Re Order #6483861 placed 8/17. I was charged $78.75 for something sent to an incorrect address and not received; I tried to resolve the issue with Signals' Customer Service but was rudely dismissed. I called back; spoke to manager Nica who assurred me another cardigan would be sent the next day and would arrive in 5-7 buisiness days. That was 20 days ago, but no cardigan.
First it impossible to hear the person on the other line. Too much background noise, the filipino accent on to of noise makes It even harder to understand the person on the other line. Plus the quality of the sound is squawks and hurts my ears. They are rude a very pushy.
The shipping cost is outrageous. $19.95!
Twenty dollars for two items. This organization has the highest shipping costs of any other catalog I have ordered from. This in not expedited shipping cost either. Expect the package to take at least 10 days or more to arrive!
Unfortunately there are several catalogs owned by the same organization.
I hate ordering from them. And only order if it's something I really,really like or need. I'm seriously thinking of canceling the catalog after this purchase arrives. Why be tempted with such idiotic shipping costs!

I ordered 7 gifts for 7 people, from an agent that had English as a second language. 6 were delivered but the seventh was mislabeled. Instead of S. Maple like i had said, it became SMAPPLE. I have called multiple times without any help at all. After lengthy hold times my calls were dropped. I was repeatedly routed to the wrong people (again, language was a problem). I finally reached someone who assured me the right person would call me at 2pm. Of course that never happened. I suggest shopping elsewhere.

My husband purchased a gift certificate for me as a birthday gift. When I tried to use it they told me that it was invalid and wanted me to give them a credit card number to charge while they "sorted out" the issue with my gift certificate. I finally had to ask for a refund of the gift certificate which they still have not refunded. They upon viewing the credit card statement that the gift certificate was charged on there is an additional charge for some sort of VIP membership that was neither asked for or approved. These people are scam artists and thieves. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The worst site I've ever dealt with. Prices changed on items even as I had them in my cart. Called up customer service ("Prina"?) who said she could give me the original price. But couldn't answer Qs on VIP membership. So had to call a different no. Then got transferred back to CS. This time "Chris" said she could not give the items at the price I had originally seen them at.
All in all, I wasted about two hours on futile coversation with CS reps who can barely talk English and communicate very poorly.
Placed an order 12/5/2020. I chatted with them 12/16/2020 for status to find out the order was canceled! I never received ANY communication via e-mail or phone. And the 2 ladies I spoke to= The first one hung up on me; the 2nd one was rude. Not good! I gave them a try and will Never again!

I was notified on my 1st order it was canceled ( which I wanted) & it came anyway. 2nd order --I ordered 1 & the 2nd one came & you have to pay shipping back even when it's their error.
Calling, a nightmare & they will tell you anything. On line contact-- you put your order number in & it ALWAYS says it's not correct, even when you redo it & recheck.

I ordered a printed tee shirt that said "Underestimate me. That'll be fun". When I received the shirt, the lettering was gray and faded looking, not white. I was assured that the unisex size small would fit, as I am a size 4 or small in a women's top. I couldn't get the shirt over my shoulders. The material tag says "Gildan heavy cotton". This is a cheap, lightweight material. Lastly, the shipping cost was $8.99, which was excessive but I wanted this shirt. There is no reimbursement for the shipping cost. If shipping was $5.00 or $6.00 I wouldn't mind having to eat that amount but $8.99 is excessive. Needles to say, the shirt is being returned and I will never order another item from this company.

Double check the sizing of the shirts and ask about the lettering , i.e. is it white and clear or grayed out and looks like the shirt has been washed several times.

There seems to be no customer service what so ever. They say that returns will take up to THREE WEEKS TO PROCESS! What I returned went to a city that is 30 minutes from my house and I have to wait 3 weeks for my $70.00 PLUS refund. The quality of what I bought was laughable. I've purchased from this company for years and I don't know what has happened to them. I'm VERY disappointed!
Beware that their customer service is somewhere in Malaysia or the Philippines maybe - some call takers are very difficult to understand and do not seem to understand me very well. First order, placed in November, was totally missing an item. They did, at least, refund that. What I am VERY ticked off about now is their Christmas Shipping Guide BS! I ordered on December 17. According to the site, you need to order by the 19th at noon for their standard shipping option to get your purchases to you by Christmas. After calling twice and checking online, my sons' gifts finally shipped today and are due to arrive December 26th! Customer service would not refund the $17.99 shipping fee. If you tell customers they will get their order by Christmas so long as they place it at a certain time, then you need to do that! If it becomes apparent that you will be unable to fulfill your end of the transaction, then email with an option to cancel and to let the customer know how much you suck. It was false advertising. As a side note, I never received a confirmation email either. Signals is operating like it's 1998. Shipping should be free. If you ask to speak to a supervisor, they say there is not one available. Total garbage. I will not be ordering from any Universal Screen Arts companies. I hope Jared Florian enjoys a wonderful Christmas with on time presents.

