“Beautiful Books and Cards”

I've created 27 projects over the past 15 years on Shutterfly. This includes 15 different photo books. Each and every time, I've always received excellent, professional customer service and beautiful books. I custom design all my books. There may have been a couple of times over the years that I needed Shutterfly to help with a mistake. However, they stand behind there products 100%. If you aren't an experienced design person then ask for help. Use high quality photos! Remember Shutterfly didn't take the pictures. The photo quality of books and cards depend on what you upload. Low quality photos will create poor quality projects; so don't blame Shutterfly for your photos. They will make what you approve. Start your project early enough to allow for help and receive book in ample time in case the book or cards need to be possibly replaced if it's the direct fault of Shutterfly.

I ordered three photo books. The order was processed, they gave me a delivery date and then only one book came in the mail. No explanation- I figured it was an error and called customer service. I was told that it would come in two shipments---Why? This makes no sense and was a huge inconvenience. Now I see all the complaints I understand this is not a one off. I will not use them again. Way too expensive for such poor service!

Biggest sh$tbag, stealer of Christmas joy company out there. Your free shipping is a ruse. Oh can I please have your free shipping that takes 7000 days for the order to arrive? Thank you for pissing me off and stealing my joy at Christmas. Congratulations you aholes.

First of all, I want to mention that this is my first ever experience on writing review. I'm doing that because I'm so content with the Shutterfly service. So my first package was lost and I contacted the customer service through online chat. At first I thought it's just automatic robot replying to me. But the guy named Reuhat (I hope it's the right name) was so nice and professional. So he resent my photoalbum for no cost. It was delivered within 5 days. They also included two gift cards within a package. Thank you Shutterfly. You made my day!

I had the worst experience with my save the dates. Everything looked great when I order them. When I received them in the mail the resolution was terrible and tacky. The paper they use to print is super cheap. The worst experience I've ever had.

I ordered my Christmas cards on 11/30/2022. It is now 12/19/2022 and my cards are not here yet, almost a month later. 2 days after ordering them, I noticed I needed to change my address because I had moved. The cards hadn't shipped yet and I was told that I can change my shipping address. When I never received them in the mail, I called back and was told because I changed my shipping address that's what delayed me getting them on time. When I told the very rude gentleman on the phone what I was told, he insisted I was lying to him. When I said I wanted to cancel my order and I would send everything back if I ever received it, he got very irate with me and said what is wrong with people this time of year. I was so angry and said to him, as soon as my stuff got here I was sending it back. I have done briskness with this company for at least 15 years. I cancelled my account and will NEVER order anything from this company again.

I have used Shutterfly for a long time and have never been disappointed until this year. I paid over 20 dollars for shipping, which is more than I have paid for anything else this year! It said it would be here before Christmas and now today it's saying the 27th. Every day it's later and later. For paying so much, I thought I would at least get my stuff in a timely manner. I understand it's a busy time of the year, but 20 dollars for pictures to ship is ridiculous, and to not even get on time.

I was nervous to call because my accent is pretty thick but I'm careful about my words and I speak as clearly as I can. But the woman on the phone was so irritated with me and told me to just email because she can't understand me.
Then I go to collage. Com and talked to Shell. Wow what a difference because she understood everything I said and helped me and even made me laugh and helped me place the order!
So long shutterfly.

I ordered 3 8 by ten On December 1st was told December 13th delivery. It didn't come Was told it would be the 18th. Called on the 18th. It didn't come. Called again and the girl told me definitely by the 21st. She was so sorry. I immediately got an email after that conversation. Telling me it would not be delivered until the 26 liars. No help no service and didn't care. I would give it a zero star if that was possible

I placed an order, and upon receiving the confirmation email the next day, I realized that I had my things sent to the wrong address. I contacted them immediately that morning via chat and email. I was disconnected 3 times during the chat, and by the time I was able to talk to someone they told me it was too late to cancel my order or to change my address. They said I would need to contact the person at the address i sent it to and have them send it to me. They said they would send me another order when the first order was sent back to them, which means they would make my order twice. As long as the first one was sent back even though all they're going to do was destroy it. So now I'm out $70 and there are 3 Christmas presents my family won't be getting. I will never ever ever order from Shutterfly again. A courtesy order should have been shipped to me, or maybe make it a little easier to change the address the order is being sent to 12 hours after it was placed.

The shipping is costly, and it is not effective and on time. They will give you time frame of delivery, but it will actually occur outside of the time frame given three four days after before your product arrives. Don't always expect delivery on the time.

3 times they got it wrong. 3 times! I finally asked for full refund as I only ordered extra things so I would get free shipping. They said only for phone case I kept explaining I didn't really want other. Stuff but I didn't want to pay for high shipping. They said I can return but I pay return shipping. And I tried to explain this order has been there mistake and to give me label to return. Not what happened. They only refund case. Very disappointed. I will not use them for my business as I intended

I received a $10 off offer from Shutterfly as a new customer. I applied the code & $10 was deducted from my total. Two days later, my order got shipped & my bill is actually $10 more than when I checked out. I contacted their CS. The rep. Asked me to click on the e-mail that gave me the code, then asked me to click on the fine print at the bottom of the e-mail & then asked me to click on a link at the end of the fine print. After three clicks, she told me that according to the term I was not qualified for the promotion & the code I input had been removed -- that means they charged me the amount that I did NOT authorize! Shutterfly sent me the code to use, then removed it AFTER I made my payment! I was totally trapped & can't believe that this business would use such dirty trick to make money. I closed my account right away. Stay away! Their offers are full of traps -- make sure you read their fine lines of fine lines of fine lines if you REALLY want to use their service.

