I shopped for a Jacket on Dec 26th to ship to Mexico and got it by Jan 4th with no incidents, everything was perfect, and I loved the product and the service overall. I didn't need to contact them, make any returns, etc. so I can't review based on those needs.
Don't waste your time trying to order from Shopbop—it's a complete scam. This nightmare began when I chose some clothes and asked my brother to place the order. On the delivery day, he found he was locked out of his account. Customer support coldly informed him he was permanently banned from the system, without offering any explanation. Then, I asked my brother's girlfriend to place an order, but the same thing happened to her. Desperate and determined, I traveled to the city to place the order myself over the phone with an operator. An hour later, my order was canceled, and my account was blocked. Their heartless email read, "Thanks for ordering with us. Unfortunately, after our initial review of your account, we have opted not to proceed with the transaction." This is blatant trolling and a scam. It's disgraceful that Amazon owns this fraudulent company.
Was concerned about legitimacy of the site but the came through and I got new balance shoes on 50% discount and was shipped pretty fast. The tracking was accurate. The shoes are genuine and brand new without any defect. I did go back to the site for good deals but there are lot of premium brands options but not many New balance, Vans, Nike collection so you will have to keep monitoring for your brand item frequently

Excellent experience! I purchased a watch and got the free express shipping due to the amount spent. I made the purchase late night on a Wednesday and by the following Monday it had arrived to me. Very impressive given I live in Melbourne, Australia. The order process was simple and the few communications I received were clear and easy to understand. I would highly recommend this site, especially for any Australian consumers looking to save hundreds on items rather than buying domestically.

Hard to find items can be found at shopbop the customer service staff is very knowledgeable and well trained. If an item is damaged or off in any manner shopbop is quick to make it right, so I have full faith in ordering from this web site. One of kind items are a big draw to the site, but the real joy of the site is sheer volume of fabulous items to search through. Shopbop has even more items now- I just hope they stay fantastic. Even the great stores are shutting down due to poor management and a declining economy.

I'm in the southern hemisphere. I ordered on Friday and the parcel arrived on Sunday from overseas which surprised me. However the pair of pretty sandal I bought has already been worn out after just one summer, sad.

Shopbop advertises a "free return" policy which specifies that you have 15 days from when you place your order to have the return back to them (in their hands) or you pay a $10.00 shipping fee. They also specify that return shipping can take up to 7 business days so returns must fit into this time frame. This has left me with, on average, about 2-3 days from time of delivery in which to return this item without being charged. No thanks. I'm a busy working mother, and I don't always have time to open a package, let alone try on and decide whether or not to keep expensive items, within 2-3 days. I've shipped the items back as quickly as I reasonably can, and still faced the fee.
I won't be shopping on this website until this policy changes. A 28 day return window from time of delivery to when return is mailed out is fair and the industry standard. A 15 day window- nope.

The cost and hassle of returning items (if they are eligible) is annoying. I have had multiple items arrive that were not the correct material or dimensions described, and the pictures don't always accurately portray the item. I have found a couple of good finds though - but not enough to keep me coming back. Meh.

I've discovered this company through amazon.com, they are a subsidiary of them if you didn't know. Their items usually arrive within 3 days to Germany and Switzerland and there is never a surprise in customs and duties, just use the prepay option, sometimes you even get some money back if you overpaid. The selection with over 400 designers is great and all prices in USD (which is awesome because of the current exchange rate). I love to purchase jeans and bags on there above all, totally worth it, happy customer.:-)

I've been ordering from this website for years and it's good. They have a large selection, and they occasionally offer great coupon codes. It's relatively easy to return an item if it doesn't fit although I did have an issue once.
I would say that I've had better service at revolve.com so if an item is available there, I will buy it there since shipping is also quicker. But shopbop is pretty good. I'll look to see if Revolve or Nordstrom is offering the same item. If not, I'll buy it from shopbop.

In the past I've had a good experience with ShopBop.
Recently they've changed their terms & conditions so that you can't cancel orders anymore. I asked for my order to be cancelled within 20 minutes of placing it, they advised they couldn't. So now I have to wait for the goods to be shipped internationally and pay for the return myself.
Personally I find this insulting. It's so wasteful and greedy, and nobody can be bothered to reply to my customer service queries.
ShopBop, you've lost me for good.
Let everyone be warned that they only care about their sales and not about their customers.

