I recently had an awful experience with Sportitude and their handling of my warranty claim for a pair of Hoka shoes. Despite purchasing them less than 4 months ago, the shoes began to peel after only a few uses. I reached out to Sportitude for a resolution, but instead of acknowledging the clear manufacturing defect, they blamed me for "extensive use" and refused to honor the warranty.
Their customer service team, particularly Rhys and Lindsay, was dismissive and unhelpful throughout the entire process. Despite providing evidence and even getting confirmation from a Hoka store that the shoes were faulty, Sportitude continued to evade responsibility. It's clear they care more about making excuses than ensuring customer satisfaction.
The lack of accountability and refusal to stand behind their products is completely unacceptable. I will never purchase from Sportitude again, and I urge others to beware of their poor quality products and appalling customer service.
In summary, Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere even if they are $20 cheaper!
BEWARE this store is not selling authentic goods, I have received a pair of Asics shoes that are definitely not authentic, they have the classic glue everywhere, the sizing is off, this is just an avenue for dodgy rip offs - the ones you avoid on ebay! I have also contacted Asics Oceania for Australia and they have confirmed. This is not the first time they have received complaints - AVOID your feet will get injured and you will have to replace them in months as they fall apart! Even Asics said that the prices were impossibly low if they were authentic shoes. They would not be making a profit on them if they had to purchase them form Asics and sell at this price - mine have fallen apart in 2 weeks!
On Wednesday 1st November 2023 I purchased a New Balance 624v5 - Mens Cross Training Shoes - White/Navy for $125.94 with Postage of $5.95 plus 10% discount so I could wear comfortable shoes that was recommended to me by Athlete's Foot Eastland and my doctor since the other shoes were a bit tight.
