I shopped for a Jacket on Dec 26th to ship to Mexico and got it by Jan 4th with no incidents, everything was perfect, and I loved the product and the service overall. I didn't need to contact them, make any returns, etc. so I can't review based on those needs.
Don't waste your time trying to order from Shopbop—it's a complete scam. This nightmare began when I chose some clothes and asked my brother to place the order. On the delivery day, he found he was locked out of his account. Customer support coldly informed him he was permanently banned from the system, without offering any explanation. Then, I asked my brother's girlfriend to place an order, but the same thing happened to her. Desperate and determined, I traveled to the city to place the order myself over the phone with an operator. An hour later, my order was canceled, and my account was blocked. Their heartless email read, "Thanks for ordering with us. Unfortunately, after our initial review of your account, we have opted not to proceed with the transaction." This is blatant trolling and a scam. It's disgraceful that Amazon owns this fraudulent company.
It takes 2 weeks to return and package and then another 4-5 to process the refund? No thanks. Revolve clothing is free two day returns and delivery! Shopbop you need to update this.

1st advertised APP15 promo code as 15% off first "app purchase" then told me I've purchased from them before. Then I receive email apologizing why some other code didn't work and why and I responded that the code they referenced was NOT the code I was attempting to use. Gen a different person replied that they don't honor that coupon for existing customers. HINT: don't advertise with misleading false statements! Then I receive my order. All sale items so I thought. Got charged full price for the most expensive item even though it was advertised on sale. I WISH I had screen shot! Futile attempts to communicate that perhaps SB made an error. In fact I was told after letting them know that I would escalate, that they reviewed ALL the purchases of this particular shoe during the sale and everyone paid full price. That does NOT explain anything, it only confirms we all got screwed. I'll never shop here again. I typically only shop at Revolve and I'll never stray again. ShopBop, you have a lot to learn. Scam all the way.

This website is an online scam and needs to be reported to the police. They enclosed a prepaid label for returns and then said I should not have used it, it went to the wrong address!

Shopbop charged my credit card, and my purchase was waiting to ship. They now blocked my account and i can't see what is happening! Don't buy with them, they are not reliable!

I made a purchase, they took my funds and sent an order confirmation then after three days when I chased them up for a shipping confirmation they informed me that they have not taken the funds but would not send the confirmation of this to the bank to have my money released.
Further to this they run a scam on their website that informs you of free express shipping right up until you go to pay when they hit you with $10 USD shipping.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

Bought an item on the 15th, it's the shipped a week later and it still hasn't moved from the initial place. Slow as hell, wouldn't recommend unless you're shopping for Christmas in Easter.

HORRIBLE customer service. INACCURATE SIZE information on their website, and as a result i had to lose on duty/ tax (which their customer service refused to refund). Dont buy from them if you need to buy GST on your shopping.

I ordered backpacks from shopbop.com which cost about $150 in total.
I was asked to login, either using shopbop.com account or amazon.com account. Since I didn't have any existing account, I created a new Amazon account using the link that shopbop.com provided. Once the account was created, I entered all the necessary detail (card, address, etc) for purchasing the backpacks.
Once I clicked the purchase button, it showed me the order details page. I immediately checked my inbox for order confirmation email but didn't get any. Kept checking for a couple of hours and it never came.
A few hours later, I tried to login to shopbop.com on my mobile phone. To my surprise, I kept getting error messages saying that the account doesn't exist! I went back to my desktop to login and received same error messages! I tried to login on amazon.com without using their link and it said the account doesn't exist! That's when I realised I've been scammed.
I immediately called my bank to cancel my card. The bank staff told me that since the transaction is still pending, the matter will be monitored and investigated. If shopbop.com proceed to charge my card then a dispute will be initiated. Luckily, I managed to screenshot the order detail page for proof.
I tried to login again after I called my bank and it was indeed still not working. Out of curiosity, I created a new account using the same email address that I had used previously. After signing up and successful login, I went to check the order history and it showed me nothing.

