Order has been completed on 29/3/24, shopee stated money to release to seller wallet by 14/4/24, until 16/4 they still not release the money, and just give an excuse said unusual activity without any detail or proper explanation to seller.

I order 2 Yes sim card 1st on 3rd may 21 and 2nd on 5th may 21.
Yet the courier man lazy drop at unable lock mail box and remark SUCCESSFUL delivered. When I noticed the item wasn't in mail box any more... I keep asking for refund and put in my reason yet Shopee dispute agent keep on cancelled my requested without investigating. They just base on the report send by the seller which mentioned by the courier man have delivered.
We as a buyer spend so much time to completed the event organized by Shopee yet they unable to fullfil the promise to delivered the sim card and never take the steps of checking how the delivery company do the work...
The Shopee only let the buyer wait for months and keep cancelled buyer refund request. Totally irresponsible company!

From last year Aug2021 until today, Shopee still didnt reimburse me back courier fee? Email received last 25/02/22 from En. Salam will reimburse me back my courier fee latest by 03/3/22. Waiting, at the end nothing in my mbb. Sent few emails out, no reply. One email received from Shopee, will takie time to investigate. I really not understand one small amount courier fee can be delay from last year Aug 2021 until today. What email I received from Shopee again. Attachment here with the attachment for everyone to read. Very disappointed with Shopee.

A seller cancelled my purchase (order *******Y8VRMD) paid with online banking for $301.95 without giving any reason. I waited for a refund for days. I called and called. Finally after getting a Shopee to answer my call, I was asked to apply for the refund! This was many days after my order was cancelled by seller. I was asked to laboriously fill in details etc for the refund. Then nothing. I called again 3 days later, then 5 days later and was told the matter was with the `relevant team'. Finally when I threatened to make a police report, I got my refund.
And the product I paid $301.95 for and was cancelled, is till on the Shopee site! So shoppers, beware of this scamming trick!

BE CAREFUL USING SHOPEE.

Had the most horrendous experience with Shopee express courier today.Delivery man attempted to throw parcels and boxes over the gate.When I saw him upon returning home,I stopped him immediately.He then proceeded with yell at me saying I should stay home to wait for the parcels.It is not his duty to call my handphone to inform me of the delivery.If not at home then he can handle the parcels however he pleases as he is not scared of anyone as he has worked at Shopee for the past 7years.He then got angry and decided to stop his car outside my gate and refuse to let me drive into my house taking all the parcels in his car and walking to all the other houses to hand deliver them.I had to lodge a police report and ask security in my area to prohibit him from entering my Taman.I thought ppl hire thugs to collect money.Since when did ppl hire thugs to deliver parcels after collecting money

Bought a caliper from this seller and received a damaged caliper as shown in the pictures. The caliper arm is misalign and cannot provide accurate measurement. If anyone notice this defects, they know this caliper cannot be used anymore. Sent refund request and got reject by seller. Surprisingly, shopee also reject my refund dispute with an excuse that this item cannot be refunded due to quality issue. Shopee eved demanded me to prepare a video to prove this caliper cannot be used. Cmon... even a school children knows this caliper cannot be used just by looking at it. This shopee team asking ridiculous questions as if they did not use caliper when in school! Guys, be careful when buying in shopee, there is no buyer protection at all. Once you click the buy button, your money is lost forever!

I recently opened a new shopee acc due to not remembering what email and password I used. So with that opening a new acc seems OK. But nooo. To get my number registered is so much procedures as my number was previously used for my old acc, then I contacted help centre they said that my old acc has been deleted. So yeah ok shouldn't my number be available to register again? Old acc is no more. DELETED! And now I'm trying to purchase things urgently, I can't do anything just because I don't have prove that my number is mine. I don't have no bills coz my number is prepaid. Insisting I show prove, what kinda prove? I haven't gone out since MCO last year cause I have kids. So do you expect me to run around to get freaking prove just for Shopee?! I don't have any prob like this with lazada. Just so happens a few things that I wanted is from Shopee. So seriously?! This is nonsense since whatever verification they need still need to go through my number!

