“Beautiful Books and Cards”

I've created 27 projects over the past 15 years on Shutterfly. This includes 15 different photo books. Each and every time, I've always received excellent, professional customer service and beautiful books. I custom design all my books. There may have been a couple of times over the years that I needed Shutterfly to help with a mistake. However, they stand behind there products 100%. If you aren't an experienced design person then ask for help. Use high quality photos! Remember Shutterfly didn't take the pictures. The photo quality of books and cards depend on what you upload. Low quality photos will create poor quality projects; so don't blame Shutterfly for your photos. They will make what you approve. Start your project early enough to allow for help and receive book in ample time in case the book or cards need to be possibly replaced if it's the direct fault of Shutterfly.

I ordered three photo books. The order was processed, they gave me a delivery date and then only one book came in the mail. No explanation- I figured it was an error and called customer service. I was told that it would come in two shipments---Why? This makes no sense and was a huge inconvenience. Now I see all the complaints I understand this is not a one off. I will not use them again. Way too expensive for such poor service!

I was an extremely satisfied customer of Collage.com so when they went out of business I had to find an alternative. In the summer of 2023 I uploaded 8 photos to Shutterfly. Coming back to the project in December I uploaded dozens more pictures, which took me several hours. The process seemed straightforward. However when I went back in, the only pictures showing were the original eight.
The first agent I talked to couldn't find the rest; the person I was transferred to couldn't find them. I double checked that I had done everything right, so the glitch wasn't at my end. I am beyond annoyed and frustrated and am looking for another photo book site.

Shutterfly stated my order was shipped on Dec 1 en route to Canada. They said it would be here Dec 14 2017. This was a Christmas gift. Not yet received. I called Dec 15th and the order was replaced but would not make it by Christmas. The second order was due to arrive yesterday. Both orders are still not here. Today is Jan 4th 2018.
Shutterfly states that they have no way of tracking deliveries to Canada
Product was paid for including other costs, shipping etc. I am out $250 CND! I routinely order from many American companies (Sephora, Victoria Secret etc.) and not once have I experienced anything like this!
I wish i would have learned more about them before placing an order. I naively assumed because they are so generous on the Ellen DeGeneres show that they were a company of credibility. I think the reason they are able to donate may be because of so many orders not being fulfilled on their part, easy money for them. What a pathetic strategy!

Will never order anything from you again now that your spokeswomen is one of the Kardashians. You use someone who's worth hundreds of millions of dollars. The average Americans struggling to makes ends meet finds it hard to related. Its all about the almighty dollar. Really how much has she bought and payed for something from your company.

I am in disbelief. I have been printing all my photos for many decades, Costco being the company I used for the longest until they gave their business to Shutterfly. I went ahead and ordered my first batch didn't think much of it because how bad could it be? But I am so pist off right now. The paper feels half the thickness and the photo itself is blurry with lines. I just can't believe it and totally bummed. Please go out of business and do not do this to people. Pictures are precious memories of you are to do a totally pathetic job just quit.

For the price of $39 I paid I expected much better picture quality. Ended up with a grainy canvas print on my father's day order. I have had much better experience with walmart canvas prints n they are much cheaper. I would never put Shutterfly prints on the wall.

My mom passed away in late October. I ordered a personalized calendar for my dad well in advance to be here before Christmas. It has been sitting waiting for pick up since 12/14. They have zero protocol in place to replace and resend if no movement. I did a chat online with their customer service team and was reassured it was fine and would be here by today. I called again today and they now said we will reship but won't be here until 12/30. I am beyond disappointed in their service. I now do not have a personalized gift/memory of my mother to give to my dad (no thanks to Shutterfly). I paid $36 for what?

I ordered products from Shutterfly several times. But there are couple things that I hate! First of all, they dont give anything FREE as they say, they actually charge a crazy amount for shipping so we end up paying the product. Then after they charge a lot of shipping they take FOREVER to send the product. Ridiculous! The quality is not bad but the advertising is completely FAKE!

I love it iv used them for many years, some of the costs$ are alittel bit higher but the quaility is great-- never a problem and very easy to use plus a half hour window to cancel your order! Very rare these days with these kinds of online photo services

I have been a loyal customer for years but not any more. I just received my holidays cards and they were terrible. I think it might have had something to do with the card stock they used. All of the photos were grainy/blurry. I didn't have time tonreorder so I'm stuck sending them out or I would have fought for a refund. ( I think they know that's the case at the holidays). Like most people I tried to call but gave up after 45 minutes of waiting! I decided to write a email instead. I just got my response and it was generic basically we're sorry you weren't happy I will pass along the info and we are always evaluating what we use. After spending so much money with them you'd think they want to keep business but I guess not... they lost mine...

So i ordered 120 4x6 prints from shutterfly to make a collage with for my room. I paid 12 dollars for shipping, and it got here in five days. That's where the good things stop. About 80% of the photos were the wrong direction, horribly cropped, or both. I spent 30 minutes on the app making sure they were cropped how I wanted, and they got it wrong somehow. And they sent me 108 prints. Not 121 like i ordered. Some of my favorite photos were left out for some reason, and i still dont know why. How it got through a quality check is beyond me. I attached some of the photos i ordered, vs what I got, so you can at least get a laugh out of it. DON'T ORDER PRINTS FROM SHUTTERFLY.