I am FURIOUS at the HORRENDOUS customer service! Call center on the other side of the world, they got everything wrong, wanted to charge me an additional $50 for nothing, made excuses, got it all wrong a second time... I just can't express what a miserable excuse for a business this is. I will NEVER order from them again.
Horrible company to deal with. I placed an order after Thanksgiving for Christmas gifts. Time went on, I received my orders from every other company except Signals. When I logged on - my order stated "customer service to contact". Mind you, all items were listed as "in stock" when I placed the order. I called, emailed, tried to live chat, but never received any response. After trying for multiple days, I was successful in logging into their live chat. The answer from Customer Service was they would "have a supervisor look into my order at the warehouse". Seriously, it was 12/21/22 - they offered no accommodations to try to get my gifts to me by Christmas, just empty platitudes of "sorry". I cancelled the entire order and blocked all charges on my credit card. They are the worst! If I had been contacted and informed that they, for some unknown reason, could not fulfill my order, then I could have tried a different company - it's not like they sell unique items not found elsewhere on the internet. Avoid them at all cost. They don't stand behind their services.

I sent my sister a metal angel lawn stake ornament as a birthday gift through Signals and it arrived badly damaged. The halo was bent at a 45 degree angle and there was visible damage to the finish. My sister told me that the packaging consisted of a collapsed cardboard box that was too small for the item. It was taped shut and part of the lawn ornament was sticking out the top when it arrived. I told her I'd take care of the issue, and I emailed Signals through their site numerous times but got no response. I called the customer service number and talked to someone in a call center. I told him what the issue was and he said he would send out a new item and that I would have to pay to return the damaged one. I absolutely refused to do this since shipping on the first item was $18.99 and it arrived damaged through no fault of mine. He finally agreed to send a free shipping label via email. Today my sister tried to return the item using the label they provided, and the USPS said it was not a free shipping label. So, she took it to FedEx (who delivered the package) and they said the same thing. So, to make a long story endless, I called Signals again today and they said that we must have taken the package to the wrong place, that it was our fault, blah, blah, blah. I got completely fed up and told them if they want the damaged item back, they can send someone to pick it up from my sister's house. I'll never order another thing from them. Ridiculous.

I ordered several items online on Dec 11, and by Dec15th, still no notice it shipped from Signals. I was on hold 35 minutes, and finally called back again. Customer service, "Was sorry it hadn't been shipped out YET, and "they would ship it overnight". On January 3rd I got a FedEx email to let me know, "They had just received the items January 2nd, and it would arrive Jan 3," Not once did Signals respond about anything shipping out, and they charged an outrageous cost for shipping 2 small items. I will never use them again. Another item to another person didn't get there until January 7th, ordered Dec 9.and on that order, I paid for "Overnight shipping" on the 2nd friends gift. It still took over a month to be shipped at all from Signals. Repeated emails were ignored.

Since these were gifts, I had no way to know if they arrived because Signals sent no verification of receipt of the initial orders, nor was I given a shipping dates. It was too late to ask them to "Forget the whole order" so I could order elsewhere, I wasn't given that option. They also do not tell you when it will arrive. I have since canceled their catalog and emailed them that, "I will never order from them again".They didn't respond to any emails about the two orders at any time.

Never got a "Shipping notice, and so I called 2 times,the last on Dec 15th, and was told, "They hasn't left Signals yet"..Signals Customer Service on Dec 15 2020, told me (after 35 minutes on hold) "They were sorry and behind and would have it shipped out overnight at no cost to me"..Still nothing. If not for a FedEx email when it was received to FedEx, I wouldn't know these items never got there till January PAST even New Years. One gift was for a child too!
Sometimes you just get a sense something is wrong about a company, and that is what happened with Signals. I placed a large order (between $700 and $800) for several garden items. The next day I got a phone message from Signals saying that they were "having trouble processing processing" my credit card. Checked with my credit card bank, and saw that they had placed a hold in my card for possible fraudulent use. They often do that for an international purchase, but it is extremely unusual for a domestic transaction. So I did a quick check online for complaints about Signals and their group of companies (Acorn, Bas Bleu, etc.). I found nothing substantial, and I confirmed that it is a privately held company in the USA. So I cleared the hold on my card and phoned Signals to tell them to run the card again. The agent, who did not listen to me, asked me to run through my full identification info, and then asked me for a credit card. What? I had instructed her to run the one I submitted. Why would they not have that on record? Something told me to cancel the order, so I did. I cannot out my finger on what felt wrong about this, but I went with my gut. So, fair warning on Signals.

