Like many others, I believed the hype about this host, they are recommended literally everywhere. But as I have since discovered, this is because everyone and their mum has a Siteground affiliate account, and every review you read if clickbait and gets paid if you signup via their links.
I really have nothing positive to say about my experience with Siteground, too many issues and the customer service simply do not care and are only intereste din upselling you to a more expensive service that will not solve the issue.

SiteGround is the absolute best hosting company in the world. I have used nearly 4 other hosting companies, but once I found SiteGround the search was over. The hosting is fast and reasonably priced and the support is AMAZING. Literally, the support has saved me so much time and money over the months.
The support has helped me with errors I get on my site not even related to hosting. They are so knowledgeable, friendly, and even funny at times. Most hosting companies have terrible support from what I have found. SiteGround is top-notch!
Also, I should mention that if you use WordPress SiteGround offers an amazing site optimizer plugin and a security plugin. These are exclusive to SiteGround and are amazing!

I've been using Siteground for more than 3 years now. The hosting is very responsive and the support team is very responsive too. I believe having great support team is very crucial for running any WordPress and WooCommerce site because the chance of getting into trouble comes almost daily.
The great features of Siteground I like the most:
1) of course fast hosting with good TTFB
2) great support and got things sorted out almost every time and direct me to the right path to get in touch with software developer
3) Fundamental WordPress tools like Backup and Staging which are built into the service is very important for me because you never know when thing can go south. So staging a test site and backup safe me a lot of troubles.
So far so good.

I've been a customer of SiteGround for going on five years, managing dozens of smaller client sites as well as my own. Over that time, I've had plenty of issues to contend with, and have reached-out to the customer service team at SiteGround dozens and dozens of times.
What's amazes me over all this time is how each and every technician I chat with (or otherwise interact with) always has the same positive, friendly, "what can we do to help you" attitude. Every time I chat with them, I'm made to feel like a friend of their organization, and I sense that they'll stop at nothing to resolve my issue as quickly yet professionally as possible. In a day and age when it seems most organizations are too busy or don't want to put the time or money into truly helping their customer base, SiteGround seems to have taken the opposite approach and, in my experience at least, seems to always have my back.
There are lots of web hosting companies out there--hosting is almost a commodity. While SiteGround has very competitive pricing, their network is rock-solid and, I believe, they can compete with anyone, it's the customer service that has kept my business with them for nearly five years now.

Having a wordpress site is complex because you always need to have the site updated, and updates come out all the time. We were using BanaHosting we payed every month in time, but this month due to a credit card changed we forgot to update it in payment methods and after 8 days BanaHosting blocked our WordPress on the same day we launched a big marketing campaing! BanaHosting had no way to contact them for the emergency, just a stupid ticketing system... what does this have to do with SiteGround? In desperation I got into siteground, contacted their support and explained my situation. They explained they got me covered, they have a tool to import automatically or hire an expert to do it manually (I had to do this since I have no experience with wordpress and BanaHosting made wordpress unaccessible) and now they are working to import my site and save our business. During this process, SiteGround support was with me resolving any questions and providing guidance. It was amazing, it was not like talking to a burocratic/robotic company like BanaHosting, SiteGround was like talking for a friend and a real business partner. I totally recommend them. The price is totally worth ir for the service they provide and the support if sh$t hits the fan.

I needed to make a quick update on one page of my site -- and the durn thing would NOT let me login. Wouldn't even let me get to the login page(this is wordpress), and instead, kept shooting me back to my home page.
George had the presence of mind to ask if I'd recently added any plugins, which I had. He then disabled it, and I was back in business! This was especially important as I was running a promo... and it was CRITICAL the site work.

Siteground Technical support always responds quickly and go above and beyond, leaving no stone unturned and dig deep to fix problems as fast as possible. For example, a Technical Support guy named Adem S. Personally dug deep into a complicated SSL issue to discover the root cause then he explained in easy to understand language what was causing the problem, the various options I had and even guided me into making the best decision. I am very impressed because he made me feel like a valued customer.
The SSL problem was caused by the way WordPress works and its impact on the Wordfence plugin, so it had nothing to do with Siteground really, but this Technical support guy spent a lot of time to help me discover the cause and fix it.

Siteground is expensive. The price of it is high comparing to other hosting and its configuration. Besides, there may have a business with codeable and for which they have partnership with codeable.io. Codeable is expensive but it has less skilled programmers. Most of the programmers of codeable don't know simple SSH. Codeable estimates $300 to migrate a simple woocommerce site which can cost highest $50 in upwork or freelancer. Even as much as I know, siteground itself migrates big sites for $25 only. Siteground recommends to its clients to use codeable for which its clients are getting great loss. As most cliens of siteground are not expert in technology, it is hard for them to understand and so they depends on its recommendation. For this reason, I can think that they are not honest and moral to their clients.

I was contacting the help center via chat, as I was already searching for hours for a solution to my problem. The technical assistance was analysing, asking the right questions and passed my support ticket over to the 2nd level team as the question was more tricky. The 2nd level solved my issue :).
All in all from starting the chat, waiting the chat to be started, writing with the 1st level and having the answer that solved my problem from 2nd level, it took about 45min.
Really well done! Friendly and competent team and great workflow within the help center.

I recently moved from Hostgator to SiteGuard and currently I have the same site www, padlocks.co.nz on Hostgator and www.padlocks.online at SiteGroiund, Both hosts offer excellent chat support. I find the SiteGround website complicated to navigate round but it does offfers more oportunity to develop ones site. My website is marginally faster on SiteGuard but don't believe all the hype from the affiliates as SiteGuard offers them generous rewards for promoting their site.
