After I booked a flight with them they send me a booking reference number then I never received a confirmation from the airlines as they stated. When called them they said sorry the dates chosen are not available and if you want to cancel you be charged $200.00 plus no refund,they offer me a booking for 5 time more.
Any way I end up paying them this mush $ 513.00 for nothing

I searched internet and found that this site had a very good deal for two passengers. So I booked two tickets for about $700. Ten minutes later I received a phone call from an agent there and told me that there was only one seat available for this price and the second ticket needs to add another $1500. I asked them to cancel all my bookings but they do not have this kind of within 24 hours cancellation policy. Meanwhile, they told me if I did not pay the second ticket, I would not be able to get the first seat with the discopunt price and also no refund at all. We have been on phone for hours to argue this kind of traping business pattern which I never met before with travel agencies. Endup was either I lost $700 or had to pay $2000 for two tickets.

I booked a flight but the next day I get an itinerary that has fine print that the booking cannot be finalized until I contact them. Nevermind that they had already emailed me 4 times and called twice trying to contact me. That was when my radar turned on. I call them back and the rep tells me that the ticket I purchased has a no carry on restriction which sounds ridiculous. When I tell him that if thats the case I will pay for luggage or carryon at the airport, he gets irritated and states that wont be allowed by the airline. Airlines dont deny or even discuss your carryon unless its too large to fit in overhead compartment. He then tells me that only females can bring one purse. If I want to bring a carryon I will have to pay an extra $180 on top of the original price for each of my tickets. When I say that I am calling the airline to ask about this he gets angry and tells me not to do that and that they wont help me. Then he tries to tell me that he will take 60$ off of the extra price and even says "I can do that for you Ma'am". I then tell him again that I think they are scammers and I am going to call the airline, he gets angrier and tells me that I cannot get a refund at which time I let him know that I am already on my bank site, can see that there are no charges and I have already blocked my debit card. He yells and then hangs up on me. I call my bank and report the company as fraud and block any charges from them. Do not give these scammers your business. They are preying on hard working people that dont realize what they are.

On the SmartCheapFares website, I found a roundtrip flight on Southwest Airlines from Long Beach, CA to Las Vegas for $153.72. Before I made my purchase, I saw that the SmartCheapFares website said that the price did not include any carry-on or check-in luggage. Being aware that Southwest Airlines does not charge for carry-ons or the first 1 or 2 pieces of checked luggage, I went ahead with my purchase. The following day, I received a phone call from Enzo Carter with SmartCheapFares. He told me that the flight I booked did not include luggage and that I had to pay additional for any kind of carry on or check in luggage. When I tried to explain to him that I didn't need to pay more and told him I had no luggage whatsoever, he insisted I had to pay a total of $350.98, which was $197.26 more than what I agreed to pay. Every time I tried to explain to him that I didn't need to bring any luggage with me on the flight, he rudely interrupted me and kept telling me that I had to pay the additional fee. The scam company, SmartCheapFares, tried to charge me $197.26 in addition to my $153.72 airfare and that I had to pay it regardless if I was taking luggage or not. SmartCheapFares Are liars and cheats.

When I told Enzo Carter but I refuse to allow them to charge my credit card any more than the $153.72 I agreed to, we ended the call. As a result of me refusing to pay the additional $197.26 they were trying to scam me out of, I received an e-mail the following day from someone identifying themselves as a manager, saying they would not move forward with my booking and would not be charging my credit card.

Never use SmartCheapFares.com, they are a scam!

SmartCheapFares company is a scam, there no confirmation that my ticket was been issued. I called them. They told me that the ticket price is promotion price and it does not included carry-on. It was a timer to complete the booking and there is no information about ticket type on the site. I could not cancel the ticket even it was not issued. I could not get the ticket for the original proposed price. I spent a lot time on the phone and had to pay more at the end. Very unhappy

They are scamsters and I would advise people, definitely do not go through them. They hoodwink you into booking flights with discounted fares. But they dont really book your fares and dont send any confirmation. After a day or two, they respond saying airline has raised it fares. So you request that your booking be cancelled but they respond saying once booking done, cannot be canceled. Deceptive and fraudulent business tactics. I had to cancel my credit card to avoid charges and make alternate bookings at a higher fare, as these scamsters wasted my time. Attached is my booking with them. This was done last saturday and today is Thursday and it is still showing "booking is in progress

This is not a real company. They will attempt to extort money from you with a bait and switch. They will tell you a pack of lies and tell you that you already paid for a ticket that doesn't exist and you will lose the amount you paid unless you pay A LOT more money. BUYER BEWARE. When I refused to pay more money I received an email that stated that I did verbally agree to pay more and they intend on charging my card for original amount plus another $250.
