Bad customer service

I concur with all the reviews about customer service, nothing but crickets chirping when you email them for follow up with an order. I ordered a t shirt, credit card was hit with pending charge, then went away, was not charged (whew). However when tried contacting them why via 3 emails, nothing. Oh well, was also sent an email verifying my order with a note saying save 10 % on my next order. Now that's funny, will never use these guys again, a simple reply email would have been nice, guess they need to go to customer service school

Great, great gifts!

Great, great gifts! Shamrock is our "go to" source for baby gifts, Christmas, and special presents (we're a New York City-based business of almost 75 employees, and the President of our company is Irish) – and hand Knit Aran sweaters and cardigans have become the firm's signature gift – to much success – and REALLY loved by the recipients! Three newborn babies in the last six months have received the baby cardigans, and two more due at the end of the year will also be given hand-knit wear. Quality is excellent, and presentation and gift-wrapping the best. VERY surprised by negative comments. My experience and dealing with Shamrock has been great. Customer Service even went the extra mile helping with a rush delivery. Highly recommend!

I ordered 2 bottles of perfume for my wife for Mother's Day. After receiving an order confirmation in email I expected to get some kind of shipping confirmation shortly thereafter. When a week passed and no shipping confirmation I emailed the address on the order confirmation and didn't get a response. After another 4 days passed with no response I filled out their contact form on the website and to this day still haven't received a response. When I search for the item it is showing they are out of stock, but when I place the original order there were 12 in stock. Luckily, at least so far, my credit card hasn't been charged but they did get an approval code. I won't be ordering from this company again.

One month ago I bought an Irish t-shirt from this website. Two days after they sent me an e-mail asking me to confirm the billing and shipping address... I was really HAPPY! In some weeks I was going to have that precious t-shirt for my boyfriend! But, NO. That was not the case... Since that moment on I had not had any further news about the parcel or the payment. I ordered this t-shirt as a birthday present, but... I am afraid that I am not going to have it for that day (in one week!), but for Christmas or Holy Week, maybe. I only beg for an e-mail from the company giving me information. Is it so difficult?!

Ripped off
November 12, 2022

A few years back I ordered a sweater for $100.00 and had it sent to my daughter in law at her new apartment. It turns out tshe gave me a bad address so I contacted Shamrock and was told, after repeated emails and calls, that I had to deal with UPS. I contacted UPS who told me they returned the box to Shamrock. I begged for Shamrock to please replace it and send it out to my daughter and I never got anyone ever to return one email or even call. To this day they email me with all the new products etc. and I am just saying if you want to just throw your money away give it to St. Jude or anyone else, just don't order from these scammers.

Worst customer service
December 21, 2016

Do not order from this company. After emailing them multiple times to see why my Irish breakfast order was not delivered (it was a gift), they told me the order was mistakenly cancelled. I placed the order in late November and today, three days before Christmas they tell me the order is lost and they have no food left. Leaving me with no time to send a gift. Thanks for nothing shamrock gifts. Also, your blasé attitude to customer service is remarkable

I purchased the Aran Funnel Neck Jacket from ShamrockGift along with a few other gifts for a friends birthday. The process was quick and the site was easy to navigate. There were no hiccups with the buying process. The delivery was prompt and the quality of the items I purchased are beyond what I was expecting!
Amazing products which will last for years - definitely worth every penny and I will be shopping here again.

Had used ShamrockGift in the past and had a couple of issues with the order but the product was amazing. Decided to give them another try after the change in management and I must say the shopping experience was vastly improved. I had a couple of queries about the product which were answered quickly with obvious product knowledge.

I was very impressed with the company from start to finish and would definitely recommend using them for Irish Clothing again!

I was very happy to get a call from the shamrock gifts team over my disappointment in not getting my package delivered. They apologized and made sure they made things right. I am happy that they are taking care of their customers concerns. They have turned an nhappy customer into a happy one.

Ordered several Guinness products from ShamrockGift and I have to say that the turn around was very quick and the person I spoke to was very helpful. I needed to amend my order and so I contacted them directly - nothing was too much trouble and I will definitely be using this site again when I am looking for a gift. I am also a fan of the free delivery!

I have just placed our second order with Shamrockgift and we are extremely happy with the service. Both orders were shipped to me within 2-3 days and they are very nice. I feel bad that some others had a bad experience but it being in the gift industry at Christmas time must be a difficult task.

I agree with several reviewers that this site appears to be a scam. I have never spoken to a rep, not once. Can't ge through with a phone call, an e-mail or a fax (although these are listed on the website). I ordered Nov. 29,2010 and no package yet. I can't imagine what the positive reviewers did to get their orders. Please share. I am very disappointed because I ordered the item for my best friend and, while he understands, I don't.

December 24th no delivery (ordered the first week of December). And yes I was able to talk with a "rep" twice. They make promises and then don't deliver. BEWARE this place is a total scam. You will not receive your order. Extremely disappointed in the lies, they're like the cheap camera/electronic sites that promise then don't ever send the item.

Bottle cooler

BEWARE!

BEWARE! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered a picture frame over six months ago and am only getting the run around. After waiting 8 weeks, I emailed customer service, no reponse. I finally spoke with someone on the phone, was told it was on backorder. Gave it time (the entire summer) and called in November. Robert gave me his personal cell number (I've heard that one before...) and told me I'd receive my order in two weeks, which would be by the end of November. It is now one week before Christmas and I'm still waiting. I guess they have so many problems they forgot about mine? They have stolen my money! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

I ordered a sweater as a Christmas gift. They sen the wrong size... late. I talked to someone at the company who said to return it to their office in New York. That was over 6 weeks ago and I have yet to receive the new sweater in the correct size. I have left over six voice mail messages, called Ireland (voice mail box was full there) and countless emails. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

I agree with all the horrible reviews. Don't waste your time. It's not worth your aggravation. You won't get your package and you'll lose your money. We placed our order on 11/15/2010 as a gift for our infant daughter. The package never arrived. After several failed attempts, I was finally able to get through using the 800 number. I described the situation and explained how I couldn't get through using the 800 number. The rep gave me his cell phone number, and it's been difficult even reaching him on the cell phone. I spoke with him twice and each time he said he would follow up on the order and the folks in IRE and that the package would be re-sent. We never received the package. After speaking with him today, on the third occasion, he has promised that we will be refunded. I'm not hopeful that our credit card will actually be credited. Unfortunately, I think the website is a scam, as is **!

This site should not be in business. I bought a claddagh wedding cup 2 weeks ahead of when i needed it with 2 day shipping. In a week they called and said that engraving machine broke, so they cannot put one line on it. Fine, even though it should take less than a week to realize the engraving machine is not working. So i said ship it now, i will engrave locally. As the time was running out (2day delivery was not there.) i started calling - 4 days in a row and it was going straight to voice mail at anytime of the day. Voicemail? Is this a merchant or grandma's house?
Finally i got a hold of them and they will refind (yet to see how quickly that will happen). Also said they were sorry they could not be of better help. Freaking kidding me? It is a wedding cup that was late as a gift. This shamrockgift.com is a bunch of douchebags. I hope this business goes bust and they will all get their a$$es kicked.