I ordered book markers for my book club. Thought I was getting more than one, but nope $15.00 plus tax for one teeny tiny bookmarker. Too much to return, will not order anything again from Signals.
I returned a defective 3D remote moonlight for exchange and Signals charged me again for same defective product. Cancled my debit card at bank's advise.

I tried to post a negative review of this product and no surprise, Signals did not post it. Apparently Signals only post positive reviews. Be warned this business sure seems quite suspicious. If I could give negative stars I would. Last year they sent me the wrong order and were impossible to deal with when trying to correct it. I decided to try again recently, but when I went to check the order status, I saw that my order hade been cancelled. When I inquired, I was told that my credit card was declined and that I had to pay using check or money order. I checked with my bank and they never received the charge request, so the card was clearly entered incorrectly, but instead of contacting me, they cancelled the order without informing me and decided that I would be unable to use credit cards in the future, apparently. I have absolutely sterling credit and was essentially made to feel like a potential criminal. In this age of online ordering from so many competitive companies, one would think they would offer at least an attempt at decent customer service. Stay away from this and all of their sister companies. Interestingly, they also offer 100% satisfaction, which is the biggest joke of all.

I placed an order. It arrived with 3 of the 4 items that I ordered, and one was backordered as per an email. No packing sheet was enclosed in this shipment. The same day I receive another box from this company with the same 3 items that were in the first box, again no packing slip enclosed. I called customer service and the person I spoke to put me on hold off and on for 45 minutes because she did not how to handle the situation. Finally she says she will email me a packing slip within 24-48 hours and I should take it to the post office and it would be sent back to them at no cost to me. Today I took the extra package to the post office and was informed that the email that I had received was not acceptable and would cost me $15 to ship it back to the company. I called customer service and the person I spoke to said I will send you a shipping label. I ask to talk to a supervisor since I had already been through this drill and she said," No supervisor is available". After another 30 minutes of getting no where with this woman, I ended the call by saying that I felt since it was their mistake and I had wasted enough time on trying to be a good consumer, that the company should eat the loss. I will not deal with this company again as they are clueless on how to solve a simple issue and provide lousy customer service. BE YE WARNED!

I have ordered from Signals before with no issues, but have also never had to try and contact customer service. However with my most recent order I have encountered issues. I have contacted customer service via several different numbers no less than 8 times. Each time I call I am told I need to call a different number as they can't help me. I then call the new number and am told to call the other numbers as they can't help me. It is a viscous circle. I also emailed begging for someone to call me and no response. I have now had to resort to the BBB and the Attorney General's office. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
We ordered a kitchen saint statue. We got socks that said "Get me coffee". They made us send back the socks before they would give us what we ordered.
I placed two orders on line. Both orders were canceled by the company, without so advising me. I guess that the ownership is not in this to make a profit. What is the point? Need to investigate.

Placed an order. Was offered a refund on $15.99 shipping in exchange for email. Didn't happen. I DID start getting 3/4 spam emails from them per day, every day, like clockwork. Got 3 out of 4 items ordered. One item on backorder. Today, a mysterious $14.95 charge appeared on my Paypal account. VIP membership that I never signed up for. Notified Paypal to cancel this.
As an update... I filed the complaint through Paypal. I have been assured there should be no further money going to Signals through them from me. They contacted Signals with the complaint about the VIP membership. No reply in the several days alloted, so I was issued a $14.95 refund from Paypal. I would also like to add that looking at the invoice and the attached return label, there is a $11.95 charge to return anything. I'd bet it is a great way to gain VIP membership and the monthly charges again.
These folks claim to give a portion of proceeds to Public Television, but the spammy nature of how they operate doesn't even motivate me to try to verify that now. I am sure it is a bald-faced LIE. I contacted the general manager of the local PBS station and she showed me online links where Signals changed ownership years ago. She went further to say that she has no knowledge of them contributing funds. Didn't say it wasn't true, but if they really were a major contributor, one would think it would be common knowledge and broadcast through LinkedIn or other business social media.

If you want a charge for some VIP Membership that you know nothing about, they will be glad to charge you for it on the sly. They are out to fool you. Very slick catalog mailed to your house. Nice website. Place an order and be shown a new level of @#$%ery.
