm £750 out of pocket.
They kept my car for 10 days, saying there's rust and brakes and exhaust issue. Communication was poor but I'm at their whim as they failed my MOT and I had to agree to fix it as I need my car for work.
Joke is… it got returned to me today with a headlight not working and rear reverse light not working.
Service Stop - maybe do background checks on your garages before sending us to them!
Very terrible service. Unbelievably expensive, loads of hidden charges. After paying the service/labour charge of £97 upfront, when car got to the garage and they then asked for another £450. I asked them what the £97 paid covered and details of the additional £450. No concrete and clear response than ‘‘you should have been made aware there may extra costs''
When I declined to go ahead with the service and asked for my refund, I was told the £97 is gone and will need to pay £46 to release the car even if I no longer want to go ahead with the service.
Honestly, have no choice so I paid to release my car. Besides, lost complete confidence in this company/garage. Complete scamming and horrifying experience.

Do not use. These people are scammers. Your vehicle will be held to ransom till you pay their enormous and spurious charges. Don't be fooled bythe cheap opening price. If it's too good to be true, it usually is. And in this case... it is.

Unfortunately I have only just found this website. The reviews on the Stop Servicing website must be made up by their staff! My experience follows the pattern of others here. When it was getting to the time for my car to be returned I had the phone call from Chris at Servicing Stop about the specialist oil and new brake fluid, I argued as to why it wasn't discussed earlier and never having this experience before. The usual spill and my car being held at an unknown location forced me to pay double the original quote. Whilst paying the link tried to snatch an extra £39 towards next year's service. This business needs investigating as people are being scammed daily.
Do not use this company or fall for the reputable looking website. They will rob you by creating false repairs, and charging astronomically for it. And will extort you by refusing to give back your car if you question their pricings. They are not signed up to any sort of customer complaints policy and not member of any industry body.
Avoid this company. They have charged me £2k which I had to pay before I could get the car returned. Car still has the same problems as before, which they supposedly 'fixed' and charged a fortune. They collected my car and took it to a garage 50 miles away so popping back in is not an option.
Tip for consumers:
Dreadful.
Use ANYONE but these guys for your servicing needs. They seem cheap, but hit you with all the extras in the small print.
They say no work will be done until approved, but that isnt the case. They apparently had to use special oil fro my pickup, and only informed me when it was time to pay. They then threatened to not release the vehicle from the garage unless I paid. Instead of the £108 quoted with all my vehicle details. It end up being an additional £55. On top of that Eugene was extremely rude and unhelpful, and I suspect deliberately had my vehicle delivered late. I waited outside work until just before 7pm before taking on my hour journey home.
I received no garage paperwork or check sheets for the service, only a computer generated invoice from the head office. I have no faith that I even have new oil in the car.
Dont waste your time or your money!

Servicing Stop was founded in 2008, by brothers Oly Richmond and Toby Richmond. Their business plan took advantage of a 2003 change of law by the European Commision called the Block Exemption Regulation. This meant that vehicle services of different brands of car could now be carried out by independent garages as well as garages contracted to the branded dealerships and manufacturers.
In 2009, Servicing Stop featured on the BBC television programme Dragons Den where the company directors attempted to secure additional investment into the company. Despite receiving offers from three of the Dragons (Peter Jones, James Caan and Deborah Meaden), the brothers ultimately decided to continue the development of the business independently.
