My review of this website is nothing to do with the site or the customer service it is about the quality of the products. I spent some time in Ireland with my husband 24 years ago. While we were there we really enjoyed ourselves and we traveled around the coast of Ireland for 2 week. While we were on the Aran Islands I purchased a beautiful Irish Aran Cardigan. This cardigan was wonderful, it was very warm and suitable for every day use. I could machine wash it regularly and it never shrunk also the wool was spun in a traditional way that it was not itchy. When moving home some time ago the cardigan got misplaced. I spent some time looking for a replacemant cardigan but was never able to find one. I purchased similar ones online but none of these were the same quality as the original one. Then I came across this website and one of the cardigans was the same as the one I used to own. While about to give up on my search I decided to take one chance and purchase the cardigan. I am delighted to say when I got the cardigan I was very happy. As soon as I took the cardigan from the box I could feel it was the same quality as the old one I used to own. I would recomend the Hand Knits on shamrockgift.com to anyone as I am sure you will be as happy with them as I am.
A terrible experience. Ordered on November 30,2010 for Christmas. Call after call and I finally spoke to a rep. Tons of excuses; full of "blarney". Unfortunately, I kept believing and trusting because I love Irish people. It's now January 12,2011 and I have no item, no refund and the number to call has a full mailbox! I'm out 80 dollars and the sweater I wanted to give my grandson for his first Christmas is never coming. DON'T EVER ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!
I filed a claim through PayPal, they investigated and credited my account for the full amount. I'll stay away from Shamrockgift.com in the future.
Placed an order 8/2/17, my bank account was charged 8/3/17. Never received a shipping confirmation. Emails and phone calls to customer service are not acknowledged or returned. Still waiting for delivery.
I took the risk and it worked fine. Shipment took 4 days only and the product is of good quality, merino wool feels so nice.
I bought a wedding cup from this site. I got this wedding cup engraved for a good friend of mine. The delivery took 2 weeks to get to me. I expected delivery to be a bit faster but when I got the wedding cup I was very happy with the quality of it. The engraving on the wedding cup was in an excellent Celtic font. Overall I would agree with another review of this website, the quality of the products are excellent and are really made in ireland.
I have to updated my originally scoring of this sight from 1 to 5! I left the comments below so others can see how big the turnaround on this is. This site has new ownership and I was contacted via email from the new owner. He apologized for what happened on my previous purchase and offered to send me my item at no charge. I admit I was a bit hesitant waiting for the email to come that asked for my credit card just to confirm but it never happened and I recieved my item today! I think his customer servicer goes above and beyond. He could have viewed past experiences by customers as "not his problem" but he took ownership of it and made it better.
***I order on Dec 3 for a Christmas gift. When the delivery did not take place in the promised 7-10 business days I left a voicemail. My call was returned and and I was told the package went out that day. I then waited another 7 business days and did not receive the item. I called and was told it was due to weather in Ireland and out of their control. I understand the weather but I asked why they could not notify customers as it was guaranteed for arrival prior to Christmas. The rep became rude and kept blaming the weather. Well big shocker the item never arrived and they still charged my credit card!
In the past week I have left 3 voicemails and 2 emails with no response. I just called my credit card company and they resolved the charge for me.
If you want to be a reputable business it helps to have decent customer service and it helps even more to deliver what you sold the customer!
Looks like the same as a number of other reviews, I ordered product and was charged but no delivery and no response to calls and e mails.
I am not big into reviewing websites or products after I have used them although after seeing a similar review to my experience with Shamrocgift I decided to share.
Last November (2010) I order a gift from this website. I found it difficult to get in touch with someone there. My call was taken a few times by different and there seemed to be a bit of confusion as to what was happening with my order. I waited about 4 weeks for the gift to be delivered and when it was not I decided to seek a refund. The same as before it took me some calls to get an answer but after 2 weeks I did get a refund.
Four weeks ago I got an email and when I saw the subject "shamrockgift" I was going to delete it immediately however I opened it expecting to see some promotional material. The email was from the websites new owner. The email said that they had just purchased the website and they had seen from previous records that there was a problem with the order that I placed with them and he would like to fix the problem. The email was very nice and personal so I decided to reply. I informed them him that I had eventually gotten a refund and everything was ok, I no longer wanted the gift. I then got an email back saying they wanted to send me something small for the trouble I had experienced with the website. I agreed not really expecting anything but to my surprise a week later I received a beautiful Irish gift along with an beautiful box of Irish Chocolates. I must say that what started as a small disaster has now ended very nicely and it shows me that there are still websites out there that are focused on customer satisfaction.

Answer: Is there a different phone number to contact these people at? The one on their website keeps going to voicemail. I haven't heard anything since placing the order on 6-8-12... horrible customer service