Absolute scam!. I am from Australia and i tried to order a designer item that is kinda rare. Spoke with a man with a think accent who kept pressuring into buying. I downloaded the app that stated i could get 15% USD off. I applied it - it kept converting back to US dollars and NOT taking discount. The price and conversion was THEN INSANELY inflated. Man with think accent kept promising to refund 15% if i gave credit card details. THIS COMPANY does not use paypal - MASSIVE fraud! Do not purchase. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE.

Impossible. While more than 90% of Chinese people are holdres of China Union Pay, and foreigners almost can't get a credit card there, Shobop doesn't accept this kind of payment nor PayPal. Shame

I had ordered clothes for a wedding event, on the basis of it being delivered to me by 30 August 2021, as Shopbop had indicated at the time of check out. However, shipping was not done via DHL or FedEx as per usual, but by another shipping provider called ECMS, which as you'll see from other concurring reviews online, is horribly inefficient. Despite my constant chasers to Shopbop and ECMS, the item arrived many days late, long after my event.
I asked that Shopbop bear the cost of return shipping, given that it was Shopbop that had failed to deliver on its estimated promise of express delivery. Shopbop has refused to do so.
In short, poor service in terms of shipping and even more appalling service recovery. Very disappointing given that I have been a loyal Shopbop customer for more than a decade. Usually items are shipped very promptly by DHL or FedEx, but ECMS is utterly disastrous - hardly any tracking updates, items stuck in transit for the longest time.
I would now certainly not recommend Shopbop to anyone looking to obtain their items within a short time. Their delivery dates at check out are simply unreliable, and their promise of 2-4 days' shipping is evidently a sham.

The site shows you the prices in the currency of your choice but then when you go to pay it charges you USD without telling you the invoice is in USD so you get a shock when you see your credit card statement. When I called the customer service representative told me that it is not misleading that the site is in AUD but charges in USD but said it was my fault even though I have screenshots of the invoice showing that it does not say USD. An then when I asked to cancel the order she said it has already been filed and I can "easily" return it when I receive it at a cost of $50! She then proceeded to yell at me saying I should know that since it is a US company that it only charges in USD and that all companies have a currency selector for "convenience". Worst company ever.

I ordered a dress to the UK and before I ordered it I called shopbop to ask about getting the duty refunded if I chose to return the dress and they assured me it was an easy process. Let me tell you, it was NOT an easy process. Noone on the entire team had any idea how the process worked, I looked it up online and requested the information I needed to make the claim and they couldn't even provide that and had no idea what I was talking about. They kept telling me they would look into it and someone would call me the next day and noone ever did, I had to keep calling to follow up. I finally tracked down the information myself and I still haven't received the duty back 2 months later. Customer service offered me no refund, discount or future discount. They say they ship internationally but when you can't get your dutys back if you need to return what's the point? WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN.

DON'T order from Shopbop when you are an international customer! They recently change their "postal" shipping and now use Landmark Global with UPS (their customs charges are a rip off). I was a customer from Shopbop for years and always use postal shipping, I never ever paid import duties or taxes in my life (the shipping could take up to 1 month but I always received all my orders). I contacted their CS and to be short they are not willing to fix the problem: "Once Landmark has the package, it could be transferred to any carrier for the final delivery. Unfortunately, we do not have control over this since Landmark makes those decisions." OK, so change your carrier then... I would recommend to choose express with prepaid import & duties instead of postal (if you are willing to pay an expensive amount of customs charges) it's a better choice for an international delivery since the duties are considerably cheaper and the shipping way faster. WHY would you add a shipping option with UPS when there is already express Shopbop?! Postal was a great alternative to express for those who want to save on import duties, now postal with UPS is completely useless... Therefore, I only shop at REVOLVEclothing and FORWARD since they are the only ones who deliver internationally with the local post office.
