As a Talent Agent in one the longest standing Commercial Print Agencies FFT I have been to a number of showcases... I was so impressed by Joe's touching TLC for all his Talent as well as the whole experience he creates for them. They all had the moment to shine.
For the perspective talent I could see not only were they given the tools they needed to perform but were instructed on stage savy and style.

The Talent Industry is very cut throat but Joe Society prepares talent with professionalism and pizazz.

We are having the BEST experience with Society Performers Academy! My daughter loves the classes and has improved so much! Joe is absolutely fantastic to work with and is a true professional!

After auditioning and being accepted into the Society Performers family, we signed our 7 year old up for the "Oscar Program". We knew he loved to perform, and wanted to give him the opportunity to hone his skills and decide if this was definitely something he wanted to pursue. His program required a 1 hour class 5 days a week for 6 weeks, and "homework" between each class so that he would come prepared. We weren't sure what to expect, especially for a kid so young. What we saw was truly incredible. His teachers were patient, yet strict and professional. They did not accept excuses, and pushed him to do the best work he was capable of. The notes from each class were insightful and pointed, and the environment was so professional you almost forgot these were kids. When he completed his program he had improved so much it was remarkable, we were really blown away!

Not only were we able to confirm that he was driven and capable of heading down this path professionally, he left his showcase's with a management contract and has been steadily auditioning for serious roles ever since.

We couldn't be happier with Society Performers and the great work they helped to bring out of our kid! He is thriving while doing exactly what he has always wanted to do. We couldn't have done any of this without Joe and Society Performers!

I've really, really loved working with Society Performers Academy. The staff is incredible, knowledgable, and really passionate about giving young performers the tools they need to have a strong start on their journeys in art and life. And of course the kids seem to have an absolutely amazing time with it. You can tell how eager and excited they are to be doing what they're doing. I think the program gives them a self-confidence, charisma, and poise that reach far beyond the arts and into real-life skills. I feel like these are attributes that will serve these kids really well both in their professional and social lives. And to be honest I think it's a valuable learning experience whether a young person wants to be an actor or not. This is just a great way to develop as a person in general, but of course it will be especially useful to young padawan actors and performers. And it's a lot of fun. I wish I had this program when I was a kid, and in the future my own children will definitely be enrolled as well. Highly recommended.

My daughter loves it she made a lot of friends and learn a lot. Joe and Jay are the best! She was a little shy at the beginning but she is getting better infront of the camera.

On top of all of this Joe has been hosting bi-weekly virtual chats with industry professionals and talent agents that are so informative and have really helped me navigate the path of how to get an agent and simply get started in this industry. Our 8 year old son began taking acting and singing classes with Society Performers 2 months ago. He likes to pretend and play make believe and expressed interest in being an actor/performer.

Our experience thus far can only be described as outstanding.

Here are just a few of the reasons...

- Before you work with society performers they take the time to talk to you about what the entertainment industry is like for both a parent and a child. The consultation never felt rushed. They answered every question we had, while also offering informative advice.

- They offer a wide variety of packages and times to take classes based upon your budget and schedule.

- Their coaches are exceptional actors and performers in their own right. Their talent and experience is evident and if you listen to their advice you will improve after each class. Each coach has a different style but they all take the time to provide informative and thoughtful feedback to each child.

- All of the coaches are disciplined about getting the most out of each class, but at the same time they work well with kids. My son enjoys the classes and has also learned to take critical feedback and strive to improve.

- I get the sense that each coach really enjoys what they do. I've never felt like any coach was rushing or didn't want to be there. In fact, quite the opposite, I can see the energy they put into each class and each child to help them improve.

- Once a month, they give each child the opportunity to perform for an agent that has been vetted by the company.

- Their support staff is available via text message or email and they are highly responsive, friendly and easy to work with.

- They keep you informed via email and social media about auditions and open casting calls.

I could go on and on. It is so refreshing to see such an incredibly well run organization, especially when they are working on behalf of you child. I passionately recommend society performers to anyone who is looking to work in the entertainment industry!