Composing my collage was not a problem but paying for it was the WORST! It would not accept the shipping address. Even after entering my address, triple checking for errors, and clicking save (multiple times), it kept telling me my home address wasn't valid. After all that work putting together a collage, their checkout process was a massive fail. I'm so frustrated, I removed the project entirely and went elsewhere. DO NOT USE SHUTTERFLY! They need to get their act together. I'm out of here and will never be back.

Very unhappy with a bunch if orders this season. Quality issues- and if you order anything free as their promo its really not with jacked up shipping and then it takes 2 weeks to produce sense their profit margin is low. Customer service call says we will call you back saving your place in line 3 times--- NO CALL BACK. Stuck with poor quality items received too late to do anything elsewhere. BUMMED -- spent a lot of $.

I have screenshots of an attempt to purchase an item at an advertised price. When I went to check out, the price jumped with no explanation. I sent the screenshots to Shutterfly and they told me the price increased because I added a promo code. It's dishonest, misleading and a bait and switch tactic. It is unfair for any company to advertise a price for a product and then penalize you because you try to use a coupon. The whole intent of a coupon is to save money. The price increased when I attempted to use a coupon. I think companies need to be stopped from these tactics! Something needs to be done about the dishonesty that is through the internet.

I selected my photos and put them all in order how I wanted them to be placed, which took me over an hour. I selected for Shutterfly to create my book, which they would add my photos to the book and email me back for my review. Once I received the email that the book was ready for review, all the photos I submitted in order were placed in the book out of order, ugh. I called customer service and was informed she would give me another number to call to see if this could be fixed. Could not transfer me. I do not have the time to be calling all over to fix this, when I submitted the photos in order. Will be using someone else.

I ordered 6 metal tiles from Shutterfly they were bright pics I took of the wonderful fruit stands and desserts in Italy to put on my wall in my new dining area and they turned out absolutely beautiful. They are colorful and bright just like the originals. To be honest I first ordered the same pictures from snap fish because they were cheaper and I was greatly disappointed they were dull and cheaply made I never put them up so glad I went to Shutterfly Thank you

I ordered nearly $500 worth of products. They sent me the art without the hardware to hang half of it. When I contacted customer support, they resent me the wrong parts of my order. When I contacted them again, they again sent me the wrong parts of my order. Will never buy from them again.

Tip for consumers:
Just don't. They're incredibly expensive and the products are garbage and the customer support is completely incompetent.

You claim to have Super Rush shipping available on photo book orders but it is not. Why have an inaccurate count down clock on your site if it is not available? Take it down if not available. My order fit the criteria and I even altered it to a different order and Super Rush still not available.

I spent four hours putting my wedding pictures in the order of how the day went. I selected for them to keep it in my order and asked them in the directions to NOT delete any pictures and to keep my order. They deleted pictures and completely rearranged my order. They were supposed to put it back in my order and I still haven't heard anything in ten days. I am extremely disappointed and I will NEVER use them again. How hard is it to follow basic instructions?

I find the new Shutterfly site very difficult to use and will be looking for another place to download my pictures, share them and order picture items. My husband and I took pictures on 2 different devices on our recent vacation. When trying to combine them in an album, I could not put them in the proper order. The best I could do was put them with the same day's pictures but could not move them into the order I wanted them to be in. The previous site was very user friendly to move pictures, edit and crop. This new site is difficult to maneuver from screen to screen, as well. I have used Shutterfly for years but will not be using it anymore, unless it changes.

I ordered holiday cards in early November; received them in early December and the cards were missing the pre-printed foiled lettering! I spend 90 minutes with their customer service to re-order them and have the credit applied. I was told I would received them by today (Dec. 19th) - which is cutting it close, but that was the best they could do. Well, today arrived, so I followed up with customer service, who then told me that they wouldn't be arriving until December 28th! Well, obviously, if they say "Merry Christmas" I don't need them after Christmas! I spent another 90 minutes being hopped to supervisors in order to get a refund, but the only thing they would give was a store credit! I will not be ordering from them ever again and you shouldn't either!

I placed an order for graduation announcements on 3/15. I received the order on 3/22 with the daughters' heads cut off in the picture. I reached out and was reassured they would correct the error and send me new graduation announcements free of charge. I received the "new" announcements on 3/28 with their heads cut off again. When I reached out again, I was told there was nothing they could do about it. To correct it, they told me to resubmit the order - even though they could not guarantee it wouldn't happen again.

I used Shutterfly in the past to do baby books, wedding book, cards, etc. I made an order almost 3 weeks ago and It got lost in the mail. I called and they reordered it and instead of overnighting it, I will receive it in 7-10 days!? So it would've been a month waiting on these thank you cards. Customer service is TERRIBLE now. Please don't use shutterfly. They aren't the company they used to be.

It's going to be a while before I know for sure if after 2 years and 25 contacts I stopped getting advertising Lifetouch ( they now own) snail mail cards to somebody else who never lived at my house. Now for the third time they're ignoring unsubscribe from emails warning on going to lose my Shutterfly photos when I don't have any in there and I haven't for over 20 years

Years ago I had a Shutterfly account it was ok, in fact I loved a perpetual calendar I was able to make on the site but they stopped offering that, & and I closed it years and years ago. The more recent aggravating problem --it isn't me

I spent a great deal of time getting my order together after entering a link on Shutterfly.com that indicated I would receive unlimited free 4x6 prints if I downloaded the app. However, at checkout, I am being charged 0.15 per print, plus shipping. The link to the promotion is still on the website. https://www.shutterfly.com/mobile/ However, apparently this promotion is no longer being honored. Customer service will not honor this promotion in anyway. I have a newborn baby and work full time, so I do not have time to recreate my order on their website, which is the only place they will give credits. I will never order from this Company again.
