THE GOOD:
+ The website and the mobile app are well designed and well organized.
+ The selection of clothes are cute
+ Relatively quick shipping times
THE BAD & THE UGLY
- The quality of the clothes are terrible for the price you pay. The clothes they sell are the same clothes you would buy from Shein or Ross but at an astronomical mark up. For example, the lowest cost item in my order was ~ $70. When I received the order, it was like Shein 2.0. So, I decided to look around and saw the same dress Showpo was selling for $70 was also being sold at Shein and AliExpress for less than $20.
- Terrible customer service - You can only get in contact with them via email or their live chat, which would not be an issue if the quality of their merchandise reflected their prices OR if CS was decent. I initially wanted to return 1/2 items. You use the return portal, select the reason for the return, and have to pay $15. Easy enough, right? NO!

- When I decided I wanted to return item 2/2, I was told the return for the first item was no longer valid. This was all in the same day, btw. Suddenly, they told me I had to send multiple images and videos to prove the first item was faulty even though I was contacting them about item 2/2 - at this time they didn't even refund the $15. For the second item, I also had to send multiple images. They also said my items were no longer eligible for return per their policy.

- Lack of clarity - They have a 7-day return period for original form of payment refund. You have to be extremely clear when telling them you do not want store credit.
- You cannot leave reviews for the clothes you buy on their website. I should have noticed this sooner, but I did not.
- Keep an eye out for your refund because it may never come. It took them more than a month to provide the refund. You'll probably have to get in contact with your bank.
- You have to fight tooth and nail to get the outcome you deserve as they will try to scam and inconvenience you. This is a fraudulent company selling cheap clothes at huge mark-ups. Save the headache and shop elsewhere. Take a look at other reviews and they all say the same.

I ordered around $500 worth of merchandise in the same size and all of the items were different sizes - some were so small I couldnt fit my head through and some were so large -the sizing is inconsistent.

The quality of the merchandise is bad as well. Cheap quality, except they charge like $50 per item.

Also, I tried to contact the customer service agents to see if I could get a refund instead of store credit because I will NOT be buying $500 worth of merchandise in the future since its bad quality and inconsistent sizing (how can I know i won't get another super tiny or super large piece of clothing?), and the customer service rep took 5 days to respond only with a copied and pasted reply stating that I could return for store credit.

Overall, don't trust this brand on Instagram. They hire models to showcase the items, but in real life the material is cheap, the sizing is inconsistent, and if they truly believed in their brand and clothes, they would give you a refund, not store credit. Offering store credit means that they know chances are you will probably return it. DON'T shop from them. Save your money.

Also, you can't even file for return protection with your credit cards because the company is not located in the U.S. and have no store presence here.

To start I wouldn't even rate them 1 star. I purchased a pair of jeans which didn't come cheap at $69.95. Upon arriving I found that they were made of cheap material (elastic-kind) and didn't look anything like the ones I had ordered (the photo they sold me on). Overall I'm really disappointed! Showpo isn't cheap for online shopping and definitely wouldn't recommend! Such a waste of money for the quality of product! Don't waste your time shopping with Showpo, you're best off going in store and paying less for higher quality!
Note: Showpo have done little to resolve this! No response

BE AWARE that if you wish to return an(y) item(s) you DO NOT get your money back into your CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD. I made the stupid mistake to assume that I would only get merchandise/store credit if I went over a specific amount of days (ex. 14 or 60 days) because that's how other stores/ websites work. And NOW I've been desperately trying to get my money back because I need that money to help pay for my books for college. And they just keep dancing around the damn issue. If I can't get my money back I'm just going to have use up the store credit (MY MONEY) but after that I'm NEVER buying from here again.

Would not recommend buying here. They have pocketed over $100 of my money and refuse to help me when they gave me the wrong advice on sizing. Not to mention after returning dresses a few times and paying for shipping each time and adding this cost to the already spent money on dresses, I am now being told no one can help me and they have basically taken my money and now I have naked bridesmaids for my wedding in a couple weeks. If you want to buy from here buy about 3 sizes up and never ask the ‘experts' on their website because they give you the wrong advice and they take your money. I also am left with $2500 less because I had to self quarantine so that we could try on the dress in the first place and we can't even wear it.
Unimpressed is an understatement. Working in this industry I know that they can help me but they are too lazy to do anything. Speaking with Eric and Andrea made no help at all, they basically told me they won't assist me even though they made the stuff up. Wouldn't recommend, especially if buying dresses for a special occasion because you have no chance of any exchanges or anything.