I used to loved Shutterfly and I've used it for my books for years, the updated version of advanced editing is terrible! It's super delayed (which is annoying when you are trying to resize photos) and takes away options like ribbons, resizing multiple things at once, and I can't copy and paste things. They had a wonderful system before! Wish they would go back.

Ordered Christmas cards the first of December. Here we are, the 23rd, and they can't tell me where they are, when they'll get here, and they won't give me a refund until "after the holiday". They owe me a refund now, as even if the cards come in, there's no way to get them out ahead of Christmas. Called them 4 times, always a 200+ minute wait; obviously I'm not the only one with issues. At least they call me back to tell me that they won't help. Horrible company.

Shutterfly's website is useless!. I have tried contacting someone in so called customer service for the last week. My order was supposedly shipped on December 5th today is the 20th. It has supposedly been sitting in some facility in Atlanta, GA, since Dec 11th. I mean seriously, this is the second time Shutterfly has ruined my Christmas and I really don't know why I even bother. Every time you try to contact someone in customer service it just sends you on a loop back on itself. I tried the phone. I was on for over 2 hours and nothing! It really is a ridiculous set up. So if you want to gamble with you holiday greetings and have no care if your order ever turns up, please go ahead and use this useless company!

I ordered a calander over 2 months ago nothing yet when you write or call all they do is lie about the order oh it's covid oh we don't send to PO box after all this time plus one sales person told me he or she was a manager nope so this is the service you get

Terrible site: mobile app is ridiculous to use. They uploaded THEIR choice of my photos- not the ones I would have picked and left out others I would have wanted. I finally deleted their app from my phone. A day later I received an email saying my credit card was billed over 200 dollars for three books. I immediately told them this was a mistake, I did not submit an order because I was still attempting to edit my photos. Their app is so crappy, its a federal production to edit or change photos. In addition pages were left blank and they say youll get 100 photos but you do not. I am contacting better business bureau and NY Attorney General about their dishonesty. Steer clear and do business with an honest place.

Continued rising cost and thanks to the school they get their cut.
Shutterfly and all the names they use rips customers off, cheats them on discount codes and so much more.

Im sick of these idiot compa ies screwing us working families of our money.

I use to love shutterfly but now days its a joke.

The other day i get a code to get something and i set my cart up and it says its expired.

After spending hundreds within 1yr for 1 child they should be helping us.

A lot of my pictures ended up being over sized and we're cut off. Said all pictures were uploaded and then when I got them quiet a few weren't there so now I'll have to pay a bunch for shipping again. Also material it is printed on is very cheap quality not firm what-so ever. Overall just very unhappy with quality especially for a Mother's Day gift and the cost of shipping.

I have been using Shutterfly for 10 years, making a yearly book and ordering multiple copies as gifts for parents/grandparents. I no longer use a desk top/lap top, I use my ipad but making a book using the app or website from ipad is useless. I have now switched to snapfish, MUCH easier to use!

I ordered express shipping on Baby Shower invitations. Got a email stating they were en route and they never arrived. They emailed me telling me wait 3 more days they will resend. No thanks give me a refund and they don't even care they ruined this ugh I'm too upset

Do not order from this company. There has been posted charges to my card that wasn't suppose to happen. Also shutterfly had stated they processed a reimbursement on two occasions and this is several weeks later and my bank have no records of reimbursement. Only charges. This company is fraudulent.

I went on a bit of a printing kick for the holidays. A friend mentioned shtterlie. All I can say for sure is their "free" or discount items come with absurd shipping, negating the promotion, and the items are always far less that described by way of quality and quantification.

Tip for consumers:
I’d suggest NOT wasting my money on ShutterLie

I ordered a picture book with our family photos for the past year with time to spare before mothers day. The company estimated delivery on or before 5/11 with plenty of time to spare before mothers day 5/14. I noticed today (5/12) that it hadn't arrived or even shipped. After waiting in a queue with more than 100 people for customer service, I was told the item wouldn't arrive in time. I received no notification of the delay. It appears that the company deceptively predicted delivery date before the holiday to increase orders that they knew that they could not deliver. I will never shop here again.

I do like the books but had recently order some booked and due to service issues from their end I wasn't able to offer my last book. The virtual assistant guaranteed me I can order the following day and still get the 25% on top of the 40% which wasn't the case anymore. Long story short and a waste of almost 1h of my time nothing was done from there end. I never leave reviews, as I know some people just complain and I own my own small business, but clearly the head of this company doesn't care about the service anymore or honoured what was promised. Very disappointing, will look order in the future from others.

I ordered Christmas cards on Dec 2. It is Dec 20 already I didn't receive anything. The customer service helped to order again on 12/19, and now the ETA is 12/29. The Christmas is over this year. I can't sent it to my family in time. I has been the customer for almost 20 years and I'll never order again.

Shutterfly has only one goal. To take your images hostage and make you pay to get them back!

Despite Shutmyfly's expertise in designing websites, they claim they don't have an option for you to download your full resolution images. Funny. Shutmyfly used to have a method to download full resolution images in 2009. Looks like they decided to change there business plan for decent website to terrorist image-hostage taking website!:)

Don't delete your original photos and save them on your computer first if you are going to use this website.
