Purchased a 2-year subscription and received a one-year subscription. Voice mail full when I tried to call. No response to my emails. They must pocket half your money to make up for cheap prices. Highly unethical "business."
I ordered a 3 yr subscription to Psychology Today and received a 2 yr term. When calling the customer service, left many messages and no one calls back. It apparently is a shell company that never responds to complaints.
Ordered Technology Review Magazine 8/18/21 and paid $24.50 via credit card, Order #*******. When magazine not received in 3 months I emailed that the order zip code was incorrect and did not have apartment number. Jan 7,2022 email stated "I have submitted that changes as that was certainly the issue. It should be extended and begin arriving in the next 4-6 weeks." In response to my emails of 2/19/22 and 3/11/22 speedymags Support Team said in reply that the subscription would start soon. Latest inquiry in April received the following reply dated 4/7/22 " Hi Douglas,
Our clearing house is still looking into the delay. We will let you know as soon as we have a start date. Sorry for the long wait. Sincerely, The Support Team"
As of early April, I have still not received one copy and the company has my payment of $24.50 for over 6 months. Complaint with BBB is in process.

I ordered a $35.00 Stamp magazine last year for my 85 year old father that lives out of state. I just received a renewal from Speedy Mags, but when I talked to my father he said he never received the magazine.
He also said he no longer wanted that magazine because he has access to it and would rather have a different one.
I contacted customer support and asked for either a refund or credit to another magazine and they said it went to him in digital form and "no refunds, we will just restart the stamp magazine subscription."
I told them that is not what I want but my emails are ignored.
I subscribed to a magazine through speedymags.com and became worried when, after 4 weeks, I had received nothing. No confirmation from publisher, no issues - nothing. I contacted speedymags by email and received a reply later that day saying "Subscriptions generally take anywhere from 6-8 weeks to begin arriving". Today, just short of 8 weeks from the day I ordered, I received my first issue; the label shows it is the first of my 1 year subscription. I was worried based upon the bad reviews others have left; but, in my case, I received a great price and the subscription started about when Speedymags customer service said it would. It would have been nice to receive something reassuring about the status during those 8 weeks.

I used PayPal to pay for the subscription and was confident I would be refunded if the transaction went awry.
What a horribly run business! I ordered FOUR two subscriptions totaling over $200 and we all sudden stopped receiving two of the subscriptions. I've contacted customer service numerous times and I get zero response! What kind of business takes your money and then goes silent? Oh that's right... a SHAM! If you like to throw your money away by all means order through speedy mags...
The SpeedyMags Support Center staff was extremely helpful in renewing one of my subscriptions. It was a pleasure dealing with professionals willing to work with a customer and who provided a good offer and excellent service.
I placed my order over 10 weeks ago and haven't received anything yet. I can find any help with my issue.

I still haven't received my order, but after this review customer service was very quick to respond and help.
Update: the magazines finally showed up after 3 months+. If you aren't in a hurry or order things that you forget about, this is a great site for cheap magazines subscription.
I paid for a renewal in August to begin when my other subscription ended in November. After three months of several emails to the "Recovery Team" to check on this order that never started, I was told that I should of received it because it was "active and delivered". After a call to the magazine company itself, I was told it was set up to start in February. I would assume it was never taken care of until I started the email comments. Lousy customer service!
I have nothing but positive things to say about speedymags. This is my second time ordering and yet again I got sports illustrated in about 4 weeks and the price was the lowest I've seen it in all the years I've been subscribing. It was even lower this year than last year.
One of the publications never started up so I called CS for help. I was treated extremely well with consideration and a no nonsense approach to make me whole. I certainly felt respected by the Customer Rep and he got back to me quickly. IMHO he demonstrated Superior Customer Service.
I ordered Mother Earth News in Feb and it is now June and I have seen nothing. The crazy thing is that Mother Earth News tells me that Speedy has no authority to even be selling their magazine. I ordered it off the Mother Earth web site. Paid 31.99 for it and no one can help me. I have a number for speedy, however they won't answer their phone. I will never quit... people need to know that Speedy is a rip off!
I would not trust this company, we order a magazine and did not received the magazine. They would not return our calls they would not answer our e-mails. The only thing they did do is take our money. After some investigation we found out they never place and order on the magazine we order. Buyers beware make sure you research this company before doing any business with Speedy Mags
Had a subscription to Outside Magazine thru this company. 1/2 thru they switched me to a digital version and now cant get any reply from anyone to get refunded as I wanted the print version. This company is a total scam beware