Shopee is the worst when trying to return an item that the seller wrongly advertised. The seller stated it was 100% cotton and it clearly showed the label stating 90% polyester and 10% spandex. Wrote to seller who asked me to write to shopee. I did and gave all evidence along with it being the wrong size. After shopee agreed that I had made my case and could return it, I waited for shopee to update the status so I could return it but they never did and it continued stating it was under review. As such I could not get the label to return it. After four phone calls and many emails, they still every time insisted it would be dealt with. I even spoke to their supervisor who promised but didn't deliver. And today I received another email stating that I had did that I had Changed My Mind about the product and to contact the seller. Shopee is incompetent and does not value its customers from the way I've been treated. I have always had great experience returning items with Lazada and they take responsibility when their sellers lie about their products. I'm afraid to ever order anything rude from Shopee and I've spent a lot of money on this site. They will lose me as a customer if they don't settle this. Lazada even calls me when there's an issue with their product and offers compensation. Shopee just gets me to do more and more things and still it is not settled. A nightmare. Such lack of care for their customer.

The Customer Service Operator Refuses to Help Unless I Submit to My 'Wrong Doings!' by filling in online form. Then, i open My Case at Help Centre. Same Attitude, Give them 24 hours to investigate & will letme know. After a few days, I check again with Customer Service. Case Closed Without Informing Me Anything At All

It's all good if you are lucky with your purchases, otherwise you are on your own with the damaged items/ wrong items. Shopee will leave you to deal with the seller. All sellers are defensive and reject your return & refund or offer a few dollars to encourage to keep all the items.

In the event of return & refund, Shopee allows 3 days including weekend to return the item, otherwise the case is cancelled. As such, if you don't return on Sunday, you are on you own.

Product rating is managed by seller, sellers are allowed to off your bad product review! When I report it to Shopee customer service (Suganty), she told me to question the seller directly. Seriously?! In this case, new buyer will never get to see genuine feedbacks from buyers.

Shopee customer service (Suganty) is not helpful and sounds frustrated.

After all, Shopee is only benefit sellers in order to make ton of money to fund their marketing campaigns such as paying Jackie Chan!

Shopee is not a trustworthy shopping platform. It's unprofessional and a scammer.

Shopee has been losing money year after year since 2015 and is running out of investors and operating capital.
Shopee's parent company Sea Ltd has lost more than 83% of its share value since October 2021 (Stock price of $370 in Oct. 2021 and $60 in Oct. 2022).
Shopee has laid off many employees recently.
Now they are resorting to charging some sellers extra commission fee without notifying them and randomly banning sellers and buyers account and holding the money in their accounts.
Read on:
Our selling account at Shopee platform was suspended abruptly for the reason of selling from cross border region.
We have called and emailed Shopee to reconsider their decision because we have never operated from cross border region.
They insisted on keeping our account suspended and holding our funds (the payments for products which we sold).
They have left us no choice but to seek legal action.

My second incident of refund issue via Shopee platform. Received defect item, images, video proof provided but not helpful to the case. Gotten bad service and being threatened by seller of bad rating is not remove the refund will not proceed even after to return the defect item. The whole event, seller never mentioned an apology for the bed item they sent. Their customer service manner is really really bad. The most humiliating is the Shopee propose a To return RM200 and no need return solutions. The product bought at RM291 with defect, I'm not sure is this the best solution they have been discussed and only inform to customer. Shopee platform has no such policy of protection that protect to the buyer. So pretty much agreement within the seller and the platform to make the decision. I won't continue using Shopee platform after this bad experience. Refund system takes a lot process and very time consuming. Sorry to say, Comparable to Lazada which they did a very efficient job on their refund system. Buyer feel much more safe and feeling protected. Atleast I feel ease and secure when shopping. My two cents

I recently bought a set of Graphic Novels from Shopee. And what I got in the end was a link to down load a digital copy. When I disputed it with Shopee and ask them to stop payment to the Vendor, they rejected it and said the vendor delivered as promised and so they will be releasing the payment to the vendor.

I then reviewed the order again to see whether it was mentioned that it was a digital copy, yes it was there, one small line in the remarks column. NOTHING in the title mention Digital Comic (like all the rest of the digital comic). NOTHING in the pictures mention digital comic.

And when I search for the item again, to leave a review to warn other people about this, it no longer is listed. It so obvious the seller intention is to full people, shut down and open another store to full people other people again.

The whole idea of Shoppee holding the payment is to protect both the buyer and the seller from being con from buying things online. This would never have happen if I went and buy it from a normal bookstore.