Purchased a dress for an event, checked all of the details of the dress and ordered my normal size. Dress arrived and didn't fit (not unusual for online shopping). I purchased the return label but the label wasn't emailed to me. I follow up with them and took two tries to get someone to respond to my request. Then I saw they have the policy of no refunds, which I know is against Australian consumer laws if the item is not fit for purpose (severe breach) which not fitting a standard size is. And also just kind of bad manners for an online only store. Multiple emails later and they do "grant me a one time only refund". I return my items and 10 days after they acknowledge receiving the items, I have to email them as no refund received. They say wait a while. Another 10 days later they process a store credit. I emailed them again, they are going to fix it, but one month after they have received the items I am still waiting for this to be processed. Borderline illegal that they have probably resold the items already and are now just withholding my money. So disappointed as previously had positive experiences. The only positive is fast shipping, but I'd say Showpo is quickly losing their competitiveness. Shop elsewhere to have peace of mind that you'll be able to return an item for a quick refund, which makes the most sense when your purchasing something you haven't been able to try on.

I purchased online. I ordered 3 items. A jacket, a maxi dress and a romper. I am always a small or xs, still I referred to the size guide because this was my first experience ordering from showpo. The jacket was huge with tiny arms, I could barely move my arms. The romper was a sequin low cut one, super gorgeous online, in person it opened wide exposing my entire chest/stomach. There is no way I can wear it ever unless I got it completely remade. The maxi dress says it's a small and I could fit about 2.5 of myself inthe dress. Originally I had everything in xs and actually changed to a small because of the size guide and the measurements listed.

It said it would be free shipping but I had to pay over $50 on a $275 order to even pick it up, then to find not a single item fit. I contacted them and of course they will not offer refunds or return shipping labels. So i would have to pay over $50 to even send the items back and then another $50 to pick up my new items from the store credit.

I am so sorry to hear that you were not happy with the items that you have purchased, we definitely don't want our lovely customers to feel this way. Our size guide is merely a guide for our customers, It is not actually specific to every product.

We do try our best to avoid out customer having any customs charges on their order, we do offer a duties calculator through our site that does specify if it is likely for your parcel to attract such fees. My colleague April has emailed you offering either a store credit or a refund for the cost of the duties on your parcel and we did not receive a response regarding this. We do state on our site that for any change of mind or incorrect sizing it is just a store credit and the customer does have to cover the cost for this to come back to us, it is definitely a cost we would love to cover in the future but it is just not something we can offer at the moment.

We do value this feedback and it is definitely something I will pass onto our management. I thank you for taking the time out to write this review.

If not Australian DO NOT ORDER from here I have to pay import tax that costs the same as the dress I ordered 74 and I asked if an item would be restocked so I sized up, I now see that is has been restocked and it's only been about 5 days.

Ordered and paid for 2 dresses. They were delivered to the wrong address, I talked via text to someone and they said they couldn't help because "I gave them the wrong address?" I had to contact USPS and make sure they had my correct address, which they did. And USPS said they would re deliver, then today I got an email saying they were unable to deliver... So I contacted customer service and they said there was a problem of some sort delivering, DUH! And they even said one of the dresses was no longer available?! After I paid for both! So I asked for a full refund and I hope I get it because I don't trust these people! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

So disappointed. Would not accept my return even though I was within the 7 day window - had email proof of delivery date and they claim their tracking said weeks prior - which is nearly impossible.

Don't waste your money. I ordered the Almaeh dress and showpo sent me the wrong size dress with a broken zipper. I needed the dress by November 17 and was told that if I returned it for store credit I could get it by then. So I sent the dress back for $15 and got store credit, then re-ordered the dress with the store credit and another $5. When that dress arrived it also had a broken zipper. I have already tried to get a full refund, with associates Den, Andrea, and Mark. Andrea told me that she could refund me the full amount back to my card, and then gave me store credit instead. I spent $59.52 on the first order which came in the wrong size and broken, then $15 to send it back, then $5 along with store credit to receive the second order, which also came broken. Showpo sent me two broken dresses and refuses to refund me, I've spent at least $80 throughout the whole ordeal and have only been refunded $5. They keep giving me store credit to fix the fact that they sent me two broken dresses. I just want my money back.

I have had an awful experience with Showpo. I was so excited to order a dress from them for my wedding that I accidentally ordered the dress twice (truly my mistake). I noticed right away so I immediately reached out to customer service to cancel the order. The lady I spoke with confirmed that she had cancelled the order and I could re-place the order the next day once I received confirmation.

The next day somebody else reached out to me saying they couldn't cancel my order anymore because it was already ship. I was truly confused because I know the dress hadn't shipped yet when I contacted them 5 minutes after placing the order and I was told then that the order would be cancelled. Regardless, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and took their direction to request a refund for the duplicate order once I received the shipment.

I requested the refund as soon as I got the package. I kept one dress and returned the other in the same manner it was received. It has now been over 2 weeks since sending back. I just spoke with someone else at customer service and they said my return was "put on hold". I have no idea what that means, nor was that ever communicated to me. I asked for more information on what that meant and have yet to receive a reply.

