Had my procedure 11/6/2019. Did 3 areas. Upper abs, Lower abs & Hips. I've gone from all XL AND XXL cloths to mediums and smalls. I went from a 14 Jean to a 6 and I'm only a few weeks shy of 3 months post op. I had this done in the Woburn Massachusetts office and everyone was so sweet, friendly & helpful. Every time I emailed Brittany she got back to me quickly. I want to do a few more areas and I 100% recommend this place. One photo was 3 weeks after procedure and other photo was 6 months after.
I paid $9562.62 at my initial consultation on 5/07/24 for a procedure scheduled for 9/4/24. Due to the location of the services, I canceled my appointment over a month before it was scheduled. I was told I would be reimbursed within 30 days of my cancellation. It has been over 30 days since the cancellation, and I still have not received the funds back on my credit card statement, so I called and inquired. I was told I would receive a callback. I did not receive a call, but two days later, I was sent an email stating that it had been over 45 days since I made the credit card payment, so they would "resubmit" my refund via a $7070.62 check that I would receive within 7-14 days. I never had this service. I went to a 10-minute consultation in May '24. I canceled well within the cancellation time frame. My refund should be in full, in the amount of $9562.62. This was the response I received: I apologize for the delay with the refund. I have resubmitted it and we will be mailing a check out for $7070.62. The check should arrive in 7-14 business days. (Since it has been over 45 days from the time we charged the Amex, we can't refund the card directly). Please see the attached Financial Agreement. This was the worst experience I ever had. I went for a simple lypo and doctor suggested me to do the remaking surgery to "fix" the hanging stomach after the lypo. They charged me $10K for this procedure but the worst thing was that I never loose an inch and during the procedure I was feeling everything, the worst experience.
I'm doing this with the only purpose to call your attention and avoid things like this happen to you. It's not only the money, we are human beings and we deserve respect for our integrity, time and money.

My review is for the Oakbrook office. Every bad review about this company is right! I thought I was making an informed decision. I did my homework and decided to give Sono Bello a chance. If i would of really looked at the reviews closer, I would have noticed a pattern of reviews only for the consult being great. They have so many horrible stories on the better business bureaus website and those stories are true. This company runs a scam. They take your money and act like everything is great, I received a phone call two days before my preop saying my doctor suddenly had a family emergency and my appointment was canceled! No other explanation. So i decided to do a little homework on the doctor they gave me( which honestly i should of done before) but turns out, this doctor was not even affiliated with Sona Bello any more, No wonder he couldn't do my preop! I pray these people and this company shutdown. I think it is horrible what they are doing to people. I am so happy I caught this lie in time, I should of listened to gut. I feel like i've dodged a bullet. Please, Please, Please look through the better business bureau. The only good reviews are on google and they are mostly from your consult. Listen to your gut, there are so many other safe, great places and doctors to go to. Oh one other mention, because they cancelled on me, I was given an email confirming a refund. I haven't recieved it yet, so I have taken measures to ensure i will get it back. Sona Bello if you ever read this, You all should be ashamed of yourself!
When someone struggles with losing fat, it is evil to exploit and deceive them. My procedure in august 2020 with sono bello was a traumatizing experience.
During my procedure, Dr. Stapenhorst was very hostile when i reacted to a sharp pain helplessly. He yelled at me saying "I don't care" how do you say that to someone who has trusted you with their life?
From my first visit with Dr. Stapenhorst, he spoke to me in a very demeaning way, this made me feel very uncomfortable, I reached out to Miss Majik (told her i would prefer a tummy tuck) she assured me that even if he comes of arrogant, he does a good job and a trisculpt ex will be a game changer and i will love my results assuring me of these results being almost immediate.
Imagine being scared from end to end of your abdomen leaving you belly uneven.
Fast forward to 6 months after, expressing my concerns of my unsatisfactory results for a very painful procedure of over 14k+
I am now being lectured and advised to take 45 mins walk to help loose fat for the next 6 months... really?
Hi my name is Misty Lopez when I came to Sono Bello I had lost 83 pounds but I still couldn't get rid of these lumps of hard fat on my outter thighs and calves. But after my lipo I looked so different the same day of my operation then 3 weeks later I was even smaller. I had went to sonobello in 2019 to have fat removed in Portland Oregon. I was told I had to have 3 areas done or they wouldn't do it. Then I was also told if you pay extra you could get it re-done if you weren't happy stipulation you didn't gain weight in 6 months. I didn't gain any weight. I'm not happy with results. I went back in. Was told they would do just a little bit to fix what I was not happy with. That they would submit my concerns and maybe redo. I then asked for a refund for paying extra money for a redo. They said maybe. Don't trust this establishment. They will take your money and rip you off. They also said they would do it but don't call them they would call me. I find this very unprofessional on all accounts. They did not give me photos or paperwork. They did show me photos but funny thing was the photos showed skinny and fat. As in I have a tattoo. Its skinny in one and fat in the first one. So I also paid 1200 extra to have my so called banana roll done. They said I didn't. Then I stated oh yes I did. I have all that paperwork. I'll rate a one star but I actually don't rate them but zero

