What started off as a decent webhosting/sitebuilding experience more than 7 years ago, in the past three years has morphed into a nightmare. The cost of hosting more than doubled and they wouldn't allow me to renew for just one year as I had previously renewed for a three year term. Now they wanted $520 for three year hosting of a small, essentially static, business website (nothing fancy at all, no ecommerce, nothing but a few static pages). I asked to change it to a one year term because I was anticipating closing down the business in a couple of months. At first they said no- it has to stay at three years - $520. Then after I threatened moving to a different webhosting company, they said fine - one year for $420! This message came from a friendly phone voice that sounded like they were straight out of New Delhi. If I could give Sitelio a negative rating, it would be a negative 10 out of 10. Just totally insulting. Don't trust these creepy people with your credit card or Paypal account - they will do everything they can to abuse you.