It is truly disgusting how they treat their customers, especially when some of us are shopping for such special occasions and these should be exciting times but they have only made it a nightmare for me. I regret ever shopping with this company and will steer everyone away from them in the future.

I ordered from showpo once and was satisfied with the clothing. I tried again and all the clothes were terrible quality and way too large on me. I am 5'3, have a B cup and weigh about 95lb, a size 00 (double zero) should fit me.

For returns they make you purchase a label for $9. No, they don't subtract this from your refund but you have to pay out of pocked on top of what you paid previously.

On top of that they only give you store credit.

I held on to my store credit for a while and ordered again a few months later, and I swear it seems like the quality gets worse with each purchase. The quality was extremely bad, fabric itchy, cheap and simply terrible.

Now, I had to pay ANOTHER $9 to return these clothes and am again left with store credit. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I am so upset. I don't want store credit. For all I know the clothes are going to be too large and super cheap looking again when I order, and then I have to pay $9 again to return the stuff.

Truly never ordering from this company again, I would if their return policies weren't so inconvenient and unfair. But truly never. Again.

Worst buying experience I've had in a while. I've purchased stuff on Wish for like $5 that had better quality than these clothes.

Just DON'T do it.

As a petite girl I struggle finding clothing that fits me! Showpo is one of the only brands I can confidently buy without having to alter my clothing. I love that they include everybody - all sizes. Furthermore, they have great costumer service and help you with your problems quickly and professionally!

At first, when I put in the order, the express shipping said it would come Thursday, and I needed it for homecoming which was the following SATURDAY. Then Thursday came and it didn't show up. I was getting nervous because I needed it asap, and so I checked the website again and it said since I was in the US it would now take much longer which it didn't tell me before ordering. I bought a bunch of makeup, jewelery, and a pair of shoes just to find out that I wouldn't get the dress in time. Now I wasted 300 dollars on accessories for the dress, I paid extra for express shipping, I can't even return the dress for money back just store credit, and I have nothing to wear for homecoming so thanks Showpo I hope you are happy. But apart from this, the dresses are cute, afordable, and the website is very efficient.

I wouldn't recommend shopping from these people. I have found clothes that they have listed on their site for $50 listed on eBay for $10. I believe some of their products are imported and they've just had their model pose in them and jacked up the price. I have an example of a product I was going to buy. Sent me the wrong pant size and then told me that my size didn't exist in that brand, (which Is available to purchase on their site) I told them how I own multiple pairs of pants in that size from the same brand And they actually told me that I need to send pictures of the measurements of my pants in my closet? If you want SEE THROUGH OVERPRICED CLOTHES this is the place for you! I purchased two dresses and a back chain from Showpo. Due to the materials listed and the price, I evaluated and figured it would be of similar quality of other items I have made of the same materials purchased elsewhere; wrong! When the dresses came, one of them was completely see through, and the other, though not as see through, did not even look like the picture! BOTH items were not as described, and let's not even talk about the chain! I didn't even take it out of the package because I could clearly see it was tangled up. I immediately put everything back in its original packaging and contacted the company. I went back and forth back and forth with nonsense. They claimed they could only give me a refund if the items were faulty otherwise they only do store credit. Apparently being UNWEARABLE because its TRANSPARENT does not count as "faulty"and neither does an unwearable chain. Weird right? I am still awaiting they do the RIGHT thing and give me back my money. I cannot believe they think it's OK to charge people 3x more for something they could easily get for 1/3 of the price.

Way to be scammers! They get an A+ for that :)

We do only issue refunds for faulty garments, yet ofcourse depending on the quality of the garment, we can offer one-time exception refunds. All our items have descriptions where you can see the type of fabric, and there are also images shown which provide an insight into the product you will receive. Please note colours may also vary depending on different monitor screens.

I genuinely was so excited to receive my order. I ordered multiple dresses to take with me on a destination wedding. I ordered the pieces 3 weeks before the wedding hoping they would make it to me within the 7-10 business days, I had no idea it was even coming from Australia and had I knew I would have upgraded my shipping to arrive faster but after reading reviews, that wouldn't have even mattered. My tracking hasn't moved from Australia and I only got another shipping link to DHL by chatting them and them telling me in 48 hours it will update and be transferred to USPS. It never transferred and I've been on the phone with DHL and chatting them who told me the package has come through customs and was released but is unable to be located. They also told me if it was found, it would take another 8 days to even arrive to me……Told this to Showpo and my responses from them have been full of attitude and bad customer service. They have been so unhelpful and told me i had to wait 1 business day to put in a request to them to track down the order (this chat was at 9pm at night here and I stated that the next business day was in a few hours and all i got was attitude from the customer service agent.) once i waited, they still have yet to give me an update, and said that update would come in a few days, 2 days before I'm supposed to leave for this wedding because of when i put in the request…. I put in the request when I was told to put in the request. I've never been one to complain but the fact that I let them know my order was stuck in processing and lost, they couldn't help me because they were in Australia. If this is their excuse then maybe don't advertise that you ship to the US and that you won't be helpful when the package is lost…. Seems like this is pretty normal for them per reading reviews. I'm genuinely so disappointed in this brand and will now be out of multiple dresses for this wedding that i spent a few $100 dollars on.