I fell for the BS, although I wasnt able to finance it qithout a cosigner, so i got one. Yet I still wasnt sure it was the right thing to do...
She contacted Synchrony and they both convinced us to go forward with the understanding the cosigner will be removed in a year, all we had to do is contact them and they would take care of it. Well i did have the procedure and the year just passed and they claim they never said that. Yet the cosigner never signed any documents and yet they wont remove her name.
After the initial swelling and I did look ok with clothes on. When i bent over my stomach drooped like i had gastric bypass, my stomach and instestines appeared as tho they were about to fall out. (Quite disgusting).
I am not extremely self conscious of my body and only if i can go back i would of never did this.
Sonobello engaged with me on these matters and we have resolved the matter. Their customer service department was friendly and understanding.
Had multiple procedures at the Beverly Hills location in LA. On 28 Nov 22. Nurse in OR seemed juvenile and I coulld hear her from the next room prior to surgery laughing about her weekend and a friend being upset and crying using several explicits. Made me feel uncomfortable. She at no point cared for me or my presense during the procedures.
At night I had a call from the Doc. I relayed to him that the prescribed pain meds were not working for ma and that I wished to be prescribed something different. He said to give it time. Next morning I called the center to resolve pain management issue. I tried to relay that this happened before following another surgery (that pain meds needed to be swapped from one kind to another), The following day I contacted the clinic again on same issue without resolve or follow up/through. I was in so much pain I could not attend my one week follow up. I never received a call or email for my one month follow up and I have yet to hear of a 3 month follow up. Before I had a big belly. Now I am just deform. They'll do anything to get you scheduled and get you the credit line, but after that you are nothing to them. I wish I had never done this and I definitely never want to be seen there again. Ever. Desiree

