Shopee is cheaper maybe because they only charge 1.5 percent to seller unlike lazada who has lots of hidden charges that can go up as high as 5 percent. I've purchased damaged lcd when I request to refund the seller didn't agree and I didn't have to refund that's why I rated them bad reviews then they reach out but when I can't delete my review they didn't refund any amount.

We actually thought maybe Shopee couriers would be getting better since it seemed like we were getting a little bit better service and communication with the some couriers. However, sadly this last week proved there is no relevant positive change in Shopee's horrible courier service. They continually do NOT communicate with the recipient of the parcels and then say the recipient was the negligent one. This last courier did not bother to communicate with us at any time and then sends a message saying they couldn't deliver the parcel because the recipient was unavailable. No calls nor texts nor communication at all. Then sends the parcel back to the seller with the big lie that their deliver attempts failed. HInt hint Shopee- no communication is an absolute failure in business always!
I've ordered thru that Shopee selling platform few times and most of the sellers are dishonest, trying to scam you, wanted you to paid outside of the platform. Even try to charge you extra after you paid by sending you packages COD. The worse is the one below, I order 2000 Pesos 40$ USD, of Rubbermaid plastic containers, from a seller name USA Goods and I received a candy in a small orange envelope.
To had insult to the injury's, Shopee won't help and get my money back. If something goes bad you are on your own and lose your money. That is Shopee for you..

Do not buy any electronic products in this company name call {dynamic plus} in shopee, I just bought a Panasonic microwave oven from them and then give me the damaged items i message the seller for refund but seller is also not irresponsible and said is the ninja van damage my microwave.

Customer service chat hangs up repeatedly in the middle of a conversation. Customer phone support rings once and then hangs up and pretends I did not answer the phone. Merchants (especially Mainland China merchants) do not stand by their products. If you are in the Philippines, shop on Lazada. Prices are maybe a bit higher, but everything else is better, and you will have lower blood pressure.

I ordered a simple 199 php hot pot. The item was not packaged properly and arrived damaged. I contacted Seller, sent pics of the damage and asked for a simple replacement. He told me he would send one on a future order. What a joke! Shopee said to send it back but to return it I had to drive to the city plus spend 300+ php in shipping, more than the item cost. I purchased the item COD so I basically wrote it off as a loss. I'll be sure to avoid Shopee in the future and recommend that others do the same. If you have to buy from them use a credit card. At least then one can dispute the transaction. I find Shopee to be just another Filipino bucket shop with no real customer service.

If you want to buy counterfeit health and beauty goods, this is the website to go to. Even AliExpress doesn't sell counterfeit (i. E copied packaging of legitimate items) health/beauty items. Customer service is garbage. Turns out you need to BUY an item in order to report the fake item, even then, they WILL side the seller in the end. "100% Authentic Guarantee" my foot.
I saw commercial of Shopee and try to buy some stuff that I really need and fast. But... it's not works like that! Don't buy there, stay out the problems of this one "kind of shop". Nothing works right, spend a lot of time with support. And nothing happens.
There is an option pay by cash in CDM I used it. And then they said you send us to much money so we cancel your order! How could it be? I sad leave it in account I will buy something next time. They said no! It takes weeks to get this info. After all, support almost don't speak English and can hang out a phone what ever it wants. If you want text them by email you get answer in weeks and it's automatic message. When I ask to give my money back they find 1000 ways to do not do that. They are hoarding customers to choose standard delivery because it seems cheaper without customers' knowledge that the service is worst. They don't have a proper warehouse set up yet. Unlike other delivery services like J&T Express, they have warehouse almost in every town. Can you Imagine where your parcels being stock for more than 4 weeks now? They couldn't attain to follow their own turn around delivery time. They should have set up proper warehouse and deliver personnel assigned in designated areas. The delivery men told me that most of them only deliver parcels near the warehouse. My location is within 6 km from their warehouse and they fail to deliver such parcels. They are not organize and incompetent with their services.

Overall I am happy with Shopee purchases, in some cases the merchant purposely shipped a different product that is a bit cheaper, reason could be he does not have the same model, so when I ask why, merchant just said apply for refund, which is wasting time. Another issue is when ordering the flower seeds, 50% of the seeds given is not what you see in the picture, after germination, this happen to many merchants I bought flower seeds from, even though I chat with them to confirm before order. Products from shopee are of average but useful, serve they purpose. I also don't understand why they accept sellers that sell knock off beauty products. You know those K products in sampler size with the cheapest price, too good to be true! But this is not what mostly disappointment me. It was the after sales. After I placed my order and waited for days, it never arrived even after its ETA. It turned out to be cancelled by the "Shopee Courier" also owned by Shopee. It was auto-cancelled by the courier without informing us and letting me wait in vain. The sad and frustrated part was when the customer service rep told me that it was COD and nothing was got from me. Is that what you called customer service? The agent was also sarcastic. The seller had also no idea that my order was cancelled by the shopee courier.
I love this online shopping app it help me so much. I have multiple sclerosis I can't walk but because of shopee I can purchase the things I need and things I want without going out or going to the mall. Plus there's so many discounts and promos.
Before I order especially online I make sure to read all the reviews first, because it helps a lot. Second, read it carefully about the refundable or not refundable so even if you order and received it by mistake then you can still call to return with no cost and no hassle. Third, you can try 1 item per order to make sure your order can send it to you with exact date. Fourth, don't order expensive Item's like gadgets. Fifth, upload recording app on your phone so that in case you will record all your conversations while you having trouble for refunding the items you can still have evidences. Sixth, not all 5 star came from buyers because most of the 5 stars goes to worker's of that site that you really like for business you know what I mean. False advertising on their promotion. Shopee express is not competitive as well and shopee representatives can't do anything on my concerns. I have attached the promotion I am referring to. Purchasing here since the pandemic. And now, they will not give me the 15% discount for my birthday voucher.
