So Shaadi.com consultants or founder has not jacked up the website till date. I am South African on the website and it keeps kicking me off because I don't have +91 Indian number. So what is the use of a website to search for a partner if it keeps kicking a person off due to not having a +91 number. I thought this is a international website that is to help people globally? So I will keep getting kicked off because I need an Indian number

I would have given zero, if there was a zero. This app is designed to steal your hard earned money and keep you on their app so they can make even more money. They watch and control everything you do on that app. So many scammers and false invitations from people, they don't even know they've sent you and invitation.

My account as a premium (paid) member was taken offline without any reason given by Shaadi customer service.

The only way of reinstating my account as advised by Shaadi was that I would have to provide proof of ID like passport, Aadhar card etc. for verification.

Shaadi adopt a sledgehammer approach to verifying profiles - upload your personal ID(passport, Aadhar card etc.) or your profile will be taken offline and eventually deleted.

Bad luck if you've paid for your Shaadi membership as there are no refunds or partial refunds offered even though they have deleted your profile without explanation.

Also for overseas users of Shaadi, there is no contact number for Shaadi customer service available - only an email address and if you're a premium member, a "chat" option.

My profile was blocked after 7 days, they demanded i send them my photo id. When they charged me 3 months premium at the start they didnt demand anything, just wanted money.
They know if they ask people for photograghic id then no one would pay these scammers.

They do not screen the fake profiles. The cat fishers make multiple profiles with photos of themselves with beards at various stages of growth! It's the same damn face!
They allow way too many profiles without a photo.

Please use shaadi.com very carefully. It is not a match making site but a money making site, you will be asked to keep upgrading for money and you think you are about to be successful but I perceive this is the world's largest scammer

Extremely worst customer service. When you raise a ticket they dont even respond. The system is very poorly maintained. Never ever use any of their premium services like "select Shaadi". Its a complete scam. They rob peoples money. I was a paid member and all of a sudden my account got deleted. I have sent all my documents but absolutely no response. I doubt if there is any complaint cell or customer service inspite of me paying for their premium service. Never sign up for any paid service in SHAADI.com

I paid, $87.00 and got back nothing and no connections are real. The Shadi's customer service is greedy and disappointing and not real candidates, all are either from other country or other states when comes to the USA. Just don't sign up for money. Free to pass time, or to just chill, you can log in and have some rediculou fun.

shaadi.com is a fraud site. They ask for my passport scan. I send them a scan but took out the passport number. They insisted that they need my passport number, When i ask why they need my passport number they could not answer it. BEWARE, Total scam site. Do not give them your personal information they will steal your ID and sell it.

I paid for full service. They asked for personal identification which is an unreasonable request AFTER purchase. No refund. No response. I reported to BBB but they even they didn't get a response back. F these crooks.

I amare really disappointed by the response of this matrimony. By mistake some transactions of mine was diverted to shaadi.com's account and after long waiting, even after the complaint to customer care, my money was refunded but not the whole amount, and i wonder for what reason they deducted the amount, when I had informed that it was by mistake the amount was transacted.

Don't use this I think they have children as software devs at this place.

Also, Sitejabber site has a bug it won't load photos. I guess this is why we need more good people in software, people in it now can't handle it at all.

It's a shame that websites go scot free by just putting a disclaimer. Shaadi.com should be sued for the mental, emotional and financial harassment caused to families. I'm disappointed that our cybercrime cell is unable to do much to track such monsters down even after registering a complaint.

Shame on these youngsters who dupe people and are a curse on humanity. For the sake of money they can fall to any extent! Feel sorry for their parents and family members that their kids turned out to be such terrible human beings!

I have taken a paid membership(SH*******) for a period for my son which was expired two weeks ago.
As a member i was entitled to access certain no of phones, unlimited chat and email and all these services i have availed to a certain extent, to my utter disbelief all the facilities which i have availed after duly payment of all charges put on hidden mode from me means i cant view it now though i have already paid.

Doesn't it shows that they are just <B>bunch of thugs<B> whose only motive is to extract money from the innocent gullible customer, who never thought that they have pay every time to access same set of information.

Stringent punitive action has required to be against these people so that they will think twice in future before doing it again.

I have spend thousands of dollars from number of years, still not find one. They have IT technicians on the website sending you old and fake profiles 99.5% is fake ones. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I have given 1 star. That also not worth it.

They purposely block your profile and "demand" that you to send your PAN card, Aadhar card, Voting Card, Drivers license which they sell to marketing agencies and scammers. After I sent my documents to them, I started receiving tons of these nonsense phone calls and offers from various companies and they all had my personal details. Prior to that, I never received any of these calls. Never, under any condition, provide your personal sensitive documents to these guys. They do not have any privacy policy on how these sensitive documents are stored.

Shaadi.com is by far the biggest Indian Martimonial Site in the world so I understand that not everyone's happy using it. Many customers also means many problems. But let's be fair here: It is one of the best sites you will find! My cousin used Shaadi.com with success. Only difference is that happy customers usually don't leave a review.

Let's face the fact that Shaadi.com is not bad at all. If you weren't lucky you can still use an alternative like IndiraShanta.com. But in my opinion the negative reviews here are not fair.
