I had a pair of SmittyBilt side steps on my Ford F150. They rusted so bad on the weld portion and bend that connects to the mounting plate that they almost caused an injury when they broke. I contacted their customer service who would do nothing as I was not the original owner, but my truck has been in my same family since new so I know how well it was cared for. This steps are complete junk. They will likely rust and fall apart in a few years. Save yourself the agony and grief and go with another company. Sad too as I try and support American owned small business.
Ordered Smittybilt tailgate, wrap it in snow camo vinyl and installed it my self. 5x more sturdy than stock and looks incredible. Great product.