I cannot say enough enough positive things about Joe Lorenzo, the amazing coaches on staff and SPA as an organization. My children have truly blossomed not only in their self confidence, but in their creativity as well. It has been amazing to watch them connect with their coaches, practice their lines and expand their goals and enthusiasm for acting and modeling. I am always grateful for the personal guidance/feedback that the kids receive and the prompt responsiveness to all of my questions. As a protective parent who spends a lot of time researching backgrounds/safety measures of anyone whom I entrust with their care and wellbeing, I can honestly say I have felt safe and comfortable with all of the coaches and staff members at SPA. Joe has answered all of my questions, ensures that all staff undergo background checks and has created a safe place for my children to grow and thrive in their personal goals as future models and actors. As I have been keenly observing interactions between my children and the coaches I have seen each of them display and model good boundaries and professionalism at all times. I am truly grateful that on their own accord, my children have courageously challenged themselves to learn and be coached by the best in the business. As a Mom I always pray for the best for my kids. A couple days after my daughter (Julia) came to me and told me she wanted to be an actress and singer I received a text message about Society Performers Academy. I took it as a sign that it was meant to be. Little did I know how much more Society Performers Academy was going to be, more incredible than any thought I had. The universe sent us Joe and his team and we are forever grateful! Julia has never been this excited about a dream or goal of hers before. Its breathtaking to see how happy she is when it's time for class and to watch how much she loves participating. The way a place, an instructor makes you feel is imperative for success. I wanted to take a few minutes to recognize Joe Lorenzo, and our Society Performers Academy. This a academy of family. We have been associated with this academy for over a year now. What a amazing platform for our children interested in performing in any facet. My daughter is actively perusing singing & acting. Joe is not a entity behind the curtain, but a hands on floor General who puts together some of the best curriculum, events, and shares his platform, experience, and his network of relationships industry wide with every family and child. He is complimented by his unbelievable staff that work tirelessly to prepare our kids for success. Not only in performing, but also in character building, communication and personal development, responsibility, as well as dedication and discipline to what they love to do. All while having fun and mastering each child's own development in their craft. As a father to a daughter, this industry can be challenging and scary at times. Being a part of SPA has allowed my child to flourish, build confidence, and allowed me to have a high level of comfortability with Joe's guidance and parental approach to our children. We just were a part of the biggest Gala show at SPIN 2022. WOW! I can only say that my daughter will never forget her experience. She performed in the production after auditioning. For anyone on the fence, or has reservations about putting your child in performing arts, I would say I recommend SPA. This is the best fraternity of family to join and meet other parents and friends. To help our children develop social skills and fuel their competitive drive for success. And lastly, to get a hands on team that walks us through the beginning stages of a robust industry with parent education. We were skeptical at first but Nina learned so much with SPA and SPIN was a great experience for both of us, new connections and valuable information. We love SPA and Joe Lorenzo.

I will say that going into this, I was a bit uncertain with the value we would get for our money. We found Society Performers Academy through an IG ad that looked like an audition to get your kid on Network TV. Yes, it was an audition, but the audition is to determine whether your kid has what it takes to join their academy and train to become true performers. Our initial interface felt like we might be getting suckered into an MLM or timeshare scam, but IT WAS NOT. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL that we stuck it out with SPA. That experience only improved once meeting Joe Lorenzo. He is the owner and is so incredibly personable.

Our daughter participated in an initial course package that included acting classes and a showcase in front of 2 agents. Although she did not get signed at the time, she went on to take additional courses and prepare for SPA's Nationals conference (Society Performers In Nationals (SPiN)). Oh my goodness. As adults we have the exposure to grow our career by networking and attending conference workshops. This is similar to the experience we had at SPiN. After 3 days of intense training, fun modeling workshops, and a dance party. Our 6 year old auditioned in front of 32 agents and casting directors. Not only was she much more prepared, she was confident. She ended up getting 11 callbacks with these agencies. She really liked that she had the option to follow-up with interested agencies and pick one that she felt suited her interests and made her most comfortable. Without SPiN, I highly doubt she would've had this opportunity. Our daughter is now signed with one of the highest acclaimed agencies in Hollywood and is so excited to see what other opportunities are to come. THANK YOU JOE and the whole SPA Team. <3

I will be honest, this industry felt a bit intimidating, especially as a parent. As a result I unknowingly have resisted fully supporting the deep passion my daughter has for acting (that has not changed in her near 16 years on this earth). We come from a small community in BC Canada, the options feel more limited. Stumbling upon Society Performers feels like finding the most precious gem. At first the option to train and learn from a distance was the gift but so quickly it's been about SO much more. The opportunity and empowerment offered mixed with honesty and guidance truly left us in awe that a program like this actually exists in this industry.

There is a humble confidence, an integrity that is felt from Joe Lorenzo, the owner and his entire team in both their US and Canadian divisions. This was felt through texts, zoom and validated even more after spending a week with them in person. These are really good humans who genuinely care and at the same time are truthful, who lead with their hearts AND have the expertise of decades; decades of learning, relearning, unlearning, decades of showing up, rising again each day, decades of relationships, decades of integrity. And they have chosen to share this with our passionate kids + teens. It's such a big deal.

There were two things that have come up each time we hear agents, casting directors, managers share tips for inspiring actors … 1. Take classes always, keep practicing like an athlete practices for game day. Keep expanding yourself and your craft. 2. This profession is a journey, over years and years with so much to navigate and experience so be sure to enjoy all the pieces, fall in love with all the pieces.

That is what makes Society Performers such a gem. It offers all of this and more. It is a community. A family. A lighthouse, a hug. It offers honesty and also requires work, heart and passion. It offers a safe space to grow with a multitude of classes + coaches and to feel so supported on the journey, there has been no question left unanswered. (The deeper we venture in this industry, the more we realize how huge this support is) One other huge gift is the friendships and genuine group of performers + families in SPA, uplifting and genuine joy for each other. I can't imagine a better team to have on this path for my daughter Emmah and our family too. In the words of Emmah when asked about SPA, 'my world has expanded 1000 times in the best possible way'. What more could we ever want for our children :) So very grateful. 5 star plus.