I subscribe to several magazines through Speedy, and get great deals. They have the very best selection of popular magazines, as well as several hard to find titles. And you get the best pricing with bundle packages. Will always order through Speedy!
I have used Speedymags in the past and just renewed a subscription. I called to place an order and had great customer service. They answered the phone quickly and answered questions I had. They are knowledgeable and very customer service oriented. I would recommend SpeedyMags highly
Paid for 3 years of a magazine. Only received 1 year. On five subsequent calls Speedymags promised me that it would be fixed and it never was. They are a bunch of liars and their service is a scam. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.
Awful, awful company. I ordered a one year subscription to msdn magazine 4 months ago and up to now haven't been sent even a single magazine. I tried contacting the company via phone and got voicemail. I left a message over the phone as well ad through their online form and have gotten no reply. I swear I've had better luck with scam artists, at least they keep in contact in order to keep the scam going. You might have guessed by now that I haven't gotten my money back since i can't even reach the company. Take your money elsewhere. Don't let the same happen to you.
Service is a joke speedy may $#*! ordered a magazine in june this year three emails later and two more weeks no magazine. Don't order from speedymags. Service is a big f__cking joke. The BBB should close them down..

Ordered 11/22/2020. The printer said they got my order on February 5th! Not So Speedy says orders are delayed due to COVID, production!? I think it is because they did not get my order for 2-1/2 months after Not So Speedy was paid. First mag showed up March 6.3-1/2 months is TOO LONG.
POLICY: "we cannot refund orders more than 48 hours past the purchase date as we have already sent the order off to the publishers for the full term of service and cannot be refunded ourselves" -Conflicts with Publisher saying order was made on February 5th!
Febuary of 2020 I ordered one subscription. Not online but talked to a real person by phone They said, no problem we can ship that to Canada within 2 months. It's now October and still haven't received anything Tons of emails and they always have an excuse why it's not shipping. Pretty sure this company is a scam and would definatly NOT recommend them. I will be contacting my credit card company to get my refund since they obviously aren't going to do it themselves. And I will certainly be using media platforms to warn people to beware of this company. Total Ripoff in my opinion. They should be shut down.
BUYERS BEWARE! What it appears to me is all SpeedyMag does is take your money, go to the website of the magazine (which is what you should do for the best deal!), then either charge you more OR, base on these other reviews, give you less magazines than what you paid for. CHECK YOUR PRICES. A lot of there magazines are much more than what you pay on the magazine's website or even Amazon. I was looking up Fine Woodworking on Speedy Mag... they wanted nearly $50 a year! Fine Woodworking Website AND Amazon both have it for $35/yr so thats, a 50% price gouge! And what exactly is 'speedy' about there service? They don't send them out and they have no way to control it. I emailed them before posting this and they were too SLOW to respond.
Note: For fun, I checked a ton of other magazines on the site, and none of them were at a discounted rate. Most were the same price, but several where much more. AVOID!

So this was a surprisingly good experience after years of horrible magazine companies. They actually answer when you call and they delivered relatively fast as the name would suggest.

I ordered a two year subscription for my daughter as a Christmas gift, Dec. 2013. I've contacted SpeedyMags several times, by phone and Email. They always have an excuse, the order didn't go through, the publisher is at fault, etc. No magazines received, they are crooks DON'T ORDER FROM THEM EVER!
These guys offer amazing service! Very good package deals of the best magazines with cheap prices and great customer service. Always answered the phone to answer my questions.
