I had an issue with my website that was causing extremely high CPU/second usage. Quite a technical issue that took a lot of work over several days to solve. The SiteGround team worked me through the various sages of investigation until the problem was solved. I received the dreaded WordPress white screen and my chest began to hurt. LOL I was in a state of panic so I opened 2 support tickets because the first ticket didn't allow enough characters to for me to explain the issues. Later I learned not to open up additional support tickets. I reached out to Siteground technical help and within 30 minutes the issue was solved. I was pleased with Siteground handling the issue as soon as I bought it to their attention.
Tip for consumers:
Open up a support ticket as soon as an issue develops. Don't waste a lot of time trying to figure out the issue when the professionals can diagnose much faster than you'll be able.

I've been with siteground for just over 5 years, Migrated from Hostgator, Godaddy and a few other small fries before finally finding a home here at SiteGround. I'm a happy subscriber to Siteground. Moved away from Hostgator about 4 years ago. I've always been happy with uptime and chat support at SG. The load speed has never been a problem, nor issues with Wordpress. I found myself today facing renewals of 24, yes you read that right, 24 sites over the next 6 months. Moving them all to another hosting company seemed like the way to go, but the tech and billing folks at SG talked me off the edge, and we put together an affordable solution. It's still gonna be expensive 36 months from now when I have to renew again, but until then I'll likely be happy with the service, like I've been for the last 4-5 years.

After 4-plus years with Siteground, our experience as a company has been very positive. Exceptionally so. And here's the short list:
1) Chat response after my initial query was no more than 1-min: 30-sec [that was the longest "wait"].
2) Early on, had gremlins on our site after coordinating content for legal and compliance reasons with third parties. Once again to chat response/service where I typed in the issues. The Siteground tech helped two ways: one, by making changes on their end and two, by walking through steps we needed to do on our end.
3) Their explanations are easy to understand for mortals like me. I don't work in HTML.
I haven't been disappointed with their services. And I suspect it'll remain that way...

I was forgot with one of my site hosted here has automatic renewal on. Unfortunately, the client who owns the site didn't want to continue the service with me, due to this whole economic slow down which impact them as well. So now I'm left with the bill myself. So I asked Siteground for a help with the refund, and just like that, in less than 5 minutes of chat, I got a refund for 11 months, the 1 month charged because it's already running, but it's fine. Really glad for that, during this time of pandemic, knowing I don't have to pay that much for something that I forgot. Always love siteground from day 1.

I've been with SiteGround a number of years now, and one thing has been consistent... their support is amazing. I design websites and know enough of the back end to be dangerous. SG's support has bailed me out a number of times, and in a timely fashion. It's easy enough for a business to get the sale, but it's how they provide support over the years that really matters. I am writing a WordPress plugin to support a new business I want to start. It's fairly complex. The hosting service I was using previously was just too slow to make it a viable customer-facing application for selling my services (5-10 second response time). So I started looking for a new hosting service. I chose SiteGround and I am very happy with them. I started this process a few days ago. Moving my WordPress application to SiteGround has seen a few bumps. Mainly because I am still writing and debugging the plugin. But, the online chat support is fantastic. Fast, easy and has resolved my issues the three times I've used it thus far. Also, the platform is wicked fast. I was used to clicking reload and looking at my phone for a bit before looking to see my result. Now my results pop up before I can even reach my phone. I am a happy camper.

I just spent over 1.5 hours in a chat window with Atanas P. And he was so patient working with me to solve my issue uploading to my website. My old web host would have tried to pass this problem off onto a third-party app I use, but Atanas stuck with it until he found a problem. The issue isn't solved yet, but it has been bumped up to Senior techs where I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of it. But even if not, I'm still happy with the effort that was put into solving my issue. Thanks, Atanas and SiteGround. Hey HR! Give this guy a big pay raise!

There are many website hosts out there, but SiteGround has surpassed all of my expectations. It is user friendly and super powerful. Above all, their Support Team on the live chat is incredible. They walked me through everything in language I could understand and if when I asked clarifying questions, they rephrased and broke it down further.

Siteground is not the bargain basement of hosting but you get what you pay for and they have been oustanding since we moved all our hosting over from GoDaddy. I could not be more pleased and would highly recommend them.

Don't wait! If you want good hosting with outstanding support then sign up. I am sorry I waited until after GoDaddy support completely let me down.

I reached out to them today- my plan was set to expire 10/20... so imagine my surprise when I see that they charged me a renewal fee on 10/6.
I reached out and they were absolutely amazing at reversing the charge and making it right (which they always are! In the past one guy spent 2 hours in chat with me trying to figure out why my server was being blocked- he was GREAT!)
But I will say to use them with caution. This is not the first time Ive had "tech glitches" like that. The rep also told me that if I downgraded my plan ahead of time- it would take effected immediately and charge me immediately... so obviously renewals are just suggestions at siteground. They auto renewed and charged me 3 weeks too early... then when I wanted to auto-downgrade, to take effect at the auto renew date... apparently that's not a thing either. They could use a few tech/automation upgrades.
But the awesome service makes up for the unexpected hiccups.

Watch your bank statements, and dont be afraid to reach out if they charge you too soon!

What a scam this place is, charges for Weebly pro and then takes all-access away when we don't renew to the highest hosting plan and then won't refund the money spent on the pro-Weebly plan. Stay away from these guys they will scam you in the end

Yet, we are willing to make a one-time exception and prorate the yearly Weebly Pro fee. A refund for the unused months of service was issued and applied to the card on file.