I wish i wouldnt have gone there. I feel like the staff is nice, but it feels fake mostly like at a car dealership. I had upper, middle, lower abdomen lipo, along with back bra area and pubic area done. I.mafe it clear this was my one shot at feeling and looking confident after years of hating my stomach from having kids very young. Despite feeling pain during the procedure, I was still optimistic. Recovery went well in the beginning and I did EVERYTHING they told me to. At about the 3 month mark I noticed my stomach getting hard and protruding. I called and went in to see the nurse. She wasn't sure what the issue was, but felt that they may need to do a touch up procedure. After that I was scheduled to see the Dr that did my procedure to which I was told by her that I had only lost 20 lbs and to come back when I lost another 20. Her attitude and everything was horrible and I could tell even the nurse was shocked by what she was saying. I left there in tears, which I rarely cry. I was told I could get a second opinion from another surgeon there, which I did. I was told I would need my stomach muscles sewn. Basically a traditional tummy tuck, which I was told in my consult I wouldn't need. $15k later I still hate my stomach, but now because it looks like I'm trying to smuggle a beach ball in it. I look pregnant which is EXACTLY why I had the procedure done. I'd just like a refund to cover the cost of the next surgery.
I had a consultation with Dr. Hsu in Beverly Hills before my surgery. I was doing stomach, hips, back bra line and waste. The healing has been interesting, some incision sites have not healed yet, going on 4 weeks, and the tightness is unbearable. I can not bend back or stretch my stomach. It feels like the stomach muscles are ripping. I called to speak to the Doctor yet each time I call I get a medical assistant who tells me to put on a warm compress. Are you kidding me? My stomach muscles are torn apart and I can't bend and she recommends a compress?
Overall the doctors and staff are all inexperienced. If they had more experience they would have their own practice and not work for the factory farm called SonoBello.
I've requested and MRI from my regular physician because I believe Dr. Hsu has caused some massive internal damage.
The doctor isn't ever available and want there for my 1 week follow up and there isn't another follow up for 3 months. Yet I am healing in a deformed way. If you want professional help for your fat removal, find a professional plastic surgeon. The ones hired by sonobello are inexperienced, bad, not board certified, have no real skills or for some other reason they work for a company instead of have their own practice. It's just awful what they do to thousands of patients. All the disfigurements across the US. It has got to be illegal, to rush people through surgeries and not have a proper recovery plan or a doctor available post procedure.
The biggest red flag for me was during the consultation with the doctor after I paid 9k, you only see the doctor after you pay, he asked ME if I was a physician! I assume it's because I was asking intelligent questions pre surgery….
Keep interviewing other places and don't go with Sonobello. I would never recommend to a friend and I wish I didn't do my stomach. It's so ugly now, before I could wear a bikini and now I'm so deformed I could never. You can also see where the cannula went into my side for the back bra line. I have a long indent on the side of my body.

HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! If there was negative 100 stars I would put that! I got contacted by them on jan 6 and they made me virtual appointment on jan 14 at 3:30. Ive been waiting for this appointment because i have money and ready any minute for procedure. So on jan 14 i cancelled ALL my plans and was waiting for the consultant to call. Guess what?! NOBODY CALLED! At 3:34 I received msg from consultant that she is running late and will call me shortly from the 267-... number. I was waiting till 6pm. And still NOBODY called! They dont value customers time, imagine if they have UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE, how results will look! When i texted them and complained about wasting my time somebody replied that they called me at 3:42 from 646 number. Called just one time and DIDNT leave any voice msg. Do you know how many robotic calls i get a day everyday?! Was I suppose to know that it was them if they sent msg that they will be calling from totally DIFFERENT NUMber?! And if you are calling from different number why not to leave a voice or call couple more times so I would know that its something important or send me a text that they decided to call me from different number that stated in text message. And when i tried to complain they accused me for not picking up the phone! And by the way probably it happened for better because i did research and found out that one lady DIED FROM SONO BELLO! So their customer service proving their work and results! Take a look at no calls no voice and no texts!
The pictures shown and my results do not match! Doctor Willard blamed it on an excuse and would not stand up for there Garanty of satisfaction!
Zero bedside-operation manners! One of the lesser staffs pitied and literally muttered "no dignity" as she tried to help me post-op bandaging. She asked me if I'm a nurse 'cause I took it all "calmly".
Got zero-negative post-op follow-up. Offered only 1compressed garment (soiled and bloody one worn from the surgery) and when I called them. They told me that the 2nd pair may arrive a week + later. I was to use the same soiled garment for the whole week and that they are not in charge of the 2nd pair. Now, I am more scared that my incisions will get infected than I am scared of the operation! If they had told me beforehand, I would have ordered my own compression garments just like they had me bring my own towels to the surgery (which I did, and was grateful I did) Truly!
However, the marketers and all responsible for payment were exceptionally sweet! Payment collected in full before the procedure! Once payment was done, things changed real fast for me! Disregard set in. My surgery was canceled and on the eve of surgery at 5:15pm (after business hours) and sent forward by 2days (or any day within the month; i may stop my Arnica Montana if I chosethis option). When I called to stress on the rigidity of ride and nanny arrangements i had made for that surgery appointment, they refunded money for 1-way post-op ride...

