I shopped for a Jacket on Dec 26th to ship to Mexico and got it by Jan 4th with no incidents, everything was perfect, and I loved the product and the service overall. I didn't need to contact them, make any returns, etc. so I can't review based on those needs.
Don't waste your time trying to order from Shopbop—it's a complete scam. This nightmare began when I chose some clothes and asked my brother to place the order. On the delivery day, he found he was locked out of his account. Customer support coldly informed him he was permanently banned from the system, without offering any explanation. Then, I asked my brother's girlfriend to place an order, but the same thing happened to her. Desperate and determined, I traveled to the city to place the order myself over the phone with an operator. An hour later, my order was canceled, and my account was blocked. Their heartless email read, "Thanks for ordering with us. Unfortunately, after our initial review of your account, we have opted not to proceed with the transaction." This is blatant trolling and a scam. It's disgraceful that Amazon owns this fraudulent company.
I have bought quite a few times from this site and I'm pretty happy with the customer service. Unfortunately I tried to buy a specific belt a few times and they keep sending me the wrong item, I eventually gave up. But returning the items was ok and i did get a refund.

I purchased a purse for my daughter's birthday. Wanted to be sure she received on time so I had it shipped directly to her. I paid for it to be gift boxed and 2 days after it was delivered I received an email from them that they could not gift box because they didn't have a box to fit it, and they advised they would credit my cc for the fee I paid for the gift box. I replied to the email questioning why they didn't inform me before it shipped. They never replied. Very unhappy that my daughter's birthday present arrived unwrapped. I will not do business with them again!

Superb selection of diff brands. On one shipment, I ordered a Marc By Marc Jacobs item and it was perfectly packaged and I received it in less than 3 days. However, they're shipping options are tricky. For Canadian customers, I highly recommend the Postal delivery option... it's not as fast as the Express delivery
With Shopbop Global option nor the Express delivery option, but there's a lesser chance your parcel will get wacked by import/brokerage fees with the Postal delivery option. I've erred by choosing the Express delivery option and was wacked hard! On a seperate order of another Marc by Marc Jacobs item, I chose the Postal delivery option and got absolutely zero import/brokerage fees... score! :)

I order from Shopbop.com very often. Not so good customer service. But great items and basic pieces. The shipping is a little long. But I love everything I get from them. The best sales! Never have I had a issue.

Worst experience ever. I m definitely going to share it. Got the purchase of the Agolde jeans for my wife in February 2022 and after a month and 3-4 wearings the skin on jeans got burst. We ve called to Shopbop and shared the photos of the crack. We are aware that normally the companies give up to 6 months as guarantee on clothes and 1 as guarantee for shoes. So we expected to get a service or return the item as guaranteed one. The item was not even washed at all and after one month it is not usable anymore. What we ve got as solution from Shopbop is nothing (no return as time passed and no guarantee at all). I ll check for sure if it possible to sell the clothes with no guarantee at all from the legal point of view. I m living in Europe and it s hard even imagine such an attitude to the customer.

I ordered three bags and only lost money. I was charged over £420 and never received bags or money refund. I was told that my order has been cancelled but they forget to return my money. Don't know what to do next because £420 is a lot of money! I wanna cry

Purchased Robert Clergerie shoes. Fake. Paid $280AU as indicated but without my knowledge until I looked at my bank statement was charged another $160 for duties taxes etc. what a scam. Will never purchase again.

This is a terrible place to shop. Not only the delivery is long (3 entire weeks) & the item itself is defective. Return? Yea, that would cost additional USD 35 to return a USD180 product (almost 20%). It felt as if Shopbop is trying to sell off their defective items to international customers knowing that they won't return due to the hassle & cost. Somehow, i feel really cheated & disappointed with Shopbop. Will i buy again from them? A definite no.
Hence, think 100 times before buying from this place. There are better place in the market to buy such as Nordstorm, Revolve, FarFetch & etc. These place provide a better customer services as well compared to Shopbop. What a waste.

Horrible customer service! Having a difficult time signing in to member account. So I called 1800# to get help. The CS rep basically said I cant help you. I asked for a manager and after 18 minutes of being on hold, Stephanie got on the phone, she said I'm not sure why you cant sign in and I can't reset your account because you have an AOL email address. She also said she could not take payment over the phone... Neimans, Bloomingdale, Bergdorf and countless other companies take payment over the phone with just basic information... but not shopbop... hummmm... Will NEVER shop here!