Ordered a Tory Burch smartphone wristlet from Shopbop but there was some discoloration on the logo that was pretty obvious. Contacted customer service to have it return internationally and they made everything such a breeze for me. Within a week of returning my item, I received the replacement (which was in perfect condition) as I mentioned I would be away soon after.
The whole customer service experience was nothing but fabulous and I certainly would recommend to anyone who wants to have fuss free shopping and highly commendable customer service.

Been a Shopbop member for years now. Used to like it a lot but the new policy now is ridiculous. They give you a small window to return (they have to receive your return items 15 days from the day your package is delivered to you-- so really you have about week to return, transit might take 7 days). And then it takes 7-10 business days for them to process refund. Other companies provide a much more reasonable return window and also process refund faster. People buy things online because it's convenient, and Shopbop's current/updated policy is making it pretty inconvenient now

Shopbop is another great site for contemporary clothing and accessories, no question. They have great variety, great buyers, fair return policy and good customer

CONS:
Offers and coupon codes are extremely rare. If they knew the amount of business they routinely lost to competitor sites (like revolveclothing, for one) because all the other sites offer more frequent deals and better sales, I think they'd change their sales cycles. From personal experience, I always have some coupon code to revolve and other like boutiques with the same designers. I will always choose other sites over shopbop's.
Would also love it if all accessories had photo options of a model wearing the items.
I do frequent shopbop for their lookbooks to then purchase on other sites, and will buy from shopbop only when there is a particular item that is exclusively carried there.

Excellent! I have been shopping with Shopbop for 3 years and I have never had a problem. I ordered a pair of shoes marked "final sale" and the shoes did not fit me, shoes were running extremely small. Shopbop did not hesitate to suggest I should return the final sale shoes, I did and was fully refunded. Amazing customer services. I often buy designer stuff and I have never received any of the items in less than perfect condition.

I really like this online store. I have used them several times. When I have returned an item, it hasn't been a problem. They have a great selection of clothing, shoes, and other accessories. I particularly like the large variety of jeans. I bought a couple of pairs. They are very cute, unique, and comfortable. Overall, shopping with shopbop has been a very positive experience.

I tried to shop a new True Religion shorts from this website. They show you the measurements of the cloth on the online shopping page. But, when I received the order, I found that the measurements are nowhere close to the ones shown on the site. Firstly, they keep us waiting for a long time to receive the order and secondly, they send us such improper orders so irresponsibly. I have never had such a bad experience with any of the online shopping sites before. In fact, now I have really become a great fan of the other fashion shopping site called the fsession.com. I have shopped so many times from them and they have been consistently making me happy with the way they treat their customers.

I ordered 2 items but they sent to me wrong order! I sent email to them to inform and were "requested" to have the incorrect items back... They did not mention anything about status of my order at all! All they could do was to "ask" for their wrong package back! I rang their customer service and one of the rudest ladies on earth attended to me. She was bossy and rude. In the end she cancelled my order without me knowing and make a refund to me instead! Over priced and since they belong to Amazon now, they aren't as good to deal with as they were before. They should not charge sales tax for shipments going outside of Wisconsin where they are located. Amazon's imposing rules destroyed the site and I rarely shop there anymore. Way over priced for the same products you can get elsewhere cheaper.

Got a pair of Paige Hoxton leather pants on sale. Yes they were 50% off however that does not allow them to sell obviously worn and used items. There were mud stains on the bottom of pants and a tear of leather around the pocket. They are refunding me in full however I just can't believe they sell worn and dirty clothes. They were still $680 Australian on sale...

Bought a 400 dollar jumpsuit. Received a 20 dollar shirt instead. There was no return package also. In the shipping confirmation it clearly stated it was a jumpsuit. When i spoke to customer service they said they never had it in stock. They apologized for misleading but it is obvious plain stealing.

For a month already my order is stuck somewhere and all parties including Shopbop are pointing to each other and forwarding the problem back and forth. So I'm in situation now that either my order will simply gone stucked or I have to pay for sending it back. So they cannot ship order to me, but happy to get it back for additional money. That's a scam.
