SpokeChoice is an electronic visit verification system for providers and consumers. It touts itself as a healthcare solution, having many applications and a database. It is supposed to perform several tasks all in one place. Each of these tasks is simple in its own right, including tagging your location, logging a timestamp when you clock in and out, and collecting notes that include checkboxes and/or text boxes. And yet somehow, despite the simplicity of these things, it is an absolutely terrible system. It does not function correctly on almost a daily basis. There is a myriad of ways in which it malfunctions. It will log you out in the middle of taking notes (with loss of data!), erase notes for unknown reasons without even telling you (i.e. I log a note and save and it appears to go through but a supervisor can't see it), sit and load until it's timed out, not allow you to log in, not allow you to log out, and the list goes on and on. It malfunctions almost daily. It's literally so bad that I don't know why any company would choose it. Please, if you are a company considering using this awful system, please talk to literally anybody who has to use it on a daily basis. I know people in numerous roles who have used it, and nobody likes it. I know people across several companies who use it, and nobody likes it. I know people who use it as consumers and I know people who use it as providers, and nobody likes it. I know people who had to use it 2 years ago, one year ago, and today, and nobody likes it. How this system got chosen by so many companies in my area is an absolute mystery to me. Would you go to a gas station if it didn't provide gas half the time? Or if you selected 87 but got 91 instead? Or if you wanted to fill up but had to drive away with a quarter of a tank? No. No one would. So why anyone uses SpokeChoice is a mystery to me, especially given the simplicity of the applications that it is supposed to provide. How hard is it to tag a location? And yet I have to sit and watch these stupid little loading animations while SpokeChoice is trying to figure out where I'm at. Why would that take 5 minutes? Who knows. And I have never seen a website/application that updates as much as this one. And why? Is it fixing the glitches? No. I'm pretty sure it's just adding new ridiculous animations. It's like they know the design of the system is so bad that they're trying to compensate with animations. It is terrible. So much time wasted. As I write this, I've been waiting 30 minutes to log a note. This task should take 10 minutes. So. Much. Time. Wasted. Keep in mind that Google updates in real time. It saves my documents without me even needing to click save. Meanwhile, trying to load my notes in SpokeChoice (while having full bars AND being connected to wireless) has taken me over 30 minutes. To save text. Text. Letters and words. It is literally awful. Do yourself a favor before using this system. Look elsewhere. Literally anywhere else. Unless you love hearing the words "SpokeChoice is down again."

Tip for consumers:
That if you plan to use this system/website /app, you should plan on it not functioning correctly and every task taking at LEAST twice as long as it should.