Have just been told that I will be charged for "refusal costs" and "import duties" for a parcel that apparently has been refused by me, however your delivery service never told me that they tried to deliver 3 times? I also tried to pay online for the delivery but they didn't let me me, saying that they only take cash.
My intention was to receive the goods and was not aware that I "refused" the goods?
Thanks for charging me import duties and refusal fees for delivery I had every intention of receiving. These costs nearly amount to the actual delivery cost.

Customer Service is superb, even though I couldn't cancel an order once. But I can't do that at ASOS or Sephora either, the computerized systems are just so fast they can't cancel it, so think well before clicking. They ship through the amazon network and I got my package to Vancouver in less than 3 days, right on time for an event I had. I found the merchandise to be of excellent quality and perfectly wrapped.

However, the item was not delivered and when I reached out to them, they denied the promised delivery date and did not return my overnight shipping fee. I have purchased 3 pairs of Levi's 501 skinny jeans. Size 24 purchased was exactly same as size 25... but as per Shopbop it is not their problem but the customer's. Instead of helping with the refund and covering the return shipping costs they have claimed that they are not responsible for sizing. But as the jeans are obviously faulty it is the seller who should manege that with the manufacturer instead of client being responsible for unnecessary costs. Super unhelpful.

I have returned to shopbop a top by Nili Lotan plus mother green jeans they have received the goods but no refund! They have received the package according to Australia post tracking I. Early September 2023 but the are full of lies! Most dissatisfying experience with this company… please do your homework before you buys goods from them.

Poor delivery services in Romania
Poor delivery services in Romania, since they work with DHL which refuses to deliver the parcel without: additional forms, personal info and moreover to pay the transport fee again since the invoice was issued with the total amount (product + fee + duties). I didn't received the parcel and I decided to let it go. It is a shame!

Ordered a $92.00 bodysuit, was sent a $28.00 pair of panties. Called them, explained the situation, they apologized and sent me what should have been the right thing (in 2 sizes, so I effectively bought 2 more). The 2 replacement "bodysuits" arrived and lo and behold, 2 more pairs of $28.00 panties! I have spent $276.00 this week on this website and gotten 0% of what I wanted. God awful service!

CONSUMER ALERT! HIGH RISK SELLER! ShopBop has an ongoing pattern of consumer violations specific tp refunds. Customers are not receiving rightful refunds and/or waiting lengthy and unacceptable periods of time for receipt of a lawful refund. Moreover, consumers purchasing ShopBop items via Amazon are also victim to violations pursuant to significantly delayed and/or non-receipt of refunds. Customers can initiate a dispute claims with their credit card company, submit a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, and also notify the Madison, WI Attorney General's office of their consumer violation. Shame on ShopBop for their unprofessional, unacceptable, and unlawful business practices!

Horrible Customer Service
I ordered a Cleobella bag from this site. These next days are my worst shopping experience in my life. They kept me waiting for my order whole week without any email confirmation or explaination. When I received my bag, it looks like there is s. O used it before. I sent an email to complain and asked to return it. Once again, I had been waiting for a long long time. Finally, there is an email sent to me but I could not return this order because I did'nt comply their Terms and Conditions. All things I did were sent an email to them. Does sending complaint email to them mean to not comply their Terms and Conditions? I am so disappointed that I did not asked again.
Luckily, I have owned a trendy bag after 3 days order at a new website named fsession.com that my friend recommended me. There is no need to come around and find out the reputed website again because I have Fsession.

I placed an order for a pair of Veja sneakers at Shopbop. The sneakers cost US$120. I entered the promo code provided in the website. The checkout showed that I succeeded in having a 15% off discount. That means I just paid US$102 for the product.
However, I found that US$120 were deducted from my credit card account. I asked the shop to do immediate follow-up and return US$18.00 to my card account.
I have sent six emails to the Customer Service for enquiry, but they have not responded to any of my request. I am extremely disappointed with their lack of response and their service.
Tip for consumers:
Not recommended to shop at Shopbop!