Well I will never buy from Shoppee or even any online store, just because some unscrupulous idiot and some money grabbing platform who is not interested in making a good online business.

Tip for consumers:
Stay away from Shopee. They don't protect you even if they are set up to do so.

They have a very dishonest practice by delaying the refund for the non-delivery of products within the timeframe. They will give a lot of excuses to reject your refund.

I placed order to buy something that cost me few hundred ringgit. First thing is that the seller is totally not responsive after I followed up with the shipping status, second is that after 2 weeks or so, i requested to cancel the order, only then the seller responded to my chat saying that they would not cancel my order because already in process. The extended Shopee guarantee also expired and the seller still did not ship out my order by the date that Shopee system would 'automatically' cancel my order. Of course, there's no automatic cancel at all. I contacted Shopee team and the lady told me I have to wait for another 10 days, and she said by then if the item still not being shipped out, then the system will 'automatically cancel' my order. What a joke. The system never automatically cancel your order, and if the seller refuses to accept your cancellation request, time to say goodbye to your money. To be honest, it's better to go with Lazada when it comes to issue like this, they have better policy to protect buyers. Shopee? *thumbs-down*

That on 22/8/21, I privately message this seller saying the taco box wasn't wrapped properly and the taco box wasn't fix properly since she used a EXTRA large box for a small little taco box. Hence, the taco arrived broken.

She ignored my feedback and denied her responsibilities. Anyway, I accepted the order bcox I don't want to trouble anyone with only less than RM40 taco shells.

However, I see there is a NEED for me to write my feedbacks in the review column so the next buyer can beware of this and to rethink again prior purchasing it.

Upon submitting my reviews, she was so angry and NON-stop messaging me at Shopee chat box and WhatsApp. She was uncontrollable and emotionally instable plus she stalked me and write an UNTRUE comments at my company google reviews column only bcox of a ONE STAR REVIEWs.

Please beware of this seller. (Ellie Bebbielon).

BTW, she has removed my contents today (23/08/2021).

Shopee has the worst customer service team! My advice for dealing with these incompetent humans: Bring in KPDNHEP and NCCC as early as possible via e-complaint.

I got a wrong size item from the seller. Therefore, I opened a dispute and requested full refund & return of item to the seller. However, this agent "Wani" only gave me a partial refund and asked me to keep the item since it was still in good condition. Hello Auntie?! Why the hell do I want to keep a wrong size item even if it's in super condition?! Please don't be ridiculous and use your brain in your job!

Also, this agent "Wani" was shameless enough to notify me about the above solution only after the deadline! Meaning, I was forced to accept the offered solution without given a chance to disagree! The audacity and the shamelessness!

After E-Mailing back and forth, this agent "Wani" agreed to fully refund my order after returning the item to the seller. However, the nightmare did not end there. Even after providing all the required information, these agents "Wani, Syahidah, Farid Sazali" kept delaying the refund for weeks! Hey Monkeys: If you cannot keep your promise, don't make one at the first place. Or else you are a liar cheating people's trust and money. You'll get hell for that.

To all Shopee Staff: You lack sincerity, honesty, basic human courtesy and common sense in your job. Continue with this attitude, you won't go far anywhere.

I hate that there's 1-5 stars but no zero, shopee doesn't even deserve a star.
I called multiple shopee agents for my refunds, 1st was my problem as it was my first time having order problems, so i called the 2nd agent, they just dropped my call; called the 3rd one, halfway talking--dropped the call; today, the 4th one, (when you call shopee helpline they will tell you to activate your shopee pay account IF you pay by retail store) ok, activated my shopee pay account, then the agent said that he can't give me my refund through shopee pay account, but must put my bank account like? I tried to ask him why but he just dropped my call. It's so hard to believe last time, but now if you said shopee was a scam i'd 100% agree with you.
Like, after paying RM200+ for my orders, shopee website crashed? And they didnt at least explain why it happened so i had to pay at the retail store. Worst, after the 1st agent went through my shopee account, he deleted my refund notification, it's like he didn't want me to get my refund. Idk whats happening but shoppe gotta hire some more reliable and trusted agents

The order cancel/ refund process is tedious and Shopee is non too concerned about this. Shopee must reprimand errant sellers.