I went to the sonobello in Bellaire. I was comfortable from the time I walked in. Lisa and Tish were my nurses and they explained everything in full. Dr. Stapenhorst came in before the prcedures and went over everything he would be doing. Don and Dr. Stapenhorst were in the procedure room. Don was fantastic in assuring I was comfortable. They both carried on convesrations with me and keep the moral really high sprited. I would highly recommend them for professiionalism and friendness.

So I had liposuction on my stomach from Sono Bello like 6 years ago. It turned out decent. But it was by no means perfect. I actually ended up losing a lot more weight and decided to have a tummy tuck with skin removal. I had my tummy tuck 3 months ago with a board certified plastic surgeon in Beachwood, Ohio. I am so glad I did, she did an amazing job. So after my tummy tuck I have a little extra padding in my pubic area which I don't like. I did ask my the plastic surgeon what the cost would be to have that area liposuctioned out. She quoted me 1,800 that is under anesthesia. I went to Sono Bello today and they quoted me 4,000? Seriously? How can a board certified plastic surgeon cost less than Sono Bello? I couldn't even believe it. I was trying to avoid going under anesthesia because I have bad results from that, but seriously Sono Bello that quote was ridiculous. They lost my business. I would have gone to them to avoid going under and would also have gone to them for other things in the very near future. I won't be going back and I don't recommend them.
Visited Sono Bello recently with a friend. They are THE BEST place for Body Contouring procedures! She was EXTREMELY pleased with her results! Keep up the great work Sono Bello!
I'm 63 years old. I debated on having the surgery. I read the reviews (some not so good) But I went with my gut feeling. So, I contacted Sono Bello for a consultation. I had already done my homework and was ready for a sales pitch. I met Mary, she gave me alot of information about the procedures and ask me alot of questions about what I wanted. This is about sales too, but you have to know what you want and be realistic. I paid for surgery in full and selected my Dr. for my procedure Laser Lipo.
Dr. Skytta in the Cincinnati, OH Sono bello office is the best. She explained everything. She understood a woman's body and how you want to look. She asked me alot of questions. I had my upper abs, lower abs, inner thighs, flanks, bra roll, hips and waistline done. The nurses and staff were just great. The first procedure was for my abs, lower abs and bra roll. I had to wear the garment (faja) home. Make sure you follow the directions and drink a gallon of water a day and take it easy the first few days. You will have some swelling and some pain.
My 2nd procedure was 6 weeks later for my inner thighs, outer thighs, hips and flanks. Both procedures went great. I changed my eating habits and drunk a gallon of water a day. There will be some swelling. Extras: You do have to purchase a smaller garment (faja) and an ab board (the soft ones like a sponge) I went from an x-large to a small garment.
I'm not perfect but I couldn't be happier. I got my body back and my blood pressure went down. Overall, I have lost 32 pounds. 19 pounds after the procedures. I can see my results...
My first few appointments at Sono Bello I had to wait an hour or so to be seen (even when on time for the scheduled appointment slot). When I scheduled a surgery they called to reschedule on me several times saying the doctors had a change in their schedule. When I decided it was not a good time to have the procedure done, I tried to get my down payment back and it was a very grueling process. Three weeks ago I went back for another consultation to get a new quote and I was told I cannot reschedule the appointment or get a refund next time I decide on a surgery date. This is funny to me because it was always "okay" for them to cancel or reschedule appointments or run late. I was told a few weeks ago I would receive my new quote for surgery on the day I had my consultation. I have been calling over ten times in the past few weeks just to get a simple quote from my consultation! The employees at the front desk seem constantly confused about who to get me in contact with to rectify the problem. I keep being told that someone will get back to me that day (each day that I call). No one EVER calls me back. I'm very frustrated with this company. I once told the practice manager that I didn't feel their customer service was very good and her response was why don't you go somewhere else (instead of, "how can we improve or make things better for you in the future?"). I don't know what their surgery results are like but I feel like they are trying to get as many people as possible to sign up for surgery and are not giving the best care/service to each individual. Would not recommend based on the customer service they provide.