I normally don't write reviews. But this is frustrating.

I ordered three dresses from this store all the same sizes, on 05/17. Ordered #: *******. Total of $169.40, I was qualified for free shipping (ESTIMATED DELIVERY: Estimated delivery between 7-9 Business Days). Received my package 06/1. Two of the dresses were too small.

I reached out to them for an exchange. Was told that, because they're an online store, they don't offer exchange. I was told to return and repurchase. Sure, no problem.

I started the return process o6/2. Well, it wasn't a normal return process. They charged me $14.95 for the label. I paid it, and I was told that my label would be emailed to me in 30 minutes. Put the dresses in the box and drove to the post office. I was hoping that by the time I arrived there, my label would be emailed to me. That didn't happen.

I emailed again to ask about the label. 48hrs a later a reply reached out. "Can you email us a screenshot confirming that you paid for the label?" I did, I also included a bank statement. After that, there was no reply.

I reached out again, and this time, a different rep replied to my email and asked me the same question. Requesting a screenshot. I send it again.

24 hours later, no reply. I reached out again, repetitive #3- emailed me back with the same dumb request. This has been going on for six days. I'm frustrated with the run around. I tried calling the number on your website. That's a fake number that doesn't work.

Can somebody send me my label. I don't want to exchange anybody. I just want to return these dresses and be done with it. Or I'm reaching out to my bank and dispute this transaction.

Either your return policy is a mess or y'all trying to steal.

However, customers can return their items within 21 days from the delivery date for a refund in the form of store credit which can be used towards future purchases. Alternatively, customers can create a return for a refund back to their original method of payment within 7 days from delivery.

Regarding the $14.95 return fee, this fee is a condition of your return and a fee we clarify transparently across the site.

Additionally, we truly do try and make our return labels as cost-effective as possible for our customers. The cost of your return label not only covers the return to our US hub but, all the way back to our Distribution Centre in Sydney, Australia.

Please know we would never want to inflict the cost of direct shipping to Australia on our customers due to the expense and we have found our current returns policy is as cost-effective as possible.

We have looked into your most recent experience with us, however, and there were a number of instances where your concern wasn't handled to the best of our abilities, and for that we are so sincerely sorry. Please know we take matters such as these very seriously and will be putting actions into place to prevent this from happening going forward!

I recently had an unfortunate encounter with Showpo's customer service and their supposedly "flexible" 7-day return policy for clothing, and I feel compelled to share my disheartening experience. As if dealing with the unexpected death of a family member wasn't already emotionally challenging, the lack of compassion and understanding exhibited by this company only added to my distress.

First and foremost, I was appalled by the insensitivity displayed by the customer service representatives. When I contacted them to explain my situation and request an extension on the return policy due to the sudden loss in my family, I was met with nothing but indifference. The representative I spoke to seemed more interested in reciting company policies verbatim than in addressing my genuine concerns. It's disheartening to think that a company would prioritize their rigid policies over showing basic empathy to a grieving customer.

Furthermore, the 7-day return policy for clothing is an absolute nightmare, especially during times of personal crisis. While I understand that businesses need to have certain policies in place, it's crucial to consider the human aspect of each situation. In my case, the seven-day window for returns was completely unreasonable, given the circumstances. The last thing anyone dealing with a loss wants to think about is rushing to meet a return deadline for clothing items, which can be a distressing reminder of the situation.

I believe that a truly customer-centric company would understand the need for flexibility during unforeseen circumstances. Other retailers have shown empathy by offering extended return periods in similar situations, and it's disappointing to see Showpo fall so short in this aspect. At a time when compassion should be at the forefront, their unwillingness to accommodate a grieving customer reveals a lack of understanding and a disconnect from the real emotions their patrons might be facing.

In conclusion, my experience with Showpo has been nothing short of disappointing. Their poor customer service and unforgiving 7-day return policy for clothing not only added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time, but also showed a lack of compassion and empathy that is deeply disheartening. I strongly urge the company to reconsider their policies and train their customer service representatives to treat customers with the care and respect they deserve, especially when they are going through personal hardships. I also strongly recommend that you don't shop here, ever.