I was charged over $11K/$1600. 00+ per area for my procedure. This included the Tri-Sculp Lipo of my midsection. I had my procedure done in August 2017. My weight hasn't changed, I never got below 4 lbs of my original weight, and I am now back up to 170 lbs. I diet and exercise, and I still look like I am 7 months pregnant.
The sales girl in the Utah office told me that Dr. Miller would be removing 80% of the fat cells around my midsection with the Tri-Sculp Liposuction. Dr. Miller didn't do this. In fact, other than a large scar across my pubic area, and the pits along my stomach area, I really don't know what he did. However, Dr. Miller did do an unauthorized procedure on my belly button.
By the way, I wouldn't give them even half a star rating.

Listen, the so-called licensed plastic surgeons with this company, I'm in Utah, don't do the job they were paid to do. The horrible reviews spread nationwide, fyi. They also don't do quality work. Save your money, go to some other company, but make sure to check the companies reviews so you don't get harmed or ripped off!
I went for my consultation and they promised the world. My sales rep was very skilled in convincing me they were a reputable company. They set me up a pre-op appointment two and 1/2 hours away. I had to take a half day off work. I got there and waited 45 minutes to be seen. I asked the nurse about it and explained my time is valuable. She said she would check. She came back and said she checked with him and he said 10 more minutes. She went on to explain they must put the surgeries first. I shared that they shouldn't schedule surgery and consults at the same time. She agreed. I then waited an additional 30 minutes with no doctor. I went out in the hall and said I am done. I went out front and told them I just wanted a refund as they have no integrity. They don't care about me as a patient they just care about cramming as many folks in as they can no matter how much they inconvenience you as the patient. They just care about the money. I then got a call from the manager on my way home telling me they would give me a gift card do my inconvenience - seriously. I explained this all again to her and she hung up and had my salesperson call me and say they will give me $1000 off to still get it done because she didn't know if she could offer me a full refund because of the nonrefundable deposit of $2495. I said I don't accept that because we had a conversation about that and I said that is only if it is my fault for canceling and at the time she said yes. This situation was caused by them not me and they want me to pay $2495 for the privilege of taking 1/2 day off work, driving 2-1/2 hours and then waiting with no doctor for 1 -1/4 hour and drive 2-1/2 hours back — that is outrageous. Talk about money hungry - they cause issues and get $2495 from each patient without doing anything. I received NO service beyond a free consultation and they expect me to pay $2495 for that privilege. Why would anyone want to do business with a business with such lack of integrity and who would allow a doctor with no integrity perform a surgical procedure on them. They pray on people's insecurities and then rip them off. I hope this helps all of you out there to stay away from sono bello— you deserve better as did I.
I never seen no results and end up getting a tummy tuck and wasted 7,000 with them so don't do it. Tummy tuck is cheaper

I've tried nearly everything to get rid of some stubborn fat and nothing worked for me. I really thought there was no more hope for me until i did my research for sonobello. There i received a free consultation. The place was clean, they had Covid guidelines in place and the girls at the front desk were very friendly and professional. I had my consultation with Alisa. Lady's she is the one to talk to. I was kind of embarrassed to tell her about some concerns but during my consultation after asking so many questions I realized she was very knowlegable about the procedures i wanted done and was very attentive about the concerns i had. She made me feel comfortable enough to share my medical concern. She didnt judge me nor did she have that answer for me but right there and then Alisa went to the medical team,(surgeons) told them about my concerns and came back with an answer. An answer i been longing to here for so long but too embarrassed to share. She explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions and thanks to her, the medical team and god willing I will have my fat removed on 5/24/21 with no worries. I met my surgeon Dr. Chmielewski the same day, she too explained step by step on what i'm to do before and after the procedure. She also assured me that she will do all she can to make sure that I am comfortable while under her care. Finally, i found a place where people really care about what they do. I'm nervous but excited. Thank you Sonobello..
